wait i’m curious as to what books you routinely read the new 1-2 star reviews on… i do the same thing lmfaooo

theres a couple and they change around as i read new stuff but the core atm is tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow by gabrielle zevin which for me is like if that book has zero haters i am dead. genuinely still waiting for people to burst out from behind a curtain and tell me all the critical acclaim that book got was a joke. and then more recently days at the morisaki bookshop which is probably the worst book i read this year but NOT the one i hated the most. the one i hated the most and whose bad reviews i routinely check is on the savage side by tiffany mcdaniel...think i hated this even more than tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow tbfh like i got a hardback copy (second hand thank god) and genuinely dont believe it was worth the paper it was printed on like it was garbage. also memorial by bryan washington which was awful but not so intense a hatred that i kept coming back to the reviews once id finished it...if i love a book i will read zero reviews for it but if i hate a book im reading every review i can find filter 1-2 stars sort by newest addition i DONT play. would LOVE to hear what books you revisit to read bad reviews of anon please spill in fact anybody who does this please spill..tell me what books you are an all time hater of unrecommend me a book please i love to gossip!!!!
