maybe it’s me, but i don’t understand the consensus that the same people who literally rushed to the defense of a r*pist would speak up about the hermoso/rubiales situation…? why would anyone who interacted with that m*ndy post speak up about anything that doesn’t solely serve men?
was that not whole ordeal, them showcasing their their misogyny? they don’t care about women in the slightest, I feel like that was glaringly obvious. why do they need to add some phony, obviously written by pr statement, that doesn’t even reflect how they actually feel?

Part of the Family
Chris Evans x Reader
A/n: my first Fic that’s not MIW... let’s see how this goes I guess
I huffed pacing around my closet in my black jeans and nude bra trying to figure out what to wear. I’m from the west coast, I’m not used to having to deal snow in the winter and icy streets like New York does. Finally I found a white sweater with a big collar tucked away in the back of my closet. It was the sweater I wore for special occasions. I’d say this is a pretty special occasion. It’s December 23, or Christmas Eve Eve, and my boyfriend Chris is taking me to his hometown of Boston for the first time this year. We hadn’t originally planned where we were going to be for Christmas but since we’re both living in New York at the moment, due to us shooting a movie together and we decided it’s a good year for me to meet the rest of the Evans’. I slipped on the sweater and grabbed the leather jacket that was also hanging in the closet, when I walked back into the bedroom Chris was already there finishing the buttons of his blue flannel. I checked the time, 9:45am. It was about a 3 and a half hour drive from New York to Boston, so we had to leave very soon if we’re going to make it in time for the party. I tucked my hair behind my ears and sat down on the bed to put on my heeled boots. Chris could sense my nerves and cams over to squat down in front of me, helping me with the zipper on the boot I was having trouble with. He did the other and grabbed my hand, bringing it to his lips, giving it a soft peck. I let out the breath I didn’t know I was holding and smiled.
“Are you nervous?” He asked, already knowing the answer. I softly chuckled and nodded.
“Don’t be. My family is going to love you, You’ll for right in with everyone. And you already know Scott, so there’ll be one familiar face.” He said easing my nerves.
He helped me stand up and slip on my leather jacket. With my boots, I reached just right under his head, making him not have to look down as much as he does when I wear normal shoes. I leaned into his chest and he wrapped his arms around me rocking me gently.
“I love you.” He whispered kissing the top of my head. I hummed.
“Love you more, Mr. America.” That made him laugh loudly.
“Okay, time to head out.” He said still chuckling. I grabbed my phone and my charger and walked out to the kitchen. My purse was sitting on the counter right as I entered, so I slipped my charger in there and my phone in my back pocket. I waked over to the pantry to grab a snack to eat in the car, and turned to find Chris standing there with two travel mugs of coffee. I immediately accepted and hummed in delight as I took a sip.
“You’re the only person who knows how to make my coffee. Seriously not even Starbucks gets it right most of the time.” I stood on my tip toes to kiss his lips. He smiled and tapped my cup with his saying “cheers”.
“Alright you got everything?” Chris asked. I looked around and nodded. I had my phone, my purse on my shoulder, my duffle in my hand, and I think that’s it. Then it hit me.
“Dodger!” I said. He smiled and called for the dog. Dodger came trotting into the kitchen with his tail wagging ready to go.
“Now I think that’s everything.”
Once we were sure, we headed down to the garage of the building, walking towards Chris’s black Ford F-150. The seats were up in the back to make room for Dodger and our two bags. As soon as everything in the back was situated, me and Chris got in the front, he started the truck and turned on the heater. The first thing I reached for was the butt warmers, or the best creation known to mankind. I scored down in my seat more and got comfortable for our drive. A few minutes later Chris and I were on the highway going north. I plugged my phone into the aux and played my music. “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran was the first song on, and out of the corner of my eye I saw Chris look over at me.
“You know,” he started, gaining my attention. “This song always reminds me of you.” I furrowed my eyebrows as he continued.
“I always imagined us dancing to this song at our wedding.” As soon as he spoke my eyes widened. Wedding. That’s a big word. I didn’t know Chris was thinking abut such a big word. We’ve been dating for almost a year now, and that topic hasn’t come up once.
“Really?” I asked, trying to keep my cool. It’s not that I didn’t want to marry him. Of course I did, I think I’ve been planning our wedding since we met. It’s just hearing those words come out of his mouth brought a reality to it that I wasn’t prepared for.
He nodded his head, probably reading my mind right now, feeling my panic.
“If I just made you uncomfortable I am so sorry, I didn’t mean we had to get married tomorrow.” He said his grip on he steering wheel a little tighter than before. I shook my head.
“No, no it’s nothing like that. I can’t wait to marry you someday, I just wasn’t expecting you to say that.” I placed my left hand on his right that was resting on the consul. Glancing down at my ring finger, I imagined what the ring that would one day decorate my hand would look like. Maybe I should start leaving pictures around the apartment. My eyes met Chris’ once again and he smirked, reading my mind once again.
We were about half an hour out from Chris’ childhood home, and my nerves picked up quickly. The drive had gone pretty smoothly. Dodger has been chilled out in the back, and Chris and I have been passing time singing along to the music or playing random road trip games. His phone started ringing, so I turned down the radio as he answered.
“Hello!” He said.
“Chris! Honey! You guys almost here?” I could hear his moms voice through the phone. He smiled and replied.
“Yeah mom, we’re about 20 minuets away.” I heard here start taking again this time on speaker so I could hear too.
“Oh good! We’re all so excited to meet Y/N. You’ve talked her up so much we can’t wait.” My eyes widened as I looked over as Chris. Great so he’s made me out to be some amazing woman and I’m going to have to disappoint his family by not being as great as Chris described. I shook my head and closed my eyes resting against the head rest. The conversation ended and the ride was silent for a few minutes.
“Y/N? Belle? What’s up.” My mouth twitched up at the sound of my favorite nickname Chris had for me. Belle means beautiful or beauty in French.
“How exactly did you talk me up to your family?” I asked, still looking forward.
“I told them that you’re the most beautiful, talented, kindhearted, trustworthy, loyal, hilarious woman I’ve ever met and told them how Dodger likes you more than he likes me most of the time.” I laughed at the last sentence, looking behind me to see Dodger’s ears perked up at the sound of his name.
“I wish you hadn’t of talked me up so much, now I have a standard I have to live up to.” I said, now looking directly at him. He was quiet for a moment before speaking again.
“I didn’t tell them anything that wasn’t true, sweetheart. And there’s no standard. They’re going to love you for you and that’s it.” Chris said turning into the neighborhood of his home. “Besides don’t even think Scott hasn’t said you were the most amazing person on Earth, it’s a good thing he’s gay or else I’d be worried he’s trying to steal my woman.”
The vehicle came to a stop in front of the two story house that was decorated for Christmas.
“Here we are.” Chris started. “Hey look at me.” I turned and met his blue eyes, almost immediately claiming. “It’s going to be okay, they’ll love you. And I can’t wait to see my nieces and nephews reaction. Especially my niece, she’s tired of all the boys.” He said making me laugh. We got out of the truck, Chris going around to left Dodger out, who ran straight for the door. Chris grabbed my hand as we walked up the concrete path to the front door. He reached for the door nob, opening it slightly before Dodger opened it the rest of the way from running inside. We stepped into the warm house and the first thing I noticed was all the family pictures hanging just in the entrance alone. I leaned in to look at a picture of Chris and all his siblings from when they were very young.
“Oh my gosh you used to be so cute!” I said bumping my hip into Chris’. He rolled his eyes and walked us further in to the house.
“They must be outside, normal it’s a lot louder than this.” He said leading us to the backyard, where his whole family was gathered around an outdoor fire place wrapped in blankets and drinking something out of a mug. He opened the door and all eyes were on us. His mom got the biggest smile on her face as she got up and met us half way in the yard. I was engulfed in a tight warm hug, hearing Chris’ mom squeal in excitement.
“Y/N! It’s so amazing to finally meet you! Chris has told us so much about you! You’re so much more beautiful in person!” She pulled me into a hug again.
“I’m Lisa by the way!” She said pulling away for the last time. Before I could even start to speak, Scott was there pulling me into a hug.
“I’m next,” he said. “God I feel like it’s been to long since I saw you! Cmon meet the rest of the family!” He dragged me away from Chris and over to where everyone is gathered in a circle around the fire.
“You already met mom, so that’s our dad Bob, that’s Carly, Shannon, grandma, grandpa, and that’s Stella, and that’s Miles.” I said hi and greeted everyone.
Time flew by fast, we had a lovely dinner and that consisted of embarrassing stories about Chris, then his mom brought out dessert. We ended up out back once again around the bonfire, just listening to the fire crackle. I sat on the double bench with Chris, cuddled to his side because it was freezing out, Chris’s sister Carly had to find me another jacket to wear over the jacket and sweater I was already wearing because I got so cold. His mom Lisa spoke up.
“So Y/N, how did you and Chris meet?” I turned my attention to her and smiled.
“Well, we met on set for winter soldier, but didn’t start dating until the end of filming for Civil War.” I explained. She nodded her head.
“Can I ask, how old are you?” My stomach dropped, I knew this question was going to come up at some point but I was still unprepared. There’s quite an age gap between Chris and I. Like 10 or so years.
“Uh, I’m 24.” I said, not surprised by the shocked looks on his families faces.
“Oh wow,” his dad said. “I thought you were older than that. You are so much more mature than any 24 year old I’ve ever met.” I smiled slightly, Chris noticing my shift in mood. The conversations moved on quickly after and finally it got late enough to head inside for bed.
“Your family hates me, except for Scott maybe.” I said to Chris once we were in the safety of his childhood bedroom. He looked at me like I was crazy.
“What? Belle that’s ridiculous, my mom was just telling me how much she liked you better than any other girlfriend I’ve had.” He said settling into bed. I rolled my eyes.
“Yeah that was probably before they found out how old I was.” I mumbled, changing into the t shirt and leggings I brought to sleep in.
“They don’t care about that babe, they care more about you as a person, and I think you’ve got the seal of approval whether you know it or not.” He said, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me to his chest once I settled in bed. I huffed and closed my eyes.
“I love you.” He whispered into my hair before closing his eyes and sleeping as well. I mumbled a “Love you more” and fell asleep.
I woke up in an empty bed the next morning, and the smell and pancakes and bacon downstairs. When I checked the time I saw that it was close to 10:30, so I decided just to change into my clothes for today. I slipped on my jeans and the New York University hoodie I packed and tied my hair up in a quick bun before heading downstairs. As soon as I walked into the kitchen I saw Chris and Scott at the stove doing the pancakes and the bacon and his mom was at the counter cutting strawberries and bananas. She was the first one to see me, immediately putting her knife down and wiping her hands off on the apron she wore, before walking over to me greeting me with a tight, warm hug.
“Good morning Y/N! How’d you sleep?” She asked. I followed her to the counter and stood there watching as she got back to cutting the fruit.
“Morning, I slept great.” I said with a yawn.
“She not much of a morning person mom, in fact I’m surprised she’s talking to anyone at all, I don’t even get that much out of her in the morning.” Chris laughed. I glared at him, smiling at his mom.
“He’s being dramatic, is there anything I can do to help?” I asked.
“If you’d like you could start a pot of coffee, I asked Scott to do it first but he obviously ignored me.” She said with a smile. I walked over to the coffee machine and started brewing the grounds.
“Alright boys,” I heard his mom speak up. “Go find your father and sisters and the other little ones and tell them we’re ready.” Chris and Scott nodded walking out of the kitchen. Then I was just me and Lisa.
“Y/N?” Turning, I was met with a very worried looking Lisa.
“Yeah what’s wrong?” I asked, genuinely concerned.
“I just want you to know, me and Bob didn’t mean to make you feel like we were judging you on your age, we were definitely surprised, but like Bob said, you’re so mature for your age. We have really enjoyed having you around and hopefully you’ll stick around for a little while.” She said.
“Thank you, I’ve really enjoyed my stay here. And trust me, I plan on sticking around for a long while.” I said making her and I both chuckle.
“Good I’m glad, the most important thing for us all is to see Chris happy, and I don’t know if you know much about his past relationships, but he’s had some pretty bad girlfriends. So to see the way his face lights up whenever he looks at you, or when you walk into a room, is all that matters.” This time I had tears in my eyes. I nodded and pulled her into a tight hug of my own.
“Thank you” I whispered. She squeezed me back and we stayed there for a few more seconds until everyone came into the kitchen.
“Woah, what’d we miss?” Chris said. We stopped hugging and got back to work.
“Oh nothing,” Lisa started. “Just a mother, future daughter-in-law moment.” She winked at Chris making his face flush red. I started laughing at his reaction announced the coffee was ready, while making myself a cup.
All of us managed to fit at the dinner table to eat. I was squished between Chris and his nephew Miles, who’s favorite phrase whenever his mom offered him any of the fruit was “I don’t wike it”. It was honestly very cute.
“So NYU?” Bob asked me pointing at my sweatshirt. “You grow up in New York?” I shook my head swallowing the bite of pancake I had.
“No, I was actually born and raised in Arizona. I started college there at ASU then moved to NYU once I changed my major to theatre and performing arts. I’ve been living there since I was 19 though.” I explained.
“Wow young age for someone to be living in their own.” He commented. I nodded.
“Yeah but luckily my scholarship from ASU transferred over completely so most everything was paid for. And I had a couple small films I was in that helped buy all the extras.” He shook his head, smiling at Chris.
“You got yourself a smart, independent one, hold on to her.” I felt Chris squeeze my leg under the table and I smiled.
The visit was over sooner than I expected, we had to head back to New York for a Christmas party at Sebastian’s. We loaded everything in the truck and said our goodbyes to the family before taking off. I sighed and sunk down in my seat, closing my eyes.
“What’s up?” Chris asked. I shook my head smiling at him.
“Honestly nothing, that went a lot better than I thought.” I said smiling.
“See, I told you! But you never listen!” He laughed, making me chuckle.
The drive seemed to go by a lot quicker than before, and soon we were finally home.
Chris unlocked the apartment door and Dodger bounded in, immediately going to his bed. We both collapsed on the couch and sat in silence for a bit.
“We should get ready to head to Seb and Katie’s tonight for Christmas Eve.” Chris said patting my knee. I nodded and got up, heading to our bedroom. An hour and a half before we were supposed to leave, I was standing it the bathroom curling my hair when Chris walked in and stood in the doorway. I smiled at him as I watched him watch me and dropped my last piece of curled hair.
“What’s up?” I asked him.
“Nothing, just watching my favorite view.” He said and I rolled my eyes.
“I also have something for you,” he said and pulled out a small white gift bag.
I furrowed my eyebrows and turned to face Chris and grab the bag out of his hands. Inside was a small black box with a white bow wrapped around it. I looked up at him and saw him smile. I unwrapped the bow and opened the box, inside was another, smaller box. I rolled my eyes and opened that box. Suddenly, I was staring down at a ring. A big, shiny ring. With wide eyes I looked up at Chris
“Is this for real?” I asked him. He nodded.
“Will you marry me?” He asked. With tears running down my face I nodded and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him. He pulled away and grabbed the room, placing it on my finger. This time he pulled me in for a kiss. Merry Christmas to me.

My Little Girl
I just snorted hours worth of Aizawa being a father or a father figure and I mean, as someone with daddy issues its my time to SHINE
Sadly there will be no Y/N here I’m still trying to figuring out how to write in that style lmao
Warnings: The feelings of being uneeded are strong with this one (angst..??) ALSO ITS REALLY BAD BECAUSE I DID THIS ON MY PHONE (my fingers are DYING)
Shinsou leans against the stairwell, waiting for Aizawa to be done with scolding his class. Once again they snuck out of the dorms to try and figure out what Aizawa does on his free-time. Only a select few knew why this tired man was consistently running home after school whenever he got the chance.
“Eri you can’t run down the hallways!” Mirio calls after Eri, she held a flower crown and passed by Shinsou, not batting an eye when he tried to grab her. She flings open the door with a wide smile.
“If this happens again,” Aizawa turns to the door to see the little girl and glances to Mirio in confusion, “Eri...why?”
Aizawa gives a warning glare to the class before turning his attention to the girl, he walks over and leans down to match her height, in the corner of his eye he notices Shinsou and another girl hiding behind his leg. Aizawa’s eyes widen a bit but he quickly covers his surprise and picks Eri up.
“Eri made this! I was told not to run but we waited by the gate and you didn’t come out,” Eri rambles placing the crown on his head. The class stiffens, trying not to burst into laughter.
Aizawa sighs and makes quick eye contact to the little girl clinging to Shinsou’s leg. He turns to the class and rolls his eyes, “I’ll be finishing the discussion with you tonight.”
The class cheers and everyone jumps out of their seat, some running up to say hi to Eri and Mirio while others make their way to the dorms. The little girl clinging to Shinsou starts to tremble when she sees everyone pour out of the doors.
“Hey,” Shinsou gives a small smile, looking down at the girls jet-black eyes that were starting to water, “Should we go on ahead?”
The girl nods slowly, Shinsou hoists her up and covers her head with his jacket. It’s a well known fact that she can’t handle crowds well and will often freeze up when she can’t figure out whats going to happen, “I-I wanted to surprise daddy with the flower crown too but...I couldn’t calculate the outcome”
Shinsou laughs, “You came inside the building this time! It’s a big improvement.”
She lifts her head up slightly, causing the jacking to fall a little bit. Looking at the floor she starts to count each tile in her head, trying to calculate the steps it takes to get to the faculty office.
“I’m not the only one seeing a kid in Shinsou’s arms...right?” Kirishima whispers to Bakugou. The two of them look at her and slightly tilt their head, trying to get a better look at her face. Only for the pair to enter the faculty office before anything else could be seen.
“Is that my little angel?!” Hizashi beams running over and prying her out of Shinsou’s arms. Shinsou takes his jacket and tosses it on the empty desk, rolling his eyes when Hizashi starts tossing the girl in the air.
“S-Shin I-I,” She starts to cry, unable to handle the sudden switch.
“Oh no baby I’m sorry,” Hizashi stops and pats her head giving her a warm smile. She reaches for Shinsou, squirming out of President Mic’s arms. He sighs in defeat, handing her over.
“I knew you would be too rough with her,” Shinsou sighs, “You know she isn’t Eri.”
The little girl snuggles into Shinsou’s neck, slowly calming down. Moments later the door opens and Aizawa, Eri and Mirio joins the three of them. Aizawa is still holding Eri although now the crown has shifted, almost falling off of his head.
“Is daddy here?” The little girl whispers to Shinsou.
Shinsou sits on one of the chairs and shifts the girl so her head would be on his other shoulder, “Mhm,” he answers.
Aizawa glances over to Shinsou and his only daughter, he could only give a small smile in their direction before Eri said something to him, causing him to explain things to her with Mirio.
“I’m happy for Eri,” The little girl mumbles, tightening her grip on Shinsou’s shirt.
“Why?” Shinsou asks. He starts to draw small circles on her back and slightly moves to chair side to side.
“I mean Daddy is giving her so much love!” She says this a bit louder than she meant to, causing everyone in the room to go silent. Noticing the quick silence she starts to panic, “I-I get it too! I’m not mad or anything I’m just happy for her yknow? She had to go through so much and I never had to go through anything like she did so I’m happy shes getting love! P-Plus even if I do get lonely which is n-never! But if I ever did I could j-just come to you!”
Hizashi gives a worried look to Aizawa, “Angel, you’re allowed to ask for your dad you know that right?”
“I can always switch you spots!” Eri grins.
The girl lifts her head, and slowly turns to her father. Aizawa has a confused yet worried look. He tilts his head, wanting her to give an answer. She quickly turns away and hugs Shinsou harder, “I was just being selfish! I’m fine with how things are.”
“Are you sure?” Aizawa asks, raising an eyebrow. Seeing him hold Eri, always made his daughter a bit upset. Aizawa was already a busy man, he had many things to do as a pro-hero but he was also a teacher at U.A who rarely came home. Even before Eri came into the picture she didn’t spend a lot of time with her father. Her mother was out of the picture and she would just stay at the house most times until her father came home to receive the attention. It used to be her in those arms everyday...not Eri.
She understood Eri’s situation and was very nice about sharing all of her things with her. Yet, she couldn’t help but feel a bit lonely when the little amount of attention she got was quickly used for Eri. Because she also possessed a quirk cancelling quirk like her father, she was told to use it on Eri if a problem were to arise. It was the only thing her father asked of her, ever. So she took it very seriously, by never leaving her side and following her everywhere. Even if it meant watching her dad choose Eri over her.
The little girl nods, “I’m positive!”
Aizawa returns his attention to Eri, scolding her lightly about her behavior earlier. Meanwhile his daughter squeezes harder and harder against Shinsou.
“Shin,” The little girl mumbles.
“Mm?” Shinsou continues to rub light circles on her back.
The girl lets out a small almost inaudible sigh, “I’m glad I can hug you”
This was picked up on Hizashi who sat closer to the pair now, his heart broke at the sight. Shinsou leaned his head on hers and starts to rub her back.
“Of course,” he states.
“I’ll be taking Eri back,” Aizawa says. He looks over to Shinsou and his daughter, “Cmon.”
“They’ll join you later,” Hizashi speaks up with a smile. Aizawa raises his eyebrows in confusion but only nods and leaves the room.
She doesn’t speak again until they could no longer hear Eri’s giggles echoing in the hallway.
“I’m sorry ‘Zashi,” The little girl says.
“Angel you didn’t do anything wrong,” Hizashi quickly reassures.
“I’m selfish,” The little girl snuggles into Shinsou more, relishing his comforting scent and heat.
“Enough of that,” Shinsou grunts.
“It’s true though,” She smiles to herself, “I know Eri didn’t have the love she needed for a long time. Yet here I am...wanting to take her away from Dad. I’m supposed to look out for her when Dad can’t and I’m jealous. She deserves that spot, while I don’t. It’s weird not running into his arms,” her voice cracks as tears pool in her eyes, “I’m being childish for wanting to be in his arms. It’s not my turn yet, I’ve had his love for years and now it’s time for me to let Eri have it. I know this yet I— I can’t stop wanting to be the first one he says ‘I’m home’ to. I can’t stop wanting to run to him when he comes home like I used to,” she whimpers, “I...I cant stop myself from wanting him to hold me when I have a nightmare. I have them so often yknow? I wake up to crawl into his arms and yet they’re already full.”
“Oh baby,” Hizashi frowns, “you know he would drop everything for you right?”
“He’s a busy man,” she cries, “I-I can’t trouble him, I already do that by existing.”
The room goes into silence once more, Shinsou and Hizashi look at each other, not knowing what to say. Shinsou holds her tighter, allowing her to squeeze him harder in return.
“You know he loves you,” Shinsou whispers to her.
“It’s not my turn for his love,” she chuckles, trying to wipe her tears away.
“Don’t say that baby,” Hizashi says softly.
“I’ve calculated the outcome already! Eri and Dad grow close and sooner or later he doesn’t need me anymore,” she squeezes Shinsou’s shirt, “and then Eri will be happy! She’ll have all the love in the world.”
Hizashi turns to the door, Aizawa leans against the doorpost, arms crossed. His face held a very serious expression as he processed his daughters words.
“If you could ask your dad anything,” Hizashi says glancing back to her, “what would it be?”
The little girl lifts her head slightly, “I want him to..love me?”
As soon as she was done, she was taken out of Shinsou’s lap. Aizawa held her tightly, pushing her head on his shoulder, “I’m taking her now.”
“W-Wait,” the girl starts to panic, squirming around in her dads arms, “I’m sorry!”
“Enough,” Aizawa snaps. He carries her to a secluded part of one of the hallways and sets her down. Staring at her puffy eyes he gently smiles, “I love you.”
The girl shakes her head, “What about Eri? Where is she?”
Aizawa leans down to match her height, “She’s fine.”
“Shouldn’t you be with—”
She was cut off by Aizawa pulling her into his chest, “I love you,” he squeezes her, “I love you more than the world, more than my job, more than my students...I love you more than anything.”
“H-Huh?” The girl freezes.
“I’m sorry,” Aizawa kisses the top of her head, “I’m sorry I didn’t see your pain baby, I should have known better.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong,” The little girl mumbles.
“You don’t have to be so strong by yourself,” He pulls her away to smile at her, “You can always call for me and I’ll come running,” Aizawa liters her face in quick kisses, “no matter what I’m doing...I’ll come running”
The girl wipes her face, “you’re being weird.”
“Oh? I thought you wanted my attention,” Aizawa smirks before repeating the action, “I. Love. You.” He said between each kiss.
“Ew,” the girl giggles, “Your chin is scratching me.”
“I have to let you know that I love you!” Aizawa grins.
“Okay okay I get it,” the girl hugs Aizawa, “I missed you.”
Aizawa hums, “I’ve missed you too baby.”
. . .
Eri and The little girl stare at the 1-A door, Mirio was right behind them, silently encouraging them to open the door.
“I promise he won’t be mad,” Mirio says placing his hand on the little girl.
Eri slams open the door and runs up to Aizawa who was about to hand out packets, “Eri’s here!”
Aizawa looks over to Mirio, “I can’t keep having my class-”
He stops talking when he notices his daughter wearing a miniature version of his hero costume, she slowly took a couple steps into the classroom and stared at him.
“Oh my god,” Kirishima squeals.
“Wait who is that-” Izuku whips out his journal.
“D-Da-Daddy!” The little girl spits out, covering her face in embarrassment.
“DADDY?!” The class shouts. The little girl jumps and quickly hides behind the large desk.
“Say it!” Mirio grins. The little girl slowly comes out of her hiding spot and faces her dad again, he hasn't moved from his spot, still in shock from what he is seeing his daughter wear.
“I-If you’re g-g-gonna become a hero! Y-you don’t have time for such l-leisurely events!” She points to him.
Aizawa’s face cracks into a smile (which terrifies the class) and swoops to pick his daughter up, “Who dressed you so cute hm?”
“I was told by ‘Zashi that you would like it,” the girl beams.
“I never knew Aizawa had a kid,” Izuku mumbles writing things down.
“She will totally be one sexy babe in 10 years,” Mineta giggles.
Sadly, Mineta was strug up in the classroom by Aizawa.
Left alone until the next day.

Chapter 1 can be found in my Masterlist
“So he comes in and just stands there for a few seconds looking at Daphne, and Michael and I were freaking out . . .No, she didn’t notice. We had to tap her on the shoulder” I heard Chloe say at her desk.
It’s been two days after Harry introduced himself to Chloe and Michael. So far, I heard Chloe tell our interaction with Harry to the whole office and seven times over the phone. I swear if I heard the story one more time I was going to duck tape her mouth.
“I think she looked surprised. I was surprised myself” Chloe continued. “Who wouldn’t be?”
I got up from my desk and walked over to hers. I crossed my arms seeing she was on the phone.
“Well he knows where we work now and . . . Wait Daphne’s here. You want to tell my sister what happened with Harry, Daph?” She asked.
“Sure” I said, giving a fake smile as I was handed the phone. I brought it  to my ear.
“Hey Anna!” I said. “Please don’t tell anyone I met harry okay? Bye”
I slammed the phone back down into its slate.
“What was that for?!?!” Chloe asked in frustration.
“I don’t need to be associated with Harry” I stated. “That includes you not telling anyone”
I walked back to my desk and sat in my chair. Chloe followed me.
“Oh cmon Daph! This is a good thing” She exclaimed. “He really seemed interested in you and it’s not like you dated anyone in a while. Plus if you did it would be good for work”
I can’t believe she was saying this out loud. She had no say in my personal business.
“Why? For attention?” I asked, crossing my arms.
“Yes!” She said.
“No then” I disagreed.
“Why?” She asked, throwing her hands up in the air.
“Because I don’t need my life to become more complicated than it is already” I explained. “And if you can’t tell at all, I like my privacy”
Our coworker, Ray entered the cubicles.
“Privacy for what? Porn related?” Ray asked.
“Eww” Chloe and I said at the same time.
It was often Ray would discuss sexual matters with us. It was also often of him to meddle in other people’s business. Michael and I referred him as the dirty minded male version of Chloe.
“Leave her alone” Alyssa said, defending me. “She’s having a hard day”
“What’s hard about meeting Harry Styles? Should we go to the cafe and wait for him?” Ray asked poking fun at me.
“I would take Alyssa’s advice, Ray. Don’t upset a lady” Michael said, standing from his chair and leaning against my cubicle.
I looked down, having a hint of a smile on my lips from Michael’s words.
“Whatever. I have actual useful stuff to do” Ray excused, playing cocky.
“Like what? Coffee runs?” Alyssa asked.
“At least I’m not in the cubicles, I get to work with the big guys” Ray smirked.
“No, you work for the big guys” Alyssa sarcastically said, rolling her eyes at Ray.
I chuckled at Alyssa’s comeback.
“Still not in the cubicles” He pointed out.
“Whatever” Alyssa shrugged.
Ray left us. Chloe sat down at her desk. I turned to Michael.
“Thanks for sticking up for me” I said, smiling. “Appreciate it”
“No problem. I know you’re gonna hate me for asking this . . .” Michael said. “But how did you meet him again?”
I was surprised. I expected Chloe to have already told him. Aside from that, why was he so interested in it?
“You haven’t heard at all from Chloe?” I asked.
“Only bits. Besides I like spending time with you” He said.
I was flattered, blushing.
“Aww same” I nudged him. “I can tell you it after work”
“Sounds like a plan, speaking of a plan-“ Michael said before getting cut off.
“DAPHNE!” We heard someone shout my name.
Our brunette coworker Jill came into the cubicle.
“Yeah?” I asked her.
“Delivery” She said.
“From who?” Chloe asked.
“Don’t know, it’s flowers” Jill said.
Chloe got up and ran to the lounge area where the front desk was. I walked behind her. A bouquet of a mix of red, white and pink flower sat on it. I hoped hey were from my mother and not from Harry.
“They’re so pretty!” Chloe complimented. “There’s also a card with it”
“What does it say?” I asked.
Chloe looked at the card. A grin grew on her face.
“Something other than coffee? From Stranger, Harry” She said.
“Let me see” She took the card and scanned it. “And a phone number”
“Daph! He wants to go out with you!” Chloe said.
“Chloe I told you it’s none of your business” I warned.
“Is too! He knows my name” Chloe stated.
“I told you this already I want nothing to do with him. I don’t even know if I want these flowers” I said, walking back to my desk with the flowers.
I set them on my desk.
“Well you should theyre nice” Chloe suggested.
“Chloe, please just leave the Harry situation alone” I begged.
“Alright. One more thing”
“What?” I asked.
“Your gloss is coming on your teeth” She said.
“Seriously?” I asked her.
“Yeah you should check it out”
“Thanks” I said, taking out a small mirror I had in my bag.
“Welcome” Chloe walked away.
Two hours. Two hours Harry’s flowers have been on my desk. I couldn’t do my work. Not with the flowers reminding me of what Chloe said earlier of Harry wanting to go out with me. I looked at the flowers.
Tumblr media
I would love to go out with him. Truly, he seems like an actual gentleman. I just don’t see myself in his world and his in mine.
I heard Chloe speak again. Not in my head this time. I heard her speak out loud.
“Hi! This is Daphne!” I heard Chloe say.
What the hell was she up to?
“I had flowers sent to me by Harry” She continued. “Yeah we met in a cafe”
Harry. It hit me. She was calling him. I looked back to flowers. The card was missing.
I got up immediately from my chair to her desk. I tried pulling the phone she was speaking through away from her. She had a strong grip on it.“
Chloe . . . Give me the phone” I ordered.
“This is Daphne bye!” She said quickly before letting go of the phone.
I slammed the phone down in its slate, ending the call.
“Are you insane?!?” I screamed at her.
“Sorry” She said, almost scared. “I had to. You need a boyfriend”
“How many times have I told you?” I  asked her. “It’s none of your business!”
“I know. I’m sorry” Chloe apologized.
She looked down and brought her hand to her mouth, trying to hide her lips. She had a bit of blush in her cheeks. She trying to hide her smile. She wasn’t sorry. She was proud of what she did. I wasn’t going to accept it.
“Sorry? How can you say sorry if you planned it?” I asked, crossing my arms. “This is why no one tells you shit!” I snapped.
Chloe looked back up to me. She looked as she was in disbelief. Disbelief that I was the one to tell her the truth harshly when I was perceived as the kind sweet one to her.
“She’s right Chloe” Michael said. “About everything”
I looked to him and then back to Chloe.
“Just leave me the hell alone Chloe” I said.
I walked back to my desk. I looked at the flowers again, but this time in annoyance and hatred. I took the flowers and walked to the nearest trash bin. I threw the flowers down in the bin, being gone of them forever. I walked back to my desk and sat down in my chair. I sighed, running my hands through my hair. I wished I didn’t meet Harry in the first place.
Chloe didn’t apologize yet. I didn’t expect her to. Her pride and ego was more important than my friendship. I somewhat cooled down since our little fight yesterday. I became determined to avoid Harry at all costs. I even stopped going to my favorite cafe. Now I just have to throw everything Harry sends to work of all places. My desk’s phone rang. Probably an organization I reached out to a few days ago wanting to talk to me. I picked up the phone and held it to my ear. I smiled, trying to be positive.
“Daphne here!” I cheered into the phone.
“Not stranger anymore?” I heard a familiar British man say through the phone.
Harry’s familiar voice. I shuddered. Shivers traveled down my spine. I stood up and quickly looked around the cubicle to see if Chloe was nearby. There was no one near except Alyssa.
“Harry. How did you get this number?” I asked him.
Alyssa’s head turned to me. I know she told me to stay away from him.
“My manager said yeh called” Harry spoke.
I breathed a small sigh of relief. He didn’t actually hear Chloé and I fighting.
“I see yeh got the flowers” Harry brought up.
“Yeah. I did!” I said into the phone as I sat down. “They’re wonderful. Thanks.”
“Happy yeh like them. Did yeh read the letter?” He asked me.
“Of course. I have to decline however” I said, looking to Alyssa.
I was panicking inside. I usually had no trouble saying no to guys whenever they flirted with me at a bar. Harry, was not a guy I met at the bar. Alyssa nodded, giving me a thumbs up. I continued to play it cool.
“Why? Anything wrong?” Harry asked, sounding a bit concerned.
“No, nothing. I’m just not looking to date anyone now” I said, being somewhat honest.
“It’s not a date” Harry assured. “At least to me’h”
I let out a little laugh at his stubbornness. He was persistent, I’ll give him that.
“Is it?” I asked, playing with the phone cord.
“Yeh. Its two friends getting to know each other. I’m interested in getting to know more of you” He explained.
“Friends” I stated, smiling. “Whatever happened to stranger?”
“Guess we have to find out” He said.
He’s flirting with me. I imagined him saying that with a smirk on his lips. I was torn. Chloe’s words ran through my mind. If I say yes, I could tell him I didn’t want nothing to do with him. If no, he would continue to chase after me. Exactly like he did in the cafe. What did I have to lose?
“Fine” I gave in.
“Wonderful. Tomorrow, lunch?” He asked.
Chloe suddenly walked back in into the cubicle to her desk. I had to finish this conversation quickly before she found a way into it.
“Yeah. 12:15?” I asked.
“I’ll pick yeh up” Harry offered.
“You don’t have to” I said, being flattered.
Chloe looked over to me.
“I want to. Be a pleasure” Harry said.
“Alright. I have to go” I said. “See you tomorrow”
“Goodbye Daphne” I heard Harry say to me.
I set the phone down in its slate. I refused to look at Alyssa and Chloe. I was expecting both excitement and disappointment from them.
“Harry?” Alyssa asked.
I slowly titled my head to her.Chloe walked up to us.
“Harry?!?” Chloe asked with her eyes lighting up. “He called back?”
“Don’t” I stated. “Don’t start”I exited the cubicles.
“I’m such a good friend sometimes” I heard Chloe say as I went.
I rolled my eyes at her remark. I can’t wait for this to spread all over the office,
“You look nice today” Michael pointed out to me.
We both just came into work, putting our jackets in old lockers the office chose to keep. I haven’t told Michael that I was having lunch with Harry today. Partly, why I carefully selected my outfit today.
“Do I?” I asked him, smiling.
“It’s a cute outfit” He complimented me.
“Its just a red shirt, blue jeans and some black boots” I detailed. “It’s not a dress”
“Looks like you’re trying to impress someone” Michael stated.
I laughed. I would never try to impress someone I liked.
“Someone?” I asked, squinting my eyes at him. “The only person I dress up is for me”“Really?” Michael asked, not believing me.
“Because Chloe said you had a date with ‘Harry’”
Tumblr media
“Oh God! It’s not a date! It’s just two friends hanging out” I clarified.
“I thought it was strangers” Michael crossed his arms at me.
“I want it to be back to strangers” I said.
I shut my locker and walked to the cubicles. Michael mirrored my actions.
“You broke your promise by the way” Michael said, catching up to me.
“Promise?” I asked, confused. “What promise?”
“You telling me about the Harry thing” He added.
“Ugh . . . I forgot. I’ll tell you later. Pinky promise?” I asked, bringing my pinky finger up to him.
“Alright” Michael said, pinky promising me. “I’m going to see what the boss has in store today”
“Okay” I said. “Tell me if it’s important”
Michael walked out. I sat down in my chair.
Please let today go quick.
“Chloe, what are you doing?” Alyssa asked.
“Looking for Harry, isn’t it obvious?” Chloe answered.
Excited was an understatement of how Chloe was feeling. When our lunch break started, Chloe farted to the break room. She’s been standing at the window since twelve  looking for Harry. Of course, I tagged along. Alyssa stayed too. I have no idea why.
“Chloe, stop it” I said. “You’re giving off stalker vibes”
“No, I’m not. A stalker would wait forever outside his Greenwich apartment for him to come out” Chloe stated.
“Wait” Alyssa interrupted. “Weren’t you the one who waited outside Nick Jonas’s hotel?”
“He was hot” Chloe defended. “Besides, I was younger”
“Hmmm” Alyssa crossed her arms. “Whatever you say Chloe”
I looked at my phone, checking the time. 12:09 AM. I felt more nervous as each minute passed. Alyssa distracted me with she brought up my interaction with Michael today.
“Michael seemed jealous of you this morning” Alyssa said.
“What?” I asked her.
I didn’t see her around this morning. The only one I saw was Ray.
“This morning. Over your cute outfit” She detailed.
“Okay? Why would he be jealous?” I asked not seeing her point.
“You must be blind. He clearly wants to date you” Alyssa said.
I let out a chuckle.
“Date? I’m not looking to date anyone. Including Michael” I affirmed her.
“Are you sure?” She asked. “Because you seem interested in him”
“It’s not like that” I said. “Michael and I are only friends”
“Just like how Chloe isn’t a stalker?”  Alyssa asked, not believing me.
“HE’S HERE!” Chloe exclaimed. “A black car pulled over”
“Doesn’t mean it’s him” I said to Chloe.
“Come look” She ordered.
Tumblr media
I walked over to the window, peeking through the blinds. I saw the car’s door open. Out stepped Harry, all dressed in black. He looked up, skimming the building. I stepped away from the window.
Tumblr media
“He’s walking in!” Chloe said. “I’ll greet him!”
Chloe ran outside the room, passing Alyssa and I.
“Don’t have sex with him” Alyssa warned me.
I chuckled. Cautious Alyssa, as always.
“Thank you, mother” I teased her.
I walked to the lounge. I knew I was expecting Harry but I was stunned when I saw him talking to Chloe. I never imagined seeing a celebrity stand where I stood almost everyday at work.
“Daph!” Chloe called on me as I approached them. “Harry came”
“I can see. Never imagined to see you here” I said talking to Harry.
“Neither did I” He smiled at me.
I felt a bit weak in the knees, something I wished wouldn’t continue to happen during lunch.
“Well then” I brushed off. “Shall we go?”
