Fun little fact, thought it was a neat little coincidence.

Alastor being gone for 7 years also lines up with the Plot of the book, Hannibal. In which Hannibal lecter also disappears for 7 years after his escape from authorities in Silence of the Lambs. He only gets involved again when the Heroine, Clarice Starling is set up by the FBI to be the Fall guy for a botched raid. Similarly, Charlie's new hotel is practically set up for failure until lo and behold, Alastor pops in after a 7 year absence.
