so im rereading homestuck bc my life is a mess and it brings me nostalgic joy, and it just occurred to me that hussie missed a HUGE opportunity in the end of act 6 by having Robo-Jack leave the Felt fight to take on the Striders, because if he'd played it right, he could have had him run into Karkat. You know, the guy whose session he was from. The guy who actually felt betrayed when Noir killed him, because he thought of Jack as his friend. That guy.

But instead, he's defeated by the Striders, who he could not give less of a shit about-- and Terezi, who exiled him I guess, but with no acknowledgement that he even remembers who she is. What a waste.

#like. karkat's penultimate development is that he has no clue what blood is about #reminding him of that first blood bond would have been perfect. instead of winning a fight against clover which is p much meaningless??#if hussie played it right he could have had the felt members disperse to *help* with the other fights #i mean this isn't even the biggest problem with the way act 6 wrapped up but its a new one for me #the first like 90% of homestuck still holds up imo #(i mean. disregarding the juvenile act 1 humor that was never actually funny)#but near the end he just. totally drops the ball #homestuck
