Makin a stim toy for my friend's brother cause he keeps nicking the dog leash to stim with and getting in trouble for it and my notes so far are 1. I may have to make myself one of these things I love it and 2. It's very hard to make a chain based stim toy that you can't intentionally or accidentally really fuck up your own or someone else's knuckles on lmao

#ive doubled it over so its maximum jangly minimum whip #and im gonna wrap the end in lecky tape hopefully in his favourite colour if i can get it to make that bit padded #neurodivergent punks gotta look out for each other especially when theyre the new kid #will update on how well it turns out #got a soft handle that i think ill loop a keyring through the grommet of so he can clip it to a bag or belt so its hard to lose #im real pleased with it as a concept #if anyone has tips for other things to wrap metal in to soften it gies a shout - i was gonna use fabric #but i cant get it to wrap securely enough without using so much glue it hardens the fabric and defeats the purpose #and i cant slide padding onto it cause its a thick welded chain and breaking it leaves sharp edges which also defeats the purpose
