“Hey, meeps,” You hear Hoseok’s voice calling to you from the end of the aisle, his new nickname for you now gaining its own nickname as well. “If sunflower oil is made from sunflowers, and coconut oil is made from coconuts...then baby oil…”

He trails off, raising his eyebrows and giving you a scandalous look as he holds up a bottle of baby oil. For a moment, you just stare at him blankly before sighing and rolling your eyes in amusement. Taking the bottle from him, you place it back down onto the shelf before linking your arm through his.

Thankfully, he lets you direct him back to the little section they have in this makeup and skincare store that’s fully dedicated to Korean beauty. This is one of those strange stores where they have tons of products that are basically on sale yet also have branded stuff alongside it. Not that you cared though; it had the Korean brands you swore by for your skin and you were more than tempted to try out the Japanese beauty stand next to it.

For someone who isn’t particularly bothered about the whole concept of skincare, though you had managed to convince him to at least improve his routine, Hoseok was being a pretty good boyfriend right now. He hadn’t complained about the half an hour you’d spent perusing the makeup to find new stuff to put into your collection and he still wasn’t complaining as you filled your basket with face masks.

If anything, he’d managed to entertain himself quite well.

But you think he was being good purely because you’d gone with him to a concert last night. It had been for one of his favourite bands, Metallica, and he’d ended up with a spare ticket as Jungkook had ended up ill with food poisoning. He had been about to go on his own, but you hadn’t liked the thought of him being lonely so you’d gone with him.

You’d recognised some of the songs they’d played from whenever Hoseok played them in the car or the house but it hadn’t been your scene. Still, it had been fun enough and you’d more than enjoyed seeing Hoseok happy as he’d rocked out to his beloved band.

It did mean that you were exceptionally tired today though as the two of you hadn’t gotten home from the stadium they’d performed in until after 2 am. That had been the closest performance apparently and you’d been shattered, sleeping until well after 11 am. Hoseok had promised you a day of relaxation, which you’d jumped on by asking him to do a full Korean skincare routine with you tonight.

He’d agreed, and you’d eagerly dragged him out to this store to replenish your supplies. The makeup was just because it was there and you couldn’t resist it. Already you were coming up with ideas for looks in your head that you could create and then put onto your Instagram. Moving places had meant that you hadn’t done many looks lately and you were eager to change that.

Especially now that you had a yard to take nice photos in. Hoseok and you had both been working hard on the weekends and evenings to transform the yard from the overgrown mess it had been into something nice. Nothing too amazing or expensive as it wasn’t your own house but nice enough that it made from some pretty aesthetic photos.

Placing a final bottle of moisturiser in your basket, you smile at Hoseok and hold it up proudly. He just looks at you in amusement for a second before smiling back.

“All done! We can go to pay now.” While you pay for all your new stuff, he goes and waits outside for you. Which you discover means he intently window shops at the video game store, getting that look on his face when he wants to do something.

Feeling that your bladder is a little too full right now, you glance over to where the public restrooms are and move over to Hoseok. “You can go in if you want, I’m going to the restroom so I’ll be back in a few minutes.”

He takes your bag for you like the gentleman he is before disappearing inside, immediately making a beeline for the Playstation 4 section. You have a feeling he might be about to drop some money given how interested he’d been in some of the new games that have been released in the last few months.

Any thoughts of games are wiped from your mind very quickly though when you’re on the toilet. The sight of red staining your underwear has your eyes widening in horror as you realise that your period has decided to make an early appearance. For a moment you simply stare, brow creasing before you reach for your bag and grab your phone.

The period app you use says that you shouldn’t have started for another four days and you curse your body for doing whatever it likes. Scowling at the stain, you attempt to clean it before sighing in defeat, acknowledging that at least you were wearing black jeans today.

Another rummage in your bag causes you to find another problem, this one sending ice water running through your veins. Grabbing it and placing it onto your knees, you visually scan through every space and almost pull out the entire contents before letting out a small sound of despair.

You had no tampons.

Cursing to yourself quietly, you finish up and make do with an almost ridiculously large amount of toilet paper. Rushing out, you wash your hands before moving over to the machine that always had condoms, sanitary pads and tampons.

Only to see the ‘sold out’ sign on both the buttons you need. Groaning quietly, you do a little dance of frustration as you realise there are not even any other women in the restroom for you to ask. Not that you would. As if your social anxiety would allow for that!

So instead you have to slink outside and into the game shop, lip jutting out in a slight pout as you become hyper-aware of yourself. Can other people smell the blood? What if you leak through all the toilet paper and it does somehow show through your jeans?! What if you leak through onto a chair!

Hoseok wanted to get something to eat after this and you were dreading having to sit there for ages. Playing with your fingers nervously, you move over to where he’s crouched in front of the PS4 stand. He already has two game cases in his hand and is reading the back of another one, your bag of goodies on the floor between his feet.

Glancing up at you, he grins brightly before showing the cover of one of the cases he’s got.

“Look! The Spider-Man game is on sale! You want to play this, right?” Absentmindedly, you nod. The back of your mind takes in the fact that he’s also got Divinity: Original Sin 2 in his ‘buy’ hand and the other case he’s considering is the Doom remake. You wish that you could let him browse more but the drug store wasn’t close by and you didn’t want to just abandon him suddenly.

Still, the thought of what was going on down below was overwhelming and you found yourself shaking his shoulder slightly.

“Hey, are you done? Can we go?” Reaching down, you take your bag back and stand back as he rises, the crease between his brows letting you know he’s a little confused as to why you’re suddenly rushing him. He knows full well that there’s nothing important you need to do.

Still, though, he doesn’t question it and instead nods slowly. While he goes and pays for the games he’s buying, you go to wait by the entrance. Wrapping your arms around your waist, you realise that the low ache in your back that you’d had for a day or so was one of those early symptoms you got of your period.

Only you hadn’t thought anything about it. Not when you’d spent a few hours last night stood up. You’d just thought it was because you’d done a lot of work in the yard combined with the concert. Apparently not.

You’re pretty much already walking in the direction of the drug store by the time Hoseok comes out, causing him to have to jog to catch up with you. All you can think about is whether or not walking faster or slower would make things worse.

“Woah, hey, where are we going?” Hoseok asks, matching his speed to yours. You’re just thankful that there are not too many people out shopping today because it would only increase your stress levels if there was a big queue that you had to wait in or something.

“Just, to this store.” Admittedly, you’re not being very open and honest right now. But you’re embarrassed. Hoseok is fully aware of your periods and that they’re very much a thing that happens. They’d become a little more irregular recently as you’d had a copper IUD put in around a month before moving in with him.

Nothing drastic or anything, but then again they were also sometimes longer and a little heavier than you were used to when you were on the pill. It wasn’t exactly something you enjoyed talking about with anyone though; Soyeon and Chungha were pretty open about this kind of stuff but you had always mostly stayed quiet whenever they talked about it.

Which was silly. They were women who fully understood what you were going through and Hoseok understood that it was a monthly event. So it wasn’t like he’d be shocked to find out or anything. If anything, you’d probably done a bit of a bad job in explaining some things to him as you’d always got too shy whenever he’d asked things.

That was bad, you were well aware. But you’d only really got comfortable talking about sexual things with him. You knew that there were guys who thought it was gross that women bled for a week or so. Hoseok had never made those kinds of comments, but still. You were a work in progress.

“We’ve already been in here, why are you dragging me like Jason Voorhees is running after us with a knife?” He whines when you enter the store. You’re not surprised he’s confused because he’s right, you had come in here earlier and picked up what you needed. Still, though, he follows close by.

“I thought we didn’t need anything else.” Comes from him next, his lip pouting and you get the sense that he wanted to spend more time in the game store. A rush of guilt and shame washes over you, causing you to grip his hand even tighter as you shuffle awkwardly in place for a moment.

Finally in the store though, you realise just how silly you’re being with him. It’s not like he’s going to get outraged or upset. And you’re sure he’d have been much more willing to come along if he hadn’t been dragged along half the street with no idea what was happening.

Leaning into him, you cough slightly before swallowing as you feel yourself go hot with anxiety.

“My period started.” You whisper, keeping the words quiet enough so that he can hear them without having anyone else overhear. Though the rational part of your mind knew that you shouldn’t give a flying fuck what anyone else thought. It was a natural, bodily function and all that.

Your mind has never quite done things rationally though.

Hoseok has heard you though, you can tell by the way his head tilts to the side ever so slightly. But his expression is blank for a moment before his brow creases in obvious confusion, lips pursing as he contemplates what you’ve just told him.

“Okay...so why are we here?” Annnnd there it is. That famed male obliviousness to female problems. You couldn’t get annoyed at him though, not when he was good with you on everything else. He was cute.

“It’s early? And I have nothing to use. So I need to buy some.” His face changes immediately when he understands finally, mouth curving into an ‘o’ shape as he lets out a noise of recognition. It then contorts into worry for you, his eyes glancing down to your crotch area with wide eyes.

“Wait, so that means you’re...just…” He creates a rushing gesture with his hands, imitating a waterfall as he makes a ‘whoosh’ noise with his mouth. It’s a little too loud for your liking and you hiss at him, poking at his stomach before quickly pulling him over to the menstrual health aisle.

“I’ve used some toilet paper but it probably won’t last. It’s come on pretty hard and fast today. Please don’t laugh.” You beg him and his face sobers immediately, eyes darting over your own as he takes in your distressed appearance. Licking at his lips, he inhales deeply before nodding.

“Okay, you use tampons, right? So like...which ones? You never keep the box.” Automatically he starts to look over all the boxes of tampons; staring at the brands, types and absorption levels like he’s reading signs in Mandarin or something. It makes you want to laugh, despite the situation.

You appreciate his eagerness to help though, even when he points at random boxes with absolutely zero knowledge of what it was.

“What’s the difference in the brands? Is there a difference? Or is it like...when you buy those store brand biscuits and realise they taste the same as the branded biscuits only to find out that they’re made in the same factory and just relabelled?” That makes you snort with amusement, particularly as he’s now holding up a box of Tampax and a store brand to try and see the difference.

He’s not finished yet though, and even though you still feel the urgency to just grab some and run, you can’t help but let him entertain you. Because that’s what he’s doing. You’re not oblivious, you’ve realised over time that if you’re feeling anxious or uncomfortable or shy, Hoseok will often use humour to distract you away from your negativity.

It’s nice, which is why you let him carry on for a minute or so more.

“What are the drops for? And what’s the difference between regular and super? I mean, I think you’re pretty super but is this like...super big or something? Wait, is this plastic?! How does it absorb blood if it’s plastic?” Rolling your eyes at him, you bite your lip to stop the laughter that wants to escape before reaching past him to grab the box you usually buy.

Lifting it, you decide for a quick crash course in tampons. As your boyfriend, you never know when you might need him to run out to the store for some and the last thing you need is him bringing the entirely wrong type back.

“I use Tampax, purely cos it’s just the brand I’ve always used and I’m familiar with it. Super and regular are like the absorption so you’d use a super for the first few days when a period is heaviest. Hence why I’m getting these. The drops are the absorption rating too basically and it’s not plastic, that’s just the applicator that makes it easier to insert.” You say it all pretty quickly, but quietly enough that only he hears.

Not that there’s any need, the store is loud enough that your conversation can’t be overheard and on top of that, there’s no one in this aisle anyway. But Hoseok nods thoughtfully, scanning the front of the box carefully.

“When we get home, I think I need a crash course in periods because I’m feeling pretty useless and dumb right now.” Laughing, you lean up to kiss his cheek quickly before heading in the direction of the cashiers.

“We can do that for you. It’s better to be educated after all. This is where I find out that you have this bizarre knowledge that is unbelievably wrong and I cringe.” Hoseok doesn’t answer back to that, causing you to look back and chuckle at his meek shrug and wince.

“What can I say? I’ve never had a girlfriend long enough to learn and education in high school was terrible. I’m not even gonna try to defend myself.” Humming lightly, you grin at him as you pay before heading out of the store. Looking in the direction of the toilets, you twist your lips as you consider your options.

“You want to eat at that place, right?” You ask, nodding your head towards the Japanese place that was down the opposite end of the street. Hoseok looks that way and nods, confirming his desire to you. Already you can feel your stomach rumble as you imagine the delicious food.

“Okay, we’ll just go there and I’ll go straight to the restroom in there. Come on.” Reaching you, you take his hand and smile up at him, your walk not so hurried now compared to before. Not that you aren’t completely aware of the fact that you’re free bleeding from your vagina right now, but walking faster might just aggravate it more.

You had what you needed, so now you could relax a little more.

“Why are there so many steps in this? Don’t you get bored?” Hoseok mumbles, his words a little slurred due to the fact you’re rubbing serum into his cheeks. He’s already been here for ages in the bathroom as you’d used a cleanser to clean his face before exfoliating and then using toner on some cotton pads.

You could tell that he was amused by the whole situation, even though he’d seen you do this many times before. But it was different experiencing it for himself you supposed. Still, he looked so adorable and you cooed to him, squishing his cheeks even more in amusement.

“No. It’s relaxing. You’re supposed to relax.” That makes him scowl, the expression not nearly as intense as he was going for given you’ve got his lips in the cutest pout. Still, you’re finished with that part so you let him go, laughing as he runs his fingers over his skin.

“I’m not relaxed. More...manhandled.” Scoffing, you roll your eyes as you get to work rubbing the serum you need into your skin, focusing on your eyes. The dark circles beneath them were far too...well dark for your liking.

“Okay, how’s your skin lately? Dry? Oily?” Frowning at you, he twists his lips as he considers your question. He’s been taking better care of his skin than he had been before dating you, but you knew that he still didn’t care that much. Surprisingly though, he has an answer for you.

“Dry?” Nodding to yourself, you reach through your box of face masks and pull out a moisturising one. Handing it over to him, you take your own and rip it open, pulling out the mask and carefully putting it on. Hoseok watches you intently before opening up his mask, his face immediately twisting into a cringe.

“Ewwww, oh my god. Why is it so slimy?!” He whines, holding it over the sink like it’s some monster that might kill him. With the mask on your face, you can’t laugh properly like you want to.

“Stop being a baby and put it on.” With a little more whining, he does so, lining it up and putting it onto his face. What follows is then complaints that it’s also cold and feels weird, causing you to roll your eyes at him once more as you help to smooth out any creases in it.

“Right, we’ve got to keep this on for twenty minutes so let’s go watch some Netflix,” Looking over him, you take in how he still manages to look handsome even with a white sheet mask on. “It’s not fair that you always look so good. Honestly.”

Hoseok just shrugs before licking his lips, his reaction immediate as he registers the foul taste. “Oh fuck me, what the fuck. This tastes fucking vile!”

“...you’re not meant to eat it, babe, they don’t make it for the taste.” He washes his hands in the sink to get rid of the remaining residue before following you out to the couch in the living room, Netflix still paused on the large television screen. Kasumi is curled up on her cat tree, fluffy body small as she sleeps quietly.

For around ten minutes, neither of you speak as you continue to watch Warrior Nun. It’s surprisingly got both your attention hooked, so you’re a little surprised when Hoseok suddenly speaks up and distracts you.

“Hey...I know this is a weird time to talk about this but after your whole period thing today it reminded me. So, I’ve been thinking lately. You definitely don’t want kids...right?” He looks at you and you get the impression he would raise his brow if he could. When you nod in response, he blows out a breath slowly.

“Okay...how would you feel if I said I wanted to get a vasectomy? I mean, I know you’ve said you don’t want kids but there’s always a chance that you might and a vasectomy is pretty final. Despite what people say.” Now it’s your for your expression to be mostly hidden by your face mask, your eyes widening until your eyelashes are uncomfortably touching the edges of the holes.

“You want that? I thought guys normally got all weirded out at that prospect. And I don’t want kids, ever. Full stop. Are you sure?” Of all the things you were going to be discussing tonight, you did not expect it to be this. It’s almost amusing that Hoseok has decided right now is the time for something so serious, when you both look so silly.

“I do. I just...I don’t want to risk a pregnancy and I know you’re scared of that too. Also, it’d put less stress on you, I know most birth control is usually aimed at women except for condoms and it’s a lot easier for me to get a vasectomy than for you to get anything done.” That makes you snort in acknowledgement, shifting on the couch until you pull your leg up and wrap your arms around it.

“Yeah, because god forbid a woman not want to fulfil her natural duty and pop out a kid, right?”

“I’ve been looking into it, I’m pretty sure I could get one. If not, I’ll just talk the doctor’s ear off until they let me. Because it’s gonna happen. It’s way easier and less stressful than anything you have to do.” His dual concern for not wanting to cause an accidental pregnancy that neither of you wanted along with not wanting the burden to fall too heavily on you warms you, causing you to reach out and grasp his hand tightly as you squeeze at it.

“Is it easy? Or quick?”

“Apparently. Some guys say it doesn’t hurt at all, others said it hurts. But...I’m pretty sure I want it. I just wanted to check with you that you’d be okay with the idea too. As I said, it’s final.” Hoseok smiles at you as best he can, causing you to shuffle a little closer to him. You’d like to rest your head against his shoulder but you’d just get it covered in face mask gunk.

“I mean, it’s your body. It doesn’t have anything to do with me.” Pointing this out to him, you look up and tilt your head, your statement almost a question.

It makes him sigh and focus on your hands, shifting them until he could interlink his fingers with your own. You let him do so, figuring he should probably be taking the lead in this conversation. It is about him after all.

“We’re in a relationship. A serious relationship and this decision would affect both of us. It’s cutting off the chance for biological kids, despite people saying you might be able to reverse it. I feel you should have a say too.” Nodding slowly, you hum lightly as you consider his words carefully.

“Well, if you want it then I’ll support you completely. I never want children so you don’t have to worry about that. It’s your decision, but I just want to make sure you think it over properly and do research, okay? Don’t go rushing into it.” That makes him snort in amusement.

“Meeps, if there’s one thing you should know by now; it’s that men do not take decisions regarding their dick and balls lightly. You can be damn sure I’m going to be 100% in my decision if I’m going to let someone come near my balls with a scalpel or somet.” The way he says this is so matter of fact that you can’t help but laugh, the sound not as big or bright as you’d like it to be given you still had your mask on.

“Man, I can’t believe I’m talking about someone knifing my balls while I’m sitting here looking like a dollar store Michael Myers.” Hoseok points at himself, his bemusement clearly obvious despite his poor Halloween costume and you giggle softly.

Reaching out, you run your fingers through his hair that’s currently being held back by a bandana and smile at him softly. “Come on, let’s go get these off and start looking human again.”

Hoseok follows you immediately, already peeling the face mask off and making casual comments about how the mask isn’t as slimy as it had once been. You take off your own and drop it into the small bin in the bathroom, making sure that he does the same.

“Okay, rub it in and pat it dry. Make sure you get the excess to go on your throat and stuff, it’s good for your skin there too.” Hoseok looks in the mirror, his face shining obscenely from the residue leftover and grimaces.

“Ew, this feels...gross,” One hand presses to his skin, rubbing it in and cringing. “Is this what it feels like when I cum on your face?”

The comment is so random that you pause for a moment, all thoughts disappearing as you comprehend what he’s just said. A glance at him makes you realise he’s being completely serious, his expression focused on rubbing his face as you’d told him. It’s moments like this that make you love him even more, the blasé comments he makes that are so funny and yet also x-rated.

“No...not really. That’s more...well it’s not all over, you know? And it’s thicker than this. And I don’t know why I’m explaining this to you. You know what your cum feels like.” A snort from him gives away his bemusement.

“Yeah, but I’ve never smeared it all over my face before.”

“Maybe you should. Experience it for yourself for once. It’s not all that good for you by the way, despite what people say. It has protein but it’s not enough to make it worthwhile or anything, so don’t think I’m going to be asking you for your special facials anytime soon.” Looking away from him, you grab the next item on your routine before looking at him with a smirk.

“Damn, there goes my plan to be self-sufficient. Could’ve made a whole organic spa thing out of it.”

she is the sweetest girlfriend ever! she tries her best to be the perfect girlfriend. sometimes, you wonder how you got so lucky.

wakes you up by planting tiny kisses all over your face. she always gets super giggly when she sees your sleepy and confused expression.

she makes you take lots and lots of photos when you guys go on dates. they’re usually photos of her.

although, you aren’t really complaining because now you have a whole album full of pretty candid photos of Nayeon. there are also a handful of funny ones that you use for playful blackmail against her.

you usually end up in the middle of her disagreements with Jeongyeon, big or small. when this happens, she’ll expect you to take her side. when you don’t, she gets pouty and won’t let you touch her until you take her side.

her laugh is absolutely contagious and you really can’t stop yourself from laughing along with her.

Nayeon loves to hit you when she laughs really hard so your shoulder is constantly sore from all her smacking.

she keeps a pack of muscle relaxants in her cupboard just for you. although, you can’t tell if you should be happy that she’s trying to take care of you, or annoyed because your shoulder is always sore, to the point where she feels the need to keep muscle relaxant stickers.

she LOVES physical affection.

when you guys are alone in your room, she becomes a cuddle monster.

she doesn’t mind displaying PDA but will limit it to hand-holding, hugs, and cheek kisses. anything beyond that stays AT HOME!

so many pet names/nicknames! she finds it super cute when couples have pet names and will bother you until you give her one. sometimes her pet names for you will spawn from a funny memory or it’s just something super sweet/basic.

“Can you pass me my water bottle, love?”

lots of hitting and smacking when she hears your pet name for her: bunny. you say it’s because of her teeth but she whines that you're not being original enough and that her fans already call her that.

is your biggest cheerleader in everything. literally will smother you with compliments and praise.

you never doubt how much she loves you. she always makes sure to remind you and is not afraid to show you just how much she loves you.

it’s always out of the blue, sometimes for no apparent reason. you can never pinpoint when she’ll say it next but you appreciate it nonetheless.

tons of back hugs.

sometimes you guys will argue due to her stubborn nature, but she will always apologize if it’s her fault and try to make it up to you. in turn, she expects the same from you.

if you get mad or annoyed at her, she’ll bring out the aegyo. it’ll either be super ridiculous and make you laugh, or super adorable. either way, it always works on you.

matching couple outfits. so many matching outfits.

you swear she has a problem and there have been many instances where you’ve had to physically hold her back from ordering dozens upon dozens of couple outfits.

“But it’s so cute!”

she can be unexpectedly protective of you. whenever you get hurt, she’s the first one by your side. Nayeon can sometimes be overdramatic and will try to call an ambulance when all you did was scrape your knee.

you usually have to calm her down with loads of kisses and reassurance that you’re okay.

can also be super jealous if you get too close with the other members. Sana once crawled onto your lap and Nayeon refused to talk to the both of you for days.

it's not because she’s insecure or doesn’t trust you, it’s just that she likes to have you to herself. she also likes the feeling of seeing a side of you that others cannot.

all you had to do was treat her to a nice dinner date, whereas Sana had to grovel for forgiveness.

she smiles and laughs the most around you. the members all approve of you because they can see that you really do make her happy.

restaurant bills are always split because neither of you will let the other pay. the only solution would be to split 50/50.

she sometimes worries about not spending enough time with you. her job makes it difficult for you guys to meet up often. you have to reassure her that you love her and that you guys have all the time in the universe.

after all, you are each other’s forever.

YOO JEONGYEON

although she’s known for her strong girl crush image, whenever she’s around you, she becomes a huge softie.

really cannot resist you in anything. if you ask for it, she will give it to you! although it’s mostly just you asking for hugs and kisses

she’s super protective of you and will literally fight anyone who makes you sad. you like to think of her as a big cuddly bear.

she likes to spoil you with gifts!

most of the time, it isn’t something super expensive because she knows it can make you a little uncomfortable. but if she travels, she makes sure to bring back a small souvenir for you to keep.

“Look! It’s a bear keychain!”

HIRAI MOMO

you guys actually met through a mutual friend! she had invited you to her birthday dinner where she introduced you to Momo.

you two hit it off right away, bonding over your mutual love for food, and natural dorkiness.

of course, you spent the entire night goofing off, trying to impress her and keep her attention on you. you would later find out that she thought it was absolutely adorable.

you asked for her number at the end of the dinner and she shyly gave it to you, making you promise to text her the next day. the rest is history!

Momo loves stealing your hoodies, especially if they end up looking big on her. she loves the fact that they always smell like you.

More often than not, she’ll end up taking it home and you won’t see it for another week. it’s the main reason why ever since you started dating Momo, you’ve managed to lose half of your hoodies.

whenever you tell her that you love her, she always blushes before saying ‘i love you too’ back.

most of the time, Momo is the one to initiate physical contact first. it doesn’t matter where you guys are or what you are doing, she’ll always try and get as much skin to skin contact with you.

this results in a lot of bear hugs and linked arms.

she’s super soft and gentle with you. whenever you get hurt, she has to resist the urge to start babying you. although you’ve told her that you don’t really mind it, she still tries to refrain from doing so because she doesn’t want to suffocate you.

a lot of late-night texting. Momo doesn’t really know how to start the conversation first so she’ll just send you something random and hope you reply.

she always manages to rope you into dancing with her. whether it’s uncontrolled party dancing, slow dancing, or hip hop, she’ll always try and convince you into dancing with her.

she told you it’s because dancing makes her happy and so do you. therefore, she feels the most joy when the two are combined together.

she’s actually super shy around her members when you’re around. they love to tease her unstop, especially Jeongyeon and Sana.

she always whines whenever this happens and tries to hide her blushing face by burying it into your body, whether it’s your arm, chest, back, neck, etc.

you’d never tell her but you secretly love it when she gets teased and that’s why you’ve never once tried to stop the girls from doing so.

soooo much eating out together. whenever you have the chance to, you like to take her out to eat. she’s super appreciative of the fact that you always let her choose where you guys eat.

she’ll try and get into your hobbies as well. you guys once went hiking and although she was extremely tired, she never once complained. it’s because she knows how much hiking means to you and she doesn’t want to bash on it or make you feel as though she’s not enjoying it.

Momo wants to know everything about you. so, she’ll end up becoming super serious when you let her know about the things that you are passionate about.

as long as she’s spending time with you, it doesn’t matter to her what you guys are doing.

so much cuddling. a tremendous amount of cuddling. it’s her favourite thing to do with you.

she changes between little spoon and big spoon, depending on what she feels like at the moment.

Momo is just the softest girlfriend ever.

contrary to popular belief, she actually likes to go slow with her relationships. she doesn’t ever want you to feel rushed, so she always takes extra care in making sure that you never feel uncomfortable.

kisses are either super sweet or super passionate. there is no in-between.

her favourite way of waking you up in the morning is to place kisses all over your face.

you’ll often find her staring at you with a gaze full of wonder and curiosity. when you ask her why she’ll just say that she doesn’t think she’ll ever get over the fact that you’re hers.

she’s not afraid to be touchy with you in front of the other members. sometimes a little too touchy. the members usually end up cringing and telling you guys to get a room.

she smiles and laughs the most around you. sometimes you aren’t even doing anything and she’ll look at you and smile.

Sana loves it when you call her ‘baby’ or ‘sweetheart’. she finds it so adorable and her heart flutters every time.

it’s usually rare that Sana will get flustered, but around you, she’s always blushing and can sometimes become timid.

she just loves you way too much.

movie nights always end with her crying in your arms. it’s because she always insists on watching a heartfelt romantic film, even though you keep telling her that she’ll end up in tears.

Sana feels too deeply, that’s just who she is as a person. this means that she loves you more than she could ever describe in words. however, this also means that when you guys fight, she’s unable to think properly and will become overwhelmed with sorrow.

which is unfair because a) they’re your friends and b) you would never dream of hurting her. ever.

when she gets serious though, she gets serious. this usually happens when you guys get into a small argument or disagreement.

Chaeyoung can be so protective of you. if anyone hurt you, she would get super quiet. that’s how you would know that she was angry.

she would take steps towards ensuring that they would never be able to hurt you again. this usually meant utilizing her various idol connections to her advantage.

when you guys had a fight, which was rarely ever, she wouldn’t exactly blow up on you. instead, she would be really levelheaded while trying to solve the issue.

she hates it when you guys fight and sometimes she’ll end up in tears. she can be really sensitive around you and she doesn’t ever like it when you raise your voice.

so many cheek and forehead kisses. however, because of her height, they’re only ever done when both of you are sitting down.

she gets embarrassed extremely easily. her entire face, up until the tip of her ears, will flush red.

a lot of tickle fights will ensue. she loves being playful with you.

at first, you totally thought she hated you.

you met Twice at a company event and she completely ignored and avoided you. you tried multiple times to try and talk to her but she always stared blankly at you.

eventually you gave up trying.

in reality, she was just too shy to try and talk to you. Tzuyu was absolutely stunned by how gorgeous/handsome she thought you were. whenever you were around her, she would freeze up.

when the end of the night neared, she kept whining about how cute she thought you were. Jeongyeon eventually got fed up and asked for your number in place of Tzuyu.

that’s how you guys started talking.

she’s usually pretty quiet but she gets super excited around you.

she likes to go on small picnic dates with you. you guys would take turns planning it out, and at first, you guys would bring foods that the other person liked most.

after a dozen or so picnic dates, you guys just started to bring weird and wacky food that the other persons never tried before.

at first, she was really awkward when it came to physical affection. she was never one for cuddling, but once you guys started dating, it quickly became one of her favourite activities.

she’s a really innocent person. you had to explain a lot of... things to her.

sometimes she’ll just sit and stare at you for no reason other than the fact that she loves you.

you never pegged her as someone who was into romantic gestures, but she manages to prove you wrong.

for your anniversaries, she always goes full out. she usually spends 2 weeks planning the event beforehand.

when it comes to you, she’s incredibly patient and understanding.

if you guys can’t see each other, she’s perfectly content with just video calling. to her, just feeling your presence is more than enough.

when you guys are at the dorm, she likes to spend half of the time with the girls, and the other half with you in her room.

she values personal space a lot so sometimes she will need a little bit of time off to herself. however, you’re the only person she doesn’t feel the need to distance herself from.

in fact, you’re the only person who’s allowed to enter her room without her permission first.

she’s so appreciative of you. she notices every little thing that you do for her and will silently melt inside.

Tzuyu just loves how attentive you are when it comes to her.

whenever she sings “One in a Million”, she always thinks about you.

“Am I really helping?” You asked him.

“If you’re asking if the number of pes–people that ambush me has diminished ever since you started pretending to be my lover, then I can safely say that it has. Though there are still some persistent exceptions, don’t worry. Most lower level demons are fickle. They’ll get tired eventually”

And by then … would you two still need to pretend?

When you reached the classroom, the remaining students left in the hallways did not even bother to try and be discreet as they watched you two.

As always, Lucifer performed his role as “the perfect boyfriend” flawlessly. With smooth movements, he unhooked your arms, took your hand, bowed, and brought your knuckles to his lips.

“Have a nice day, my dear.” He murmured, looking up at me through half-lidded eyes.

And he complains about being popular, you thought bitterly.

“Enough!” Belphegor and Asmo burst through the door and then pulled you away from Lucifer.

“Don’t you have classes? Just leave already!” Belphegor demanded while Asmo made a shooing motion with his hand.

“Lately, it seems like my brothers have become more brazen,” said Lucifer. He wore a smile but the air around him was dead-cold. But just as his two brothers began to hide behind me, he looked at me expectantly. “Well, good luck with school. I’ll see you later.” And with that, he left.

The endless harassment from the brothers and piercing glares from jealous classmates ended with the booming lunch bell. You sprinted out the room before Belphie or Asmo could grab hold of you (Belphie was still recovering from his nap and Asmo was flirting with everyone).

Lucifer usually ate lunch alone or with Diavolo while discussing student council matters, and you didn’t want to eat at the cafeteria where other people would continue to bother you.

You hurried to the roof where you sealed the doors using an enchanted brooch. (It was a gift from Solomon, why he would give you one in the first place was a mystery though. But he did say that it was “to protect oneself from thirsty demon brothers at night” whatever that meant.)

“That’s a nice piece of jewelry, human.” Growled a voice from behind you. You shivered but calmed down when he started to chuckle.

“Not funny, Satan! I thought you were an actual thug.”

“I’m sorry,” he said, but his grin said otherwise.

“Why’re you even here?”

“I was here first, I should be asking you that.”

“I needed a break.”

Satan sat on a bench and patted the space next to him. “It’s hard being Lucifer’s ‘lover’, huh?”

You decided to ignore his reluctant use of the word ‘lover’ and seated yourself by his side. “A little … ”

“Don’t sugarcoat it. No more than a week and even that stupid Mammon could tell you’re worn out.”

“I look that bad, huh?” You giggled, self-consciously brushing your hands over the circles of your eyes.

Satan hummed as he patted your wrists away from your face.

“A-anyway, did you have lunch yet?” You unfolded your handkerchief over your lap and laid your lunch box on it.

“Unfortunately, Beel managed to get his hands on my lunch this morning so I haven’t eaten anything since breakfast–what’s the matter?”

You had shut your lunch box close a split second after opening it. “Nothing. Looks like Beel ate mine too.” You began wrapping the box in clumsy speed, but Satan snatched it away from you.

“If that was the case then why the constipated face?”

You frowned. The resident detective had a way with words.

Satan rose to his feet before you could retrieve your pack and lifted the tin. Not even taking his narrowed eyes off the container, he growled, “This isn’t the first time this happened, correct?”

You gulped down a lump in your throat but found yourself unable to answer.

Clicking his tongue, Satan’s entire body shone green and when the light vanished you found him in his demon form. He was holding onto the container with such force you could see cracks in the plastic. Thinking fast, you slid yourself in front of him to block his view of the door.

“Get out of my way, [MC].”

You shook your head. “Not until you calm down.”

“I’ve been staying calm for weeks now. I bit my tongue when you started dating Lucifer and I turned a blind eye when the incidents started because you never brought it up, but I can see that that was a mistake on my part. You’ve only gotten thinner and more tired. Not to mention, this?” He slammed the lunch box on the ground, cracking both the container and the concrete floor. The contents–tiny centipedes and rotten lizard eggs spilled by your feet.

“Satan–”

“Don’t tell me to stand down when you’re being treated like this.”

“Satan,” you repeated more firmly, forcing him to look at you. “I’m angry, too, but nothing good will come out of acting petty. As a human representative, I don’t want to cause unnecessary trouble.” Times like this you were amazed at the similarities between teenage demons and teenage humans. Actually, these petty harassments resembled cliche manga tropes more than anything. The situation was almost amusing.

“No threat has been made to my life, these bullies will eventually get tired,” you insisted.

Satan watched you silently, then he transformed. You were shocked with how fast he complied.

“Don’t look at me like that,” he sighed. He flicked his wrist and the lunchbox flew back on his palm, with the less-than-appetizing contents securely locked inside. “If it’s you, I’ll listen. So when you change your mind–”

“I’ll rush to you for help.” Not wanting to raise suspicion, you then quickly added, “After I go to my boyfriend, of course.” You reached for the lunchbox.

Satan’s hands covered your own.

“Satan?”

He had a far-off look in his eye as he continued to stare at your hands.

“Hey … once you get tired of Lucifer, how about becoming mine?”

“Huh?”

“I won’t let anyone bully you and I’ll always eat lunch with you, so what do you say?”

This was getting awkward. Thank goodness your D.D.D. rang before the silence dragged on.

You pulled back your arms. “Don’t even joke about that,” you tried to sound lighthearted but the trembling in your voice only made the air more awkward, so you unsealed the door and ran down the stairs.

Lately, all the brothers were acting weird. Mammon only spoke in canine growling and camped inside your room before Lucifer kicked him out, Beel would pile his own food on your plate, Asmo insisted on sending you expensive clothes and accessories, Levi now physically dragged you into his room to play games instead of just texting like he usually does, and Belphie was often found passed out near your bedroom or Lucifer’s. Now it was Satan’s bad sense of humor.

You thought you knew these boys…

With a sigh, you answered your D.D.D.

“Hello, dear.”

The awkwardness from the earlier conversation with Satan has completely vanished with the sound of Lucifer’s voice.

“H-hi, Lucifer!” That came out louder than expected.

He chuckled and you had to grab the handrail to keep your free hand from smacking your face.

“Did you have lunch yet?”

“Huh? Oh … not yet.” You decided to tell the truth because Lucifer had a knack for figuring out whether you’ve had a proper meal or not. It probably came with being the eldest of eight children.

“My meeting with Diavolo finished earlier than expected. Do you want to eat at the cafeteria?”

“Yes, of course!” You dork, you thought.

Lucifer laughed again, probably aware of your blushing face.

“All right. I’ll pick you up–”

“No, I’ll go to you please wait for me. The cafeteria is probably less crowded now so you go ahead and save us a seat.”

“I’ll see you then.”

You put away your D.D.D. and skipped several steps down the stairs. This wasn’t the first time you would be eating with Lucifer (and only with him) but you get giddy each time.

“Look at this one acting like a kid.”

A horrible voice spoke out of nowhere as you hopped down.

“You don’t deserve Lucifer.”

“You deserve a lesson.”

Before you could move, an invisible force pushed your back and you tumbled downward.

“This is getting ridiculous, aren’t you the boyfriend?” Who was that? Oh, it was Mammon. You thought Lucifer had banned him from your bedroom. But wait, who’s he talking to?

“[MC] keeps losing weight and not in a good way. Do you even understand what’s going on?” It was Asmo’s.

“Shut up, all of you. You’re gonna wake [MC] with all your racket.” Huh, it was rare to hear Belphie getting worked up.

Your head was aching and it took a full minute before you realized you were half-asleep.

As if knowing that you were more or less aware, a familiar hand caressed your face and a deep voice called your name.

After a few seconds of struggling, you opened your eyes and found Lucifer hovering over you.

Is this what Snow White felt when she woke to that kiss? He didn’t kiss me but still … Seeing someone this beautiful would bring the saddest soul back from the grave. I don’t care what happens next, please just stay like this with me …

You had begun fangirling before you realized it.

“Your nose is bleeding.” Lucifer produced a handkerchief from his breast pocket and pressed it gently on your nose.

“Is that so … ” Whatever, you could die right now and it would be all right. Suddenly, your peaceful daze was broken by the sudden uproar from the rest of the brothers.

“What the hell! Gross, you guys are gross!”

“Stop acting like a couple in front of us!”

“You make me sick, happy normies are the worst!”

“Shut up, all of you,” Lucifer commanded, still holding the handkerchief on your face.

The brothers did quiet down but they still shook with rage.

“Hey,” Mammon muttered lowly, “who did this to you?”

You held the handkerchief on your own but Lucifer didn’t pull away from you. “I honestly don’t know. I was hop–walking down the stairs when I heard random voices. The voices were … how do I put this … muddled? Like multiple voices from different people were put on top of each other.”

“What did they say?”

“Nothing much. Just the textbook Mean Girl stuff.” When met with silent, confused gazes, you explained, “You know basic insults like: ‘you’re acting like a kid’ and ‘you deserve a lesson’ or something like that.”

“And you didn’t see anyone?”

You shook your head.

The brothers exchanged worried glances. Lucifer sighed, “It will take a while but we will find who did this, don’t worry.”

You grinned. “I’m not.” You really weren’t. You live with these seven demon brothers and even stood against a raging Lucifer twice. The harassments from Lucifer fans were cute in comparison.

You then realized that all eyes were on you. You shrunk back in your bed, suddenly feeling self-conscious. “What is it?”

“Hey … ” Mammon started, “Why don’t you two just break up?”

Your mood made a 180 and you jumped up, but before you could speak, Satan cut you off, “You said not to worry because there weren’t any risky events, but today’s incident is proof that Lucifer’s fans won’t stop unless you’re other dead or broken up.”

“I agree, besides it’s not a big deal, right?” Belphie said. “After all you two were just pretending.”

How did they find out?

As if reading your mind, Asmo answered, “We had an argument while the doctor treated you, Lucifer was forced to confess.” He turned to Lucifer “And since this is Lucifer’s problem, let’s leave him to handle it. Alone. Break up already.”

A chorus of yeah’s and nodding followed from the rest. You clenched your fists and spoke up, “None of this is Lucifer’s fault, I agreed to it!”

“Ha! Knowing Lucifer he didn’t leave room for rejection.” Mammon was being surprisingly logical. However …

“I wouldn’t know, as if I would ever say no to Lucifer!”

Everyone including Lucifer retreated wide-eyed.

“And I appreciate your concern but I can take care of myself, I accepted everything because I didn’t want to be another headache to Lucifer, unlike you guys!” You were talking way too much and way too fast. Head spinning, you rambled on, “If it bothers you all that much, I’ll do something! I’ll go to Solomon and–and ask him for more protection spells and whatever! But don’t ask me to break up with Lucifer because when will I ever get the chance to go on dates and hold hands and walk together and–and I–and I … !” You were too out of breath to continue. And when you finally calmed down you screamed internally and dove under the white blanket of the cot.

Lucifer ordered the others to leave you two alone. Hearing the click of the clinic door, you dreaded of what was to come. You heard him call your name but you remained buried under the blanket.

You prayed to anyone who would listen to split open the ground and swallow you whole. Anything to avoid Lucifer’s disgusted face.

You felt him sit down on the edge of the cot and heard your name again.

“Would you please look at me?”

You shook your head furiously.

“… but it’s always best to look in a person’s eye when conversing, don’t you agree?” Yes. But you were too red and full of shame.

“Hey, [MC] … ” He leaned over your body and his lips pressed against the fabric over your ear, his breath melted your insides with each word, “I like you, too.”

What? Did you hear that right?

“I like you a lot actually, so would it be okay if I asked you to be mine … for real this time?”

Your grip on the blanket loosened. “I … I … hey!” The fabric flopped down on the tiled floor. You then found yourself flipped on your back with Lucifer on top of you.

He was smirking as he grabbed your chin. “As if I’d ever let you say no now.”

Hey how about a bartender au!! Peter is working at a bar for some reason and Juno is a frequent customer...

“Sir, I’m not sure…” tried Ernest Walter asa client asked for his fourth glass of rather expensive, rather inebriatingwhiskey.

“It’s fine.” Sighed the client. “Vicky willput it on my tab.”

That was a weak excuse at best, anoutrageous lie at worse, but Ernest Walter was a mousy, nervous kid, new to thebusiness, and as much as he didn’t want to get fired by his new boss, he wouldalso have been terrified of angering the man currently standing only a counteraway from him.

“Are you sure…”

“Listen kid,” the tone of the stranger wasbrusque, but Peter could tell he was trying to look as unthreatening aspossible. “I promise you, Vicky knows me. Hell, even if she didn’t,she’d sooner come after me than after one of her own, no matter how new or hownaive they may be. Now, if you really want to, you can call Todd on me as soonas you give me my drink, but please. Please. Please. Give me. Mydrink.”

“O… okay.”

Ernest fumbled with the glass bottleseventually managing to give the man his dose, maybe even a bit more than that.

What could Peter say? He’d always been asucker for a beautiful face.

“Thank you.” Said the client, in a gratefulbreath, before downing a good half of the drink.

Peter had to admit to being impressed. Hewas himself notably terrible at handling his liquor, but the man had justthrown back his three and a half whiskey with no problem, and while his movementshad gotten slower, he didn’t seem to be nearly as wasted as Peter would haveexcepted anyone to be.

He would, of course, have loved tointerrogate this stranger, who seemed to be so totally out of place in VallesVicky’s establishment looking more like a common thug - with rough edges and anose crooked in a way that suggested it had been broken repeatedly - than thepolished clients Ernest Walter saw during the day. His cover wouldn’t have feltthat way, however, not yet, and Peter couldn’t afford to blow this up for onepretty face.

He caught sight of Todd across the room,coming back from the main public entrance. Ernest sent him a panicked glance,pointing a significative stare towards his scruffy client.

“Juno.” Todd said as he reached the bar.“Why are you here?”

“Hey Todd.” Juno said, glancing at Peterfrom the corner of his eyes. “Finished my job for Vicky. Figured I could checkout the perks before she sends me back.”

Peter carefully stayed focused on his work.He really hadn’t pegged Juno for one of Vicky’s men. If he’d had to guess, he’dhave thought him to be some kind of down on his luck good-doer. A cop maybe.Rough but ultimately kind, which, admittedly, seemed to be a rarity in HyperionCity.

But it meant Peter could now justify gainingmore information on him. If Juno really was working with Vicky, then maybe, he’dbe useful to gather the information Peter needed.

“You should go see her now,Juno.”

“Yeah yeah, sure. I will. Just let mefinish my drink and…”

Todd placed a huge hand down on Juno’sshoulder. It seemed to Peter that he was gripping him a bit tighter than was strictlynecessary.

The lady, getting more and more mysteriousby the second, sighed at that.

“Fine. Going… going…”

He put a bill down on the counter even ashe was dragged away.

“Thanks for the drinks, kid.”

Juno, Peter learned during his research, full name Juno Steel, was a former cop whose carreer had ended messily in a mysterious affair involving mafias, corruption, and worst of all, politics. Considering his previous record, though, it was entirely obvious that his demise was the result of a cover up, effective enough to attract Peter’s attention without revealing him much.

It seemed he worked with Vicky as a private investigator of sort, finding dirt on unpaying clients and grabby assholes, gathering informations on ennemies, and solving the right crimes at the right times to delete Valles Vicky’s concurrence.

He was, in a word, as clean as he could get away with while working for Vicky, and Peter couldn’t help but wonder how he’d ended up helping an art smugler of all things. From what snippet of conversation he’d managed to hear here and there - bringing Vicky her wine at just the right time, loitering around her door when he wouldn’t be missed, listening in through the tiny recording device he’d placed in the ventilation system - she liked Juno at least as much as he annoyed her. She kept yelling at him and threatening him, but from what he’d been able to gather, he was also an invaluable asset to her, and she trusted him with most of her business.

Juno was also, it seemed, incredibly paranoiac.

“So, what did you tell Vicky?”

Ernest looked up fearfully at Juno. The skittish bartender was, for the most part, reassured about the client’s character after a few weeks of not getting attacked doing his job, but Juno still cut an impressive figure, and Ernest was nothing if not impressionable.

“W… what?”

“Drop it, kid. This doesn’t work on me anymore. You’re always there when I come talk to her, and you may not look like it, but you listen to… just about everything I say, don’t you?” He leaned in, causing Ernest to take a cautious step back. “So, what do you say? Is this her way of making sure I’m not going to, I don’t know, betray her?”

He snatched the glass Enerst still hadn’t given him, studying the bartender with eyes, percing enough that Peter felt as though maybe he would be able to find him under the layers he’d carefully applied to his self.

It sent a shiver down his spine, cold and burning.

“You’re not a PI… I know those… A spy, maybe? But, why would you work for Vicky then…”

He took a gulp of his drink, still looking at Enerst through the distorted glass. The fretful man finally gathered himself enough to respond to the - frankly quite ridiculous - accusations.

“Sir, I think maybe you’ve had too…”

“Unless you’re not.”

“I… What?… Sir?”

“Unless you’re not. Working for her, that is.”

Enerst Walter was not entirely dumb, but he wasn’t the smartest tool in the box, either.

“I… am? Sir. I’m a bartender, you might have noticed.”

Peter, however, was following the conversation with interest. Juno was getting awfully close to figuring him out, and that would be a problem.

“What’s your name?”

The question was abrupt enough that even Peter was surprised.

“Me? I mean… It’s really none of your… business…”

Juno looked at him, unnervingly still. Ernest wasn’t a very courageous man.

“Um… Ernest. Ernest Walter.”

“Ernest Walter.” Juno repeated. “Right. And how long have you been working for Vicky?”

“Sir, I really don’t…”

“Humor me.”

Ernest was getting angry. To be fair, Peter thought, at this point most people would have been. Someone insisting you weren’t yourself tended to have that effect on people - Peter would know. But he wasn’t quite angry enough yet to forget that Juno Steel could very well resort to a violence he wasn’t ready to match.

“Three months.” He said through his teeth. “Now, if you will excuse me…”

“Sure. Wouldn’t want to put a wrench in your plans.” Juno winked and it was so incredibly smug it almost looked familiar to Peter’s eyes.

Peter was seriously starting to consider calling this whole long con thing off.

“Sir.” Enerst had come a long way. He’d gone from scared to annoyed to long suffering. “Are you following me?”

“Hello, Ernest.” Juno was insufferably chipper, and Enerst wanted to kick him. “I just thought I’d go to my meeting with Vicky on foot. Lovely weather today.”

Enerst made a show of glancing at the threatening clouds overhead.

“And you just happenned to be passing by my building, I take it.”

He didn’t bother to make it a question.

“Oh, you know… small world and all that.”

Juno was terrible at fake chitchat. Externally Ernest was rolling his eyes at the man, while internally Peter had to refrain from laughing at Juno’s very poor technique. The man had been - quite subtly he had to admit - following him for the past two weeks, and although Vicky now trusted him, constantly having a shadow had been a major pain in the ass.

“And I’m sure Vicky will be happy to learn that you’re keeping in form for your actual job.” Ernest’s sarcasm had still a long way to go, but it was steadily improving.

“Vicky will be happy not to be stabbed in the back.”

“Vicky trusts me.”

Juno snorted at that.

“Don’t feel too special kid, Vicky trusts everyone working for her. Doesn’t mean she should.”

“I” Ernest was starting to get fed up with the pseudo PI, and Peter was regretting then more than ever to have made him as stuffy as he was “am not a child, and Vicky has every reason to trust me!”

Juno stopped, and looked him dead in the eye. Ernest took a careful step back, and even Peter felt himself. Juno seemed like a good enough person, but he still had something of a dangerous lady underneath it all. A controlled violence that neither Ernest nor Peter really knew how to thread with.

“Your name isn’t Ernest Walter and I will find what you want from Vicky if it kills me.”

And before Ernest had any time to respond - before Peter had any time to respond - he stormed off. In seconds, Ernest was left alone in an empty street.

“No need to be so dramatic about it.”

This job really wasn’t going to go well was it.

Love how they prove they stalk this blog by adopting the terminology you use to try to insult us. Is anything this posse of morons do or say their own independent thinking? What isn’t parroted verbatim repeats of what ajw says are usually hilarious vapid attempts at insults.

I have noticed a few of my words tossed into their rotation, LOL.

I don’t see a lot of independent thinking. In the fandom itself, I see a lot of parroted phrasing using the talking points created by the Board of Directors and specifically ajw. They like to get stuck on a pointless trope and they just can’t let it go. Right now they won’t stop talking about Darren’s mom going to an awards show. We will hear about that until the wedding throws them into a tizzy and changes the talking points.

As for the insults....oh lord. They are something else. This new thing where they all gang up to viscously attack anons is interesting. I find it so 4th-grade clique-or like bees protecting their hive-they all run over and attack the person who is making their friend SAD. They can’t make a valid argument, so they just viciously attack without any actual critical evaluation or intelligent comeback-just like those 4th graders. They resort to calling anons homophobes, criticize reading skills or typos -which is literally the most disingenuous attack ever as their leader is the queen of the typo. They rant and rave about how blind we are to the PR narrative and claim they themselves are so clever they see right through it. They belittle us for “wasting our time” posting comments when they themselves spend all day doing the same thing. It’s a distraction technique. Calling anons “Mia Stans” seems to be their idea of a “fuck you”. The thing is, nobody is trying to be a Mia Stan. I know there are a few, I see their comments on Twitter and Instagram, but I have yet to see an ask on a CC blog from someone who is blindly obsessed over MIa’s greatness. People are supporting Darren and his chosen love.

Mostly, the CCers’ insults serve to distract from reality but more and more they dole out silly insults which project their own fears and failings. This gem from yesterday is a perfect specimen to examine:

“M looked absolutely stunning last night. Just like she did for the Emmys and Golden Globes!! Hate her for no reason but you can’t deny the truth.”

Here we have an anon who is engaging them. in a tiny bit of trolling. Anon isn’t rude, isn’t aggressive, and isn’t lying- Mia always looks amazing.

Oh Nonnie, I have tried to be good and not comment too much on her style, and I agree, she was fine at the Emmy’s and GG. But she managed to top her previous worst RC look (ACS premiere) with that $15,000 mess on the CCs. It looked like cheap lingerie with a skirt attached.

ajw always has to join in the fun-i’ve joked in the past that she is contractually obligated to comment on every anon/ask response in the CC fandom. She starts out with “nonnie” which is just a passive aggressive “sweetie”. She then goes right in- after “trying to be good”- and lets loose with the insults about Mia’s style, the dress, and the expense. Nobody is jealous here.

And while I don’t love the original dress, it is far superior to that thing she wore.

You can continue to love her, keep deluding yourself that what they have is healthy and she is a good person, the truth, someday, will be revealed and you will feel foolish. I just hope that day is sooner because D deserves his freedom.

She continues by calling her a Stan without using the word. Then we come to the second projection: the truth, someday, will be revealed and you will feel foolish.

Interesting that the shirt under it makes it classier and no surprise she removed. Although if I’m honest to me it looks like corset with some bedsheets and pillow cases attached.

She stuck with pure misogynistic attacks on Mia’s style and dress. She insinuated she is classless, maybe even slutty with her word choice.

It seems obvious but I need to say it: Clearly someone who designed the dress liked it and the person who approves the designs liked it and the person who published it in the magazine (with the shirt underneath) liked it and Mia liked it. Everyone is entitled to like or not like fashion but going on an outright rant about the failings of Mia, her mom and Vera Wang as well as the price is uncalled for and says way more about author of the comment than the designer of the dress. Also, because I’m being petty, I need to remind ajw that she momsplained that Darren’s parents participated in a “stunt” after the Emmy’s because a parent’s love for their child is endless. Same would be true of MIa’s mom, no?

Really anon? Really? These are his PARENTS, the two people who support him more than anyone aside from C. Of course they are going to do ANYTHING to protect him. and right now apparently she needs to be integrated into every aspect of his life. One (of many) things that has lacked is a close bond with his parents, so they are trying to rehabilitate this just like with so many other things.

Never underestimate the love a parent has for a child.

So I have been reading a lot of Yoongi/Jimin because they are giving me all the feelings, here are some of my favourite ones. I will keep updating this. It is short because I just started not too long ago. :)

Note that this is for fun only and I do not actually believe that the real Yoongi and Jimin will be romantically linked in any way.

Aeon

In the year 1304 A.D., tensions between the Vampires and the Lycans are at an all time high. Min Yoongi is the Captain of the Death Dealers and the most elite of the Vampires' protectors. Over the long years of his life, Yoongi has grown unemotional and apathetic, no longer interested in feeling emotions. When the human nobles come to visit, Yoongi meets Park Jimin, the youngest son of a baron, and his whole life changes. Suddenly Jimin is the most important thing in his world, and Yoongi will do anthing to protect him.

Me: Someone I just enjoy the same story of aloof Yoongi finally finding something to care about, no matter the universe. Enjoy this one, I loved it.

"Unless you know what a ‘rear oil change’ is? I mean, what the hell are they going to oil, my tires?” Jimin laughs at the ridiculousness. “Oh, I don’t know, but that sounds kind of kinky, 'changing your rear oil.' It sounds like the mechanic is preparing you for buttsex.”

AKA The mechanic AU where Park Jimin thinks Min Yoongi is overcharging him for car maintenance, but he's really not, cue Yoonmin falling in love.

Me: It’s refreshing to see real-life relationship struggles and personal insecurities in a fic. Honestly I think our fandom has one of the most talented writer base there is. This was so good. The author is someone I set notifications for so I get an email whenever they update. Amazing work. Do check out her other stuff if you looking for great characterised stories.

Warm Mr. Wolfie

Jimin's late aunt left him a cabin last year, and he still hasn't been by so he takes time off to spend the holiday season there. Little does he know he'll meet a wolf on his hike behind the cabin, a wolf that will change form in front of him and claim to be his mate.

Me: If you are looking for something short and cute this is the one to go for. Very fast burn.

Gotta Be Fate (If We’re Under the Covers)

Jimin is excited to just sleep for a day and maybe catch up on some tv shows at the hotel.

That is, until they get to the new hotel they’re staying at, and he gets handed a room key that’s the same as Yoongi’s. Meaning, he and Yoongi will share a room and worse, he and Yoongi will have to share a bed.

“Why do I have to share with Yoongi-hyung?” Jimin complains. He’s managed to avoid it this whole trip which is really in his best interest if he wants to keep his raging heart boner for him hidden.

AKA my response to Yoonmin sharing a bed, 8 years too late.

Me: I’ve loved canon-compliant fics, not because I really believe the real-life them are together but because it makes it easier to picture, somehow, This is so cute and sweet.

The Songbird and the Sea

In a world where dominance of the sea is an endless battle between pirates and mariners, Park Jimin is content living in his little village on a small, uninteresting island by the eastern mainland. He wants nothing to do with the bloodshed of good and evil, the heartless killing of both innocents and condemned, the constant establishment and disruption of order. What he wants is peace, to live his life in the same town he was born in, to spend his days in the beautiful forest, and to use the powers of his Blessed Rune to nurture the home he loves so dearly.

But when his island is attacked by pirates, Jimin will have no other choice than to do as they command and leave all thoughts of peace behind in favor of boarding the Agust, a pirate ship captained by the infamous Min Yoongi, Black Fox of the East.

Me: I just want to say that I’ve been aware of this pic since a very long time ago but I refused to read it until it was completed (cos I am just not very good at waiting). THIS IS A MASTERPIECE.

Yoongi is turned into a cat by a sorceress, and novice witch Jimin finds him and takes him home. Fluff and feelings ensue.

Me: This fic is fluff. Fluff. Fluff. There is just enough tension. Just enough angst. Just enough everything to make this the perfect warm-feeling fic to end off the night before you sleep.

7 Minutes in Heaven

“It’s a fusion game. The person who spins the bottle gets to ask the person it landed on truth or dare, and if that person doesn’t want to answer or do the dare then they either take a shot or take off an article of clothing,” Jin says like he’s proud of improvising such a fantastic game. “I’m not playing that,” Yoongi says. “Hyung, don’t be a party pooper, are you scared we’ll learn your secrets?” Hoseok asks and Namjoon ah’s dramatically. Yoongi shakes his head and puts his tongue in his cheek before he smiles at their antics, pushing Namjoon over closer to Jin so that he can sit down. “Please, hyung, it sounds like fun!” Jungkook says. “It’s my birthday.”

Me: Indulgent!Yoongi and shy!Jimin is my favourite thing.

Coffee and Honey

"-Hyung...- Hoseok sighs -You are as intimidating as a pink marshmallow. -That's the fucking point! -Yoongi literally bangs his head on the table -He IS a pink marshmallow."

In which Yoongi has insomnia, cannot for the love of God socialize, and Jimin is the way too cheerful and, oh, so downright gorgeus barista who works in a nocturnal coffe shop.

Me: As an insomniac, this fic feels like a dream come true.

13 Iconic Yoonmin Moments

Or, the one where Taehyung sends Yoongi a video that shows the top 13 Iconic Yoonmin Moments, and suddenly Yoongi is way too aware of the way Jimin acts around him.

Me: I really love canon BTS fics and this one is good so much that it is believable. I really really love how the writer made it realistic and well-paced.

Money can’t buy happiness (except when it does)

“So, I know that you're homeless and that you don't need my pity, it's just that I noticed you always write on the edges of your notebook because you probably can't buy a new one, so I bought you six new notebooks and... wait, are you crying?” AU

Me: This made me sad but made me smile at the same time. As always, all fics all this list end well so get ready for some light angst that ends with fluff.

Please don’t take my Sunshine Away

"As you took the sun away from my life I will do the same. You'll never feel the sun on your skin again, you will never see the light of day. Only when someone will feel for you love in the purest form, in the brightest way, only then the sun will come back again. But too bad, such love does not exist and it will never find it's way."

Min Yoongi is cursed and hasn't seen the sun in three years. Enter Park Jimin, literal ray of sunshine, and suddenly the sun isn't so important anymore.

Me: As someone who has days that feel like they never see the sunlight. I think I am also looking for a Jimin who is the embodiment of sunshine.

in your eyes (it’s where i wanna be)

Jimin pauses with his marker inches away from the cup, because — is he really going to do this? Isn’t it a bit old-fashioned to write something flirty on a coffee cup? But no matter what his churning gut says about danger and what the hell are you doing do you want to die, this guy is — with no better way to put it — totally Jimin’s Type with a capital T.

(Or: Jimin accidentally starts a nickname war with the cute blonde who likes his coffee way too bitter.)

Me: This is just so much cute blushing Jimin and tough but secretly soft Yoongi. I love love love this so much.

Me: this is the continuation to the First Love fic further down this list. I am a sucker for protective!Yoongi and needyOmega!Jimin so let’s just leave it at there. I also might have a bit of a Hyung kink but let’s not talk about this anymore.

Movie Night

Movie night with the band usually means a lazy evening watching some dull western flick while eating unhealthy amounts of popcorn, but every now and then, when it’s Jeongguk’s turn to pick, it means gory horror movies that has Jimin burying his face in the crook of his boyfriend’s neck to not scream in terror at every single jumpscare.

And Yoongi? Well, Yoongi finds a new way to distract him.

Me: This is *blush* the filthiest one-shot I have on this list and it hits all the right spots. Featuring the shy Jiminnie and his indulgent Yoongi.

Barbershop Romance

Jimin's impromptu visit to a salon called SUGA turns out to be more interesting than he expected. Way more interesting.

(Also known as 27 pages full of tooth-rotting fluff, painfully obvious flirting, and sexual tension.)

Me: This is just so much fluff and tension and Min Yoongi being a secret softie for our Jimin.

Barbershop Love

Jimin has never taken his best friend’s jokes about his alleged praise kink seriously, because that’s all they are and ever will be. Jokes. They’re stupid jokes that Taehyung makes at his expense to see the shy Jimin turn into a blushing, embarrassed mess of stuttering protests and meek curses. They’re only jokes, and they’re so stupid.

Or at least Jimin has always thought so, but then his hairdresser boyfriend asks him to pose as a model for his winter collection, and Jimin realizes that there might the teeniest, tiniest bit of truth to Taehyung’s persistent teasing.

Me: I am quite the sucker also for a Jimin with a praise kink. Let’s just leave it as that. This is a sorta sequel to the fic above. MissterMaia is a genius, I would recommend reading everything they have written.

Greedy

Yoongi gives Jimin anything he asks for, but Jimin still wants more.

Me: SugarDaddy!Yoongi pampers SugarBaby!Jimin but his baby wants more. So much more. This is just fluff there is so much fluff.

Math Tutor

Min Yoongi is the school's resident Bad Boy™. He's covered in tattoos, is pierced, curses like a sailor, smokes like crazy, doesn't give a shit about anything, possesses a hot temper that has people steering clear of him, and is desperately in love with Park Jimin, the adorable math nerd. When Jimin is tasked with tutoring Yoongi in math, who is in danger of failing the class and being held back a year, both boys are hesitant. Yoongi because he can't think straight around the boy with startling red hair, and Jimin because Yoongi is scary as hell and looks like he can easily kill someone. Gradually, though, the two grow closer, and Jimin finds that Yoongi is nothing like how he'd imagined.

Me: BadBoy!Yoongi being a softie for our good student Jimin. Hits all the right spots.

Blueberry Muffins

Park Jimin, a meek, quiet assistant at Bangtan News Station, catches the wrath of his long- time crush, the 7’o clock news anchor, Min Yoongi, when Jimin accidentally switches scripts one night and almost causes an incident on live, national television. Yoongi is furious and makes Jimin cry in a room full of their coworkers, calling him names and telling him how stupid he is. Afterwards, Jimin takes to avoiding Yoongi like the plague, and Yoongi, who at first couldn’t stand Jimin, can’t help but start noticing him everywhere. Soon he finds himself falling for Jimin, which scares him, because Yoongi has never felt this way about a man before. Will it be too late to salvage a relationship with Jimin, or did Yoongi ruin his chance for good?

Me: Some light angst here and there but of course, like all the other fics in this list, there is a happy endings.

The Devil’s Mistress

Yoongi is Captain of the pirate ship, the Devil's Mistress, and he and his crew are racing against time to find a famous buried treasure, always one step behind and losing it to another rival ship. To gain the upper hand, Yoongi kidnaps a silver-haired beauty who is rumored to be a creature of great power. He isn't expecting to fall in love on the way.

Me: I love the bed-sharing trope in fics. So this is perfect.

Side Dishes

Yoongi is Korea's most famous actor. He's kissed so many pretty girls that he doesn't know what love is supposed to feel like anymore.

And then he meets rookie actor Park Jimin.

Me: What? A fic with feelings and plot and also a secondary plot that is good enough to be a fic of its own?

Magic Appa Love Scone

The one where Park Jimin thinks he mostly has his shit together until he wakes up married in a future universe that tells him otherwise.

AKA the one where fate slaps Park Jimin across the face.

Me: I know that the title sounds weird but wow this gave me far too many feelings.

Sexy Mochi

Yoongi’s never really understood why it’s a stereotypical thing for alphas to have some obsession with omega’s necks. He’d always thought that was kind of weird and just some macho ‘make your mate submit by biting their throat’ thing until he’s alone in the kitchen with Park Jimin and his damn shirt falls down his damn shoulder.

Me: Omega!Jimin is a tease when he wants to be.

Spring Day

Even when he was a pup, Park Jimin never even dreamed that he would find his soulmate. Thoughts like that were better left to his hopelessly romantic best friend and partner in crime, Kim Taehyung. It's a one in a million chance, but a twist of fate brings a strange wolf into Jimin's life and it changes things forever.

Me: Alpha!Yoongi learns to love with our little Omega!Jimin. With a healthy amount of angst to add to the fluff at the end.

Yoongi likes one night stands and he understands how they work. What he doesn’t understand, however, is how he ended up in bed with a probably-not-legal kid crying in his arms about his broken heart, because he’s pretty sure (and correct him if he’s wrong) that a babysitting job was not what he was looking for when he went to the opening of his friend’s new club.

Me: How do I say this, there are fics that start with one night stands and none of them went on as beautifully as this one. It is a natural progression, almost like a real relationship, I am like the way Yoongi is portrayed here. Conflicted but ultimately a softie at heart.

where the heart is

She hadn’t been ready to be a mother and Yoongi hadn’t been ready to be a father, but where she had turned tail and run, Yoongi had vowed never to do the same.

Me: I wasn’t expecting this single father Yoongi story to pull me in as much as it did. There is sufficient twists in this to keep it interesting and also a climax at the end which is nice. A soft, mostly fluffy story of how a Yoongi believes in love again.

tear the moon from the stars tonight

"Remember what I told you. You are mine now and I take care of my things."

Joseon Era AU: Jimin, a low born, catches the attention of nobleboy Min Yoongi.

Me: I wasn’t sure what to expect of this Joseon AU fic but it was pretty good, with enough character progression. Read it for something different.

Paper Chase

Jimin thought that joining a fraternity would be all parties and fun. He hadn’t anticipated falling for his cute roommate, Yoongi.

Me: If you are looking for some light fluff and PWP, this is the fic to go for. It is a hard R so beware.

Me: I just love love love love the whole fake boyfriend idea no matter which fandom I am into at the moment. I really enjoyed this one there is some angst but also so must fluff.

The 100-Day Love Challenge

For a variety show challenge, Jimin must tell Yoongi every day for 100 days that he loves him.

Me: There is nothing for me to explain. Nothing. If you are having a bad day and need fluff this is it.

Conflicting Arrangement

"Absolutely not," Yoongi deadpanned. "Namjoon-ah. I value you as a friend, and I think I'd even go as far as to say that you're my best friend, but absolutely fucking not."

"You owe me," Namjoon pleaded. "Come on, Yoongi, it's not a big deal."

"Your boyfriend's best friend's best friend needs a fake boyfriend to come out to his family this Chuseok, all the way in fucking Busan." Yoongi repeated drily without pause, making Namjoon wince. He flipped a page of his textbook, picking up his highlighter. "Not a big deal, Namjoon. Amazing."

Me: This is a really really long fic but god do I love it. It is worth it. Slow but the character development is really really well done. It is also yet another pretend boyfriend fics (I just love them)

First Love

Jimin is being courted for the first time. He doesn't really know what to do.

Me: This fic is in the OmegaVerse, if you are not into it please do not enter. I repeat, DO NOT ENTER. However if you are, this fic is just too precious not to share I want to drown in the fluffiness of it all.

Do You Like Your Drafts Rough?

As a romance novelist, one would think Min Yoongi would have his own romantic life sorted out a little more than he actually did. Because instead of being in a happy, nauseating relationship, Yoongi was juggling both a one-sided crush and some punk who lived downstairs.

Me: This is an AU where Yoongi is a writer and Jin is a librarian. I highly recommend the entire series.
