#do i want it more than a dwarf romance? maybe#i do wish dragon age would get weirder with their world building like beyond dwarves are resistant to magic#i like it when fantasy settings take “classic” tolkien-esque tropes and get real weird with it#like in divinity original sin 2 how the elves gain/access memory from eating/licking people#plus mechanically in game having dwarf player characters have special underground abilities would be so neat#a canonical reason for all dwarves to have whiskers etc like how moles can feel soundwaves with their fur#like i love the da elves but the dwarves do need more world building love (the elves could also be weirder)#outside of the deep roads/darkspawn stuff they get#reblog#dragon age#they should 100 % have some kind of advantage underground#if da dwarves were like fantasy cave moles/bats i would maybe be more willing to go to the deep roads#maybe#i fucking hate the deep roads so like this would be big
