reo is absolutely one of the best boyfriends in the world, also if his behaviour at first could seem quite exaggerated.

understand him: he’s always had whatever he asked (and didn’t ask for), so dealing with new emotions that no one has ever taught him how to manage can be tricky.

reo’s love language is giving gifts. he claims that he’s not good at it, but after a couple of months into your relationship, he is capable of knowing what you would like to receive for your birthday, for christmas and other celebrations.

how has he become that good? this boy loves you to the point that you could talk about your interests for hours and he would listen everything you’d have to say. scientists have discovered a new species of goldfish and you want to adopt one of them? he’ll listen. your favourite kpop group has released the best album of the century? he’ll become their stan.

he loves looking at your reaction when you open one of his gifts. seeing you smiling is his favourite thing.

reo once invited you over to play football with him and nagi. they taught you some cool and easy tricks to do, then nagi wanted to go inside and play mario kart.

he’s the type of boyfriend who will whisper “i love you so much” while you’re sleeping.

reo is a big fan of hugs. hugging you is the best part of the day: no matter if you’re small, skinny, chubby, taller than him etc., he loves you no matter what.

absolutely adores when you massage his scalp. it soothes him and, trust me, he’ll fall asleep in seconds if you do it when he’s tired.

gets excited when he sees you in the stands during one of his matches. having someone that roots for him brightens his day.

Ohhh I can't really pick between Max or Carlos but if you put a gun to my head right at this moment my answer would probably be Carlos.

Oh yes, I am very bad at "solo stanning" (that's a kpop term but you get what I mean)

My faves are Max, Carlos, Charles, Lando, Oscar and Yuki

Who is your least favorite driver?

Its just my personal preference to never answer this question because I just find it unnecessary to put it out into the world. Of course there are drivers I do not like and I do occasionally bitch about them, I just prefer to that privately to my friends :)

Do you pull for drivers or do you like teams as well?

Both, its just in the nature of the sport isn't it? You have a team but there is so much talent on the grid that I feel like one does oneself a disservice by limiting it to only the two drivers on the team one cheers for.

If you like teams what teams do you pull for?

Ferrari. I'm really basic.

How long have you been into F1?

I have been properly aware of it since 2022 but I didn't start following it, as in watching every race, before 2023.

What got you into F1?

I have always loved sports. I'm a big football fan (the real one, not the American one) and I absolutely ADORE figureskating so I was already primed to love it.

The story is basically that me and my fiancé, then boyfriend, really wanted to have something to root for together. We both love football but I'm a Barcelona fan and he is a Real Madrid fan, you see the issue. So he said

"Babe, I think you would love F1. Check out this Netflix show so you are up to speed and then we can watch it together. I wont tell you what team we like, you will see that there really is only one correct team and driver to root for."

So I did. I gathered all my snacks and prepared myself for a binge watch. I fell in love with the sport around halfway into the first episode. I finished it and happily went to report back to my love. This is the exact conversation we had

"So, you picked the correct team and driver right?"

"Ofc! You were right it was so obvious. How can one NOT like Max? He is fantastic!"

"...Babe"

"...Yeah?"

"I like Lewis Hamilton."

"Fuck."

I don't mind it. As long as people are not weird about it, like actually believe that their ships are true or tell drivers about ao3, I don't see the issue.

Other than my fiancé I have two irl friends who really love it. My poor mother is forced to listen to my ramblings so she knows a lot but she finds the sport pointless.

Thanks for sharing your opinions on LOONA everything is super fair and even as a long time fan I knew those troubles were always on the horizon but the music and all the members had their charms. anon i’m also a kpop stan so when i said the thing about people stanning them like they’re kpop idols i wasn’t rly trying to insult anyone! it’s just a very different type of “relationship” i guess and you really can’t engage with footballers the same way. i genuinely think this is why there’s so much gavi pedri friend discourse because kpop stans are used to idols interacting in a certain way and don’t even get me started on the actual shipping. people have talked ab this before on here too but i guarantee that’s why the “pedri is doing PR with gavi” accusations started too, it’s a common thing among kpop stans to accuse that of idols (and also the kpop industry is filled with so much fanservice so i think some people think that would somehow be required of pedri and gavi when it would NOT and never will be). the way idols are required to interact with fans is very very different and that kind of thing will never apply to pedri or gavi, their career doesn’t hinge on satisfying fans in the same way and they just don’t really owe stans anything (not saying kpop idols do but the jobs are just very different fan wise)

The whole pr friendship discourse is very kpop twitter coded like that's how people constantly scrutinize idols' relationships with their bandmates and now they think they can use the same formula on football players but it just does not work like that. Also, fanservice doesn't exist in football the way it does in K-pop. The most you'll get from footballers is little YouTube challenges or Instagram stories (and we don't even get those from Gavi 😭😭). They're football players, their main job is to deliver on the pitch so their success isn't as dependent on fans as it is the case for idols which is why they aren't as obligated to meet fans'wishes the way idols are forced to. There's a huge difference between the two fields and you need to act accordingly

ok so daeseong was born in daegu but moved to los angeles at the age of 3, so he was americanised a LOT,, for the longest time, he spoke english better than korean and it was like that until he returned permanently to korea at the age of 14

they were always back and forth between the two over the years, but he still spent the majority of time in the states

they originally moved to los angeles because of his father’s job – he was a producer for a big network and he got an opportunity in america so they took off !! the network got shut down years and years later and daeseong’s dad was like LOL YEET and moved the fam back to korea !!

baby daeseong was v much full of energy and his parents tried putting him in a number of things – singing wasn’t for him, dancing was alright, but he still couldn’t remember the moves good enough, and instruments just weren’t his thing either – he did play piano, but that was thanks to years and years of practice. but anything else thrown his way wasn’t his thing.

his parents put him into american football to begin with,, and they learned quick enough that dae was also a pretty angry kid so he wasn’t afraid to run hEAD FIRST INTO PEOPLE

and so that’s the thing that got him put into boxing and ofc he thrived there,, he was taught so much and told to calm himself down,, it wasn’t aLL about fighting and he absolutely fell in love with it !! remember i mentioned he was alright at dancing???? that just helped him with his footwork in fighting

talking about falling in love with things, he fell in love with jinae and rory pretty quickly when he met the pair – they always seemed to make him smile, and as a quiet, aggressive kid, it definitely helped him a lot.

so like i said before he returned to korea at 14

he joined another gym there and life took off for lil dae !!! by that point he had been boxing for eight years, and those eight years led up to him attending and fighting in the 2008 beijing olympics – he didn’t win a medal, but he did do well enough where everyone was talking about him and would be keeping their eye on him for the next four years after that to see if he would be competing again

and he did !! he competed in the london 2012 olympics and thats when he brought a medal home for south korea in boxing at the age of 19 !!! he placed second after losing out to the united states,,, but ofc he was a lil happy about them winning bc he considers there a second home

because of the success, he was invited on a few variety shows and created an impression there too – granted that was back in 2012-2013, but he’s not interested in all of that now.. he prefers to let his work speak for himself

after his win, he opened up his own boxing gym so he could start teaching younger people, and those who were less fortunate so they could learn how to properly fight and fight for a sport, rather than anything else. it’s something he’s very proud of, and a place that has grown and grown through the years since late 2013-early 2014

ofc he competed in the 2016 olympics in rio and came home with a bronze medal,,, which BUMMED HIM TF OUT but he still took it as an honour – after that, he just had a few title fights here and there but he did absolutely nothing in 2017 concerning boxing, which had people questioning what was happening with daeseong

he decided to enlist to the military in may 2017 and served with the marines for 21 months. he’ll easily tell anyone that it’s the hardest thing he’s ever done, more so than fighting.

he got out in february of 2019 and instantly jumped back into his gym and into training again

he’s waiting for the right time to schedule a fight,, he knows he isn’t up to his standard that he was once at but he does want to get back into the ring for a legit fight

and it’s something a lot of people are waiting for since his return from the military

even more so, he wants that gold medal from the olympics before its too late,,, but gearing up for 2020 seems TOO SOON and waiting until 2024 is too long so he’s v v v v conflicted

he’s a real sweetheart despite doing something scary lol wants nothing but the best for people, always there to lend a hand, always there to help absolutely anyone around him

Personally, these videos are the main reason I stan BTS so much, because they’re basically short lil videos into BTS’s backstage life and personalities. I’m such a hypocrite, I’m gonna show you my (personal) top 3 fav Bangtan Bombs right now.

(1)  150120 [BANGTAN BOMB] 95z dance time with a Beat app - I like this one because it shows the family dynamics of the group. I tried to pick Bangtan Bombs that had them all in it. 

(2)  140414 [BANGTAN BOMB] After Show Champion Special Stage - This one literally shows each of their personalities in a couple of seconds lol

(3) [BANGTAN BOMB] Runway in the night - Nothing needs to be said for this one. 

-This is not a Bangtan Bomb, but this is their Introduction Performance Trailer where they showcase their dance skills for their debut. I just, I love and idk where to put it.

>>> BANGTANTV - This channel is where they post their Bangtan Bombs, choreography videos, behind the scenes footage, covers, and their messages to ARMY. (ARMY=BTS fans)

>>> ibighit - This is BTS’s company channel. If you watch any of their music videos, PLEASE watch it on here because I believe it gives the company money without going through 1theK. (At least that’s what I heard.) You’ll see other groups on here like Homme, but BigHit’s been focusing on BTS, so it is mostly their content. But hey, if y’all have time, check out GLAM. They’re a girl group who used to be under BigHit. I really like their style and BTS used to be backup dancers for them.

These are some important series I think y’all should watch if you want to dive into BTS’s music video theory universe. 

(1) BTS Wings Short Films - These videos were made to premise the Wings era and the Blood Sweat and Tears mv. Each short film title has a corresponding solo music track for each member. They are beautiful and they are connect. People have still not figured out all the theories, but there are some pretty good ones out there, so check them out. But let me just say this, these theories extend all the way to BTS’s first ever mv ‘No More Dream,’ cuz y’all “Stigma” was spray painted on the mcfreaking wall.

(2) BTS Highlight Reels - These videos were made to premise the Love Yourself era and there are GIRLS in it! I’m still waiting for them to come back. I miss them. These videos also tie into the BTS mv theory universe. 

(3) BTS Prologue - This video is solely focused on the story of the HYYH era and the music videos. It connects with every mv but particularly with Run and I Need U.

>>> BTS’s VLive Channel - This is basically a livestream channel where fans can actually have a chance to talk to BTS when they go live. You can make an account to get notifications and make comments, but you don’t need one to watch. (Pro-ARMY Tip: If you’re ever on there and some fool asks a member to get another member, tell them to stop, that’s just disrespectful.)

They post a lot of cool series on there like:

-BTS RUN! - A show where they do a lot of games and activities. 

-BTS Bon Voyage Season 1 -They go to Europe.

-BTS Bon Voyage Season 2- They go to Hawaii!!! They stayed in my grandma’s neighborhood!

-BTS GAYO - I believe they do music activities on this and other games.

I'm always amazed to see how people can be so angry with another fandom it's interesting to see really. Was the same thing with Supernatural and Doctor Who and Justin Bieber and all the others who have a large fan base.

Of course there are idiots and people who say they're 'fans' but are just there to flame others and make them sad or angry. Surprise! Football knows this phenomenon since it's beginnings. Why are you now so surprised that a famous kpop group has it too? Hooligans are a worldwide phenomenon.

Yes of course it would be nice for BTS to say something, even if it's just to soothe people like the OP. But what if their manager/company doesn't let them? What if they are restricted by their company to not tell their 'fans' off? And besides, as if it would change the bahavior of those mean 'fans'

The groups are even friends with each other. Monsta X and BTS and all the others Stan each other even. Don't you think if they were upset about something they wouldn't talk with each other and mention it, if it was really important?

If you don't like BTS fine with me but they ARE one of the most famous kpop groups out there. And because if them it's not 'weird' anymore to listen to kpop music openly here where I live. And I'm imensly greatful for that.

Facit : of course we shouldn't let those hooligans run loose but attacking the band for 'not doing anything' won't solve the problem either. At the end of the day the fandom is responsible for itself and they need to do something about it. No one else can solve this.

a little introduction to 24k is needed: 24K (투포케이) currently consists of cory, kisu, jeonguk, hui, changsun, jinhong, and hongseob. They debuted on september 6th, 2012, under choeun entertainment. The fandom name is 24U and our official fan colours are GLITTER GOLD and YELLOW GOLD. CHECK OUT THE CHOEUN YOUTUBE ACCOUNT 24K ARE MAD they also do vlives, and regularly use their own social medias they also had a sub-unit called 4K that came before 24k but its not used anymore due to the members in it leaving also they called themselves 24k bc they had 4 members in the sub unit 4k and then when they debuted they added 2 more members so 2 4 k??? WOW GenIUses I LOVE THIS CONCEPT

i am new to ifnt and rly dont wanna make anyone mad but i don't see the big deal abt woohyun. yes he is hot and can sing but why does every1 love him so much? i dont mean it in a bad way jst that i dont see how he is more popular than others. also i dont see how his voice is so different to other kpop singers? but then again i am new so maybe i dont kno wht i am talking about. pls help me to understand more?

You caught me at the absolute pinnacle of my Woohyun feels, which happens every year around his birthday. And therefore (with a little help from my friends) I have constructed this little list of reasons why Woohyun is absolutely deserving of the amount of love he receives from Inspirits and why it’s kinda hard not to love him, even if he isn’t your favourite member…

1. WOOHYUN’S LIVE VOCALS

Woohyun is known for having what many call a ‘power-house’ vocal. You can always rely on him to hit those incredible high notes in INFINITE songs. He’s known for being able to bellow out his lines; his voice is strong, loud and instantly recognisable. But he also pours a lot of emotion into his vocals, every note dripping with it. His solo album Write.. and his subsequent appearances on Immortal Songs 2 showcased another side to his vocals too; a softer side, gentle, quieter but without lacking that trademark emotion in his voice. It really proved he’s a versatile vocalist, and not just there to yell at the top of his lungs (but it’s still incredible when he does). Here is Woohyun performing on Immortal Songs 2. This appearance earned him the highest score for an idol on the show at that point. 

He is (in my opinion) one of the best live singers in kpop at the moment. I can’t think of many people who could hold a candle to him, really. Yet he is still improving and working on his voice; he still admits he has far to go. 

2. WOOHYUN’S FAN SERVICE / HIS LOVE FOR FANS

Woohyun is known for being the ‘fan idiot’ in INFINITE. He’s got a different heart for every occasion and is usually credited with popularising the ‘finger heart’ that everyone uses nowadays. In 2012 he came 3rd in Weekly Idol’s Fan Service poll (as voted by idols), and the video shows some good examples of him showering Inspirits with love. He consistently refers to fans as his ‘girlfriends’, to the point his twitter bio even says it (팬=여친fan=girlfriend). But his love for Inspirits runs deeper than superficial hearts and displays of cuteness. INFINITE and Inspirits have had a close relationship since debut, and it has continued on to this day. During One Great Step, INFINITE’s first world tour in 2013/14, Woohyun personally went out to buy roses and small rings to present to fans at their shows, spending his own money. He wrote and composed the song ‘함께 (Together)’ during OGS, and dedicated it to Inspirits, saying it was about fans (see the lyrics here). 

At Dream Concert in 2016, Woohyun performed as a solo artist for the first time, and even other fandoms began to feel jealous at the amount of attention he gave to Inspirits. [Even more reactions here] He sang just for them, never taking his eyes off their section of the crowd and taking out his earpiece to listen to them singing along. Okay, so later all of INFINITE roasted Inspirits for not being able to sing well, but at least Woohyun then tried to explain how to sing properly.

It should be noted too, that after this performance, Woohyun and INFINITE gained a lot of new fans who were impressed by him. 

3. WOOHYUN’S PASSION FOR SINGING / MAKING MUSIC

As I mentioned above, Woohyun wrote and composed ‘함께 (Together)’ for INFINITE while they were taking part in their first world tour. During their movie, Grow, which showed the behind the scenes of OGS, you see Woohyun jumping up in the middle of eating to go and compose. 

He was excited about this song and wanted to share it with the rest of INFINITE once he was finished, asking them to contribute to the lyric writing too. Then his solo album Write.. was released in 2016 with 3/6 tracks having Woohyun’s direct involvement: ‘향기 (Scent/Nostalgia)’ which was entirely written and composed by Woohyun, and ‘Gravity’ and ‘Everyday’ which Woohyun co-wrote and composed [source]. You could tell he had worked extremely hard on these songs, and could tell how proud he was of them when he spoke about them in interviews. Whenever Woohyun takes the stage, you know that the energy and enthusiasm he exudes isn’t just an act… He truly loves singing, is passionate about performing and wants to share his talent with the world. For example, look how stupidly in his element he is performing Everyday in Singapore during INFINITE’s second world tour (© Honey Tree ) :

4. AND EVERYTHING ELSE:

Those were just three main points focused on Woohyun as a singer, performer and idol. There are so many other sides to Woohyun too, and so many reasons to love him. 

He loves cooking, and his instagram is full of videos of him making food

His relationships with the other INFINITE members are really sweet. Just one recent example would be: even when everyone was teasing Sungjong and being kinda mean (including Woohyun), he did then reassure him that there would be plenty of INFINITE schedules soon and that he needn’t worry. He’s also super affectionate with the others, and you’ll often find him touching them or correcting their hair/touching their face/leaning on them.

Actor Woohyun!!! He’s been in multiple dramas, but my personal favourite is Hi School Love On, where he played Shin Woohyun… Please watch it if you haven’t already, it’s so good (and it’s all available on KBSWorld’s youtube channel with subs, here)!

His friendships with other 91 line celebrities, especially SHINee’s Key with whom he debuted as the special sub-unit ToHeart in 2014. 

Like you mentioned, he is ridiculously good-looking and is known for not having had any surgery - that nose and that jawline are aaaaallll natural, ladies ~~ 

He loves football and plays for FC Men (FC 멘), an all-star team affiliated with the Suwon Bluewings alongside other celebrities. 

My closing statement is this: usually when you stan a group you’ll have a favourite member, one you look at more than the others, one you might pay a little more attention to during MVs or performances or shows. But then often (and in most cases when it comes to my Inspirit friends), you end up loving them all. Your bias might even change (maybe even many times). You’ll find it hard to stick solely to one member, especially when the rest of the group are so damn lovable. Soon enough, you realise you’re OT7 biased and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Do yourself a solid and give Woohyun a chance. I’m sure you’ll see why everyone likes him so much in no time.
