damon ship warring is hard because the top three are all liluka coded. kaimon is literally snake x butterfly ship which happens due to Damon getting stuck with Kai and them eventually getting along. Then there's Diamon who are supposed to be foils in which Damon comes to realize the fact that Diana was the other person who wanted to trust him despite staying with the rest of the group and following Wolfgang's footsteps, and then Damon going completely against his survivalist loner personality in order to defend her in the trial. And there's also Maitsunaka where the two actually did get along but there was this whole thing with Eva having to lie against everyone because that's what she thought she had to do in order to ensure her survival and Damon eventually getting betrayed by her attempting to even frame him as the culprit, and how he had watch her die in a fiery gruesome pit of hell.
