By itself the Windblade comics are already very good, but in the context of the rest of the comics they become even better. The two main running comics spend a lot of time showing just how absolutely terrible the war was. With that in mind the commitment to peace and improvement in these comics? It's just nice.

Things get better, Cybertron gets better, people who hurt others before don't have to keep doing that. Healing and betterment.

It's a shame how Cybertron doesn't survive the continuity, but the rebuilding wasn't just a literal thing. Not all progress was destroyed. And because of the Windblade comics, when I imagine the future post-unicron I can actually imagine that it goes well.
