Hello Mod yyxandere passing by your blog💗💗👋👋 How are you today mod bamboowrites how are you today?♡ I hope that your having such wonderful day :DD
Is it okay if I req for yandere (if you write them, if you dont want to it's perfectly okay) ningguang, visiting mondstadt favourite flower girl and falling inlove with her, please🙏
Thank you<3<3<3
Hiii! A wonderful day to you as well! This idea sounds amazing, and I’ll try my best to do this! This could become a series if y’all like this first one! (Not me writing way more than I should again ehe~)
TW: yandere behaviour (unhealthy infatuation)
female y/n as requested, gay panic go brr
long post ahead! yea i sure hope it does- vine reference go brr
‘Twas another busy day. This isn’t new to Ningguang, but today, she’s been invited by the owner of the Dawn Winery to visit Mondstadt, as well as for their business negotiations.
While waiting for Diluc Ragnvindr in the city, she decides to visit the flower shop that their guide mentioned. It should be open by now, and the displayed flowers are pretty too. It’d be nice to bring local Cecilias back to her office desk in Liyue, she mused.
“Welcome to Floral Whisper.” The woman behind the floras greeted with a warm smile. “How may I help you? Is this your friend, Moco?”
The woman’s smooth voice and smile made Ning’s heart skip a beat. Not to mention that the woman’s her type. It didn’t help that the afternoon sunlight was highlighting her beautiful features.
Maybe she’s the one Ningguang’s been looking for. The perfect darling. Maybe that’s why she felt a tinge of jealousy, when the florist first addressed the winery’s maid. She’d rather have the flourish beauty focus on her, and only her.
Feigning a calm composure, Ning tries to calm her heart down as Moco helped to answer the question. “Hi y/n! This is Lady Ningguang. We’re looking for some local specialties. Are there any flowers that you’d recommend?”
Upon knowing who the elegant guest is, y/n’as brows lifted in awe and her eyes lit up as she tries to find the suitable flowers Ning’d want. Ning found it adorable.
“It’s nice to meet you, Miss Ningguang. We have flowers that suit different occasions, so may I ask what purpose your flowers would have? We have a fine selecti-”
Before Ningguang could answer, y/n was cut off by Moco again. “Omg y/n! Just give your suggestions based on your own opinions! You always ramble on about the flowers and get scolded by Flora. Lady Ningguang is a busy businesswoman, you know. Unless… ehehe~”
Moco’s reprimands and teasing further fueled Ningguang’s inner irritation, of this unworthy host, standing in between her and her future darling. Not to mention the disrespect. It only became worse when she noticed y/n’s dejected face.
“Oh… I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to waste your precious time, Miss Ningguang. You’re right, Moco.” Y/n’s gaze drooped to the ground, and bowed slightly as she apologised. Ning wished that she could bring back the light in her darling’s eyes, like when she was talking about her precious florals.
Maybe if she brings her back to Liyue, she could spoil y/n and always keep that spark of bliss in her eyes. This dangerous yet tantalising thought creeps into her deeper thoughts and takes root. But for now, she’ll have to lock this idea away, to respond as nicely as she should to y/n.
“No, it’s alright. I’d love to hear more about the flowers, if you’d like to. I’m still considering if I need bouquets for other occasions other than for my office.” Gently, Ningguang finally gets the chance to reply to y/n.
‘It’s not a waste of time if it’s you.’ she thinks.
As she wanted, the florist’s face brightened once more.
“Thank you,” she said meekly, then began to continue her suggestions passionately.
“If you’re looking for flowers for your office, I’d suggest Cecilias, as they are beautiful and resilient. It gives me the same impression that I get from you.”
Y/n blushed as red as a Silk Flower at Ningguang. She quickly continued after clearing her throat, before her maid friend teases her again.
“Calla Lillies would be nice, if you’d like to keep them with Liyue’s Water Lillies. They thrive in waters, and look really pleasant!
I’d also recommend Small Lamp Grasses, Sweet Flowers and Windwheel Asters, if you’re looking for a bouquet for your Mondstadt business partners. They have good symbolisms, and popularity with our locals!”
“These are truly suitable suggestions.” Ningguang says with a thoughtful expression. Her head raises back up. “I’ll take three bouquets arranged as you see fit. Mora isn’t a problem, but I’d like to see what you decide to do.” She smiles more genuinely. Her cordial smile becomes softer than usual, but not that the commonfolks would notice. Especially not when the florist is still being too gay-panicked to notice.
“Yes ma’am. I’ll get them ready in 50 minutes. Would you like me to deliver them to specific places or people?” Y/n nods as she notices the half-adepti assistant come back towards Ningguang, with Amber on her side. “Hello! Amber, your sweet flowers are ready! I see you have a new friend?”
“Hello y/n! Did we miss anything?” Amber piqued. Both her and Ganyu were slightly sweating from their archery competition. Ganyu tilts her head at Ningguang as a silent inquiry, if the Tianquan needs her help to get away or assist her in other ways. Ningguang shook her head lightly in response, while Moco helps Amber carry a chunk of their bows. “Oh, and this is Ganyu!” “Hello. I’m Lady Ningguang’s assistant. Nice to meet you.” Y/n waved happily in response. “Hello Ganyu. I hope you and Lady Ningguang have a great time here! Oh and Amber, I’ve asked Noelle to bring your sweet flowers to your home. You guys live near, yes?” “Yea! Thank you!” “No problem.” Smiling, y/n starts to make the bouquets as she’s talking with her friend.
As they converse, Ningguang’s mind trails away. If she was to bring her back to Liyue, maybe she could get her darling her own flower store, or a greenhouse. She’d get jealous if her darling gets flirted with, or if people lead her attention away from Ningguang. Maybe it’ll be better if she keeps y/n at the Jade Chamber, with her adored flowers and various plants… perhaps she could take advantage of y/n’s personal delivery to her mansion, when both her and Ganyu would have returned from her trade with Mr. Ragnvindr…She’ll finally get to observe her darling right down to her very core, in private.
‘Buying those bouquets were truly great investments.’
“Y/n, it would be great if you could deliver my bouquets to the Jade Chamber. Ganyu and I would be busy in negotiations in Mondstadt, so we wouldn’t be available to collect them in time. Though, I’d have to have you deliver the third bouquet to Sir Diluc’s Winery before going to Liyue. I could arrange for someone to collect you.”
“Thank you, Lady Ningguang. Best of luck to you and Miss Ganyu with your trades! I’ll be waiting for my guide at the front gates.”
This would be the last time y/n is truly free in the City of Freedom. The last time she sees the Mondstadt sun on her leisure without unwanted companions. Or as a single person, at least.

Cinematic Coincidences
Spencer Reid x Gender Neutral Reader
(Spencer’s POV)- listen I just love his POV lol
Tumblr media
Summary: Spencer can’t bring himself to go on another date that’s been set up for him- so he stands his date up. Spence seemingly can’t catch a break and runs into the date he stood up.
A/N: Hey heyyy- here’s my seventh fic for my 30 fics in 30 days for April!! This one was requested by @andiebeaword (I added a reference for your love of hallmark movies in this hehe)- this is the original request- I tweaked the characters involved just a small bit lol I accidentally end up defaulting to using the people on the dream team lol- im going to start working in later characters in the show into some stuff in upcoming works (I’m also rewatching the later seasons so that’ll help get me inspired) Im always looking for feedback on my fics or really to talk about anything with my followers so feel free to drop into my inbox- here!! Thanks for reading- y’all have been so sweet 🥰 and hope y’all enjoy!!
Warnings: Insecure Spencer, Getting stood up for on a date, Morgan and Garcia (just the team in general) not really understanding Spencer fully, one tiny sexual innuendo- I think that’s it nothing too bad this time around
Main Masterlist Word Count: 2.4K
This was not what I wanted to be doing today. Garcia had once again inquired about my love life- along with Morgan of course, wanting to find out about all the juicy details. I didn’t know why they continued to ask when it was obvious that my love life was about as exciting as watching paint dry.
I gave my normal response to these types of inquiries, brushing them off without sounding too hurtful. Unfortunately Garcia would not be satiated by my response, apparently she was now fed up with my dull love life and felt like she needed to be personally involved. Garcia was very near and dear to me, just like Morgan, but I couldn’t deny that this grated my nerves.
“We’ll make you a dating profile too! Maybe you’ll find someone cute to date- or maybe get some?!” Garcia was chipper as usual, with her eyebrows wiggling at her suggestion that I should have a one night stand. All that I felt from her words was dread.
The dangers of online dating swirled in my mind and I tried to protest, it came out more like a stammer though. Morgan then patted me on the back and piped up, giving his own opinion, “Yeah- I think it’ll be good for you, pretty boy.”
Again I wanted to protest, beginning to stammer out another reason why I didn’t think it was a good idea. I sighed heavily when I was cut off again, by Morgan and Garcia already planning on what pictures they were going to upload of me. At least I knew that they had my best interests at heart, they wanted me to be happy with someone- or get some like Garcia had mentioned earlier. Still, it didn’t change the fact that there was no way I’d ever want to go willingly on a date with someone I had met on the internet.
—-
My thoughts had not changed since Morgan and Garcia had set up the dating profile for me. There hadn’t been any person I had been on a date with that had successfully been able to keep me interested beyond a few conversations.
“No luck with the online dating?” Morgan had teased when I had walked in with my head held low. This endeavor was just making me realize how picky and undesirable I was. Why couldn’t I just find someone pretty and be happy with it?
Morgan’s face twisted from a smile into a frown when I didn’t answer him, making my way silently to my desk.
For the rest of the day the team tiptoed around me, sensing my sadness. There was part of me that was angry at them for thinking that I couldn’t handle a few bad dates. But, they were right. I couldn’t handle the sting of rejection or the disappointment of a date that didn’t live up to my expectations.
Emily always seemed to know how to cheer me up, so I did attempt some small conversation in the break room while we were both getting our coffee. She never gave me any pity like the others who just flashed me sad looks, unwilling to make any effort to help- or like Garcia and Morgan, they helped in the wrong way even if their intentions were pure.
Her solution to my problem did make my ears perk up a bit, “Hey- I saw that you’ve been down and that it’s been about the online dating Morgan and Garcia made you get into.” I nodded my head in confirmation then gesturing for her to continue while I poured copious amounts of sugar into my drink. Emily opted for mostly cream instead of sugar, stirring her coffee a little, then continuing her thought,”I wondered how you would feel about being set up on a blind date. It’s someone I know so maybe that would make you feel better about going on it? Instead of having to deal with technology that I know you despise.”
Emily had a way of seeing exactly how I was feeling and not just spitting out facts without solutions like the others. Her solution made me nervous of course, there would probably never be a date that I wouldn’t be nervous for. However, this option made me feel a little bit more hopeful about my prospects in the dating pool. It was someone that she knew and trusted enough to suggest them as a potential match for a coworker. Emily didn’t trust easy, I could trust her judgment on this despite my nerves.
I gulped down a large sip of my overly sweetened coffee, collecting my thoughts before then answering, “Alright- I’ll go.”
The date that I was supposed to go on was at a quaint cafe near work. Emily had even made the effort to make sure that I had been there before so I might be more comfortable.
At first I had been extremely excited for the date, even going so far as to pick out my outfit. I would have worn my purple button up, that was the one I got the most compliments in. Emily had told me some stuff that my date was interested in so I made sure to brush up on my knowledge by reading about the topics. I had even called back to the restaurant menu in my mind, preparing myself by picking out what I wanted beforehand. On one of my dates set up through the dating app I had stumbled on my choice for food, making the person unnecessarily snappy. I had to cover all my bases to minimize potential awkwardness on my part.
Self doubt began to creep in after I had gotten fully dressed. I had gotten ready way too early in anticipation for the date, now sitting on my couch tapping my foot impatiently. I looked at my watch that sat over my long sleeves watching the clock tick closer and closed to when I was supposed to leave.
Biting my lip in worry, my mind couldn’t help but wander over into my self doubts. I couldn’t help but ask myself why anyone would want to date someone as tall and lanky as me- or why would someone want to go on a date with someone that couldn’t keep their mouth shut about random topics that no one cared about.
My self doubt swallowed any confidence that I had begun to build up in preparation for the date. I knew Emily would be furious with me tomorrow when I went into work, I didn’t want her to find out through her friend though. Deciding to get it over with I pulled out the phone I never used and texted her, telling her that I wasn’t coming. I told her to give my regrets to my date, who at this point was probably waiting patiently for me at the cafe. Sighing in defeat I then retreated into my bedroom again, crawling under my covers.
——
Emily hadn’t been furious with me- well that was a lie, at first she had stomped up to me the next morning to chew me out. She became more disappointed than anything when she found out my reasonings. She hadn’t mentioned anything about how the person I was supposed to be going on the blind date with felt. Not that I really wanted to hear about it, it would only make me feel worse. All I got from her was a small remark mumbled under her breath, “Idiots- the both of you…”
For the next few weeks I tried in vain to push thoughts of my failed blind date out of my head. I had avoided going in the general direction of the cafe. Luckily I took the metro everyday to work otherwise I’d have to drive by it every day, and I already hated driving.
I was at the bookstore for used booksjust around the corner from the cafe that was supposed to hold my date a few weeks ago. This was the closest I dared to go near it in a while. Since then I hadn’t been able to go there anymore, even though I loved the coffee there. Immense guilt had wormed its way into my brain when I had tried to order something there a week ago. All I had done was stammer at the cashier before bolting out of there, just another addition on the list of embarrassing things that I’ve done in my life.
I was flipping through an old edition of pride and prejudice out of boredom, there hadn’t been anything interesting stocked on the shelves since I had last been here. Then a voice piped up through the air that had a bit of dust flying through it,
“Excuse me, sir- if you’re still looking at that book would you mind if I looked at the ones on the shelf behind you?”
It took me a second before I realized the person was talking to me. I then removed my eyes from the book to blink up at them a few times, then registering what they had said to me and moved out of the way.
Their eyes were still glued to mine, the bookshelf behind me that they had wanted to look at forgotten. An awkward chuckle was all we both could seem to manage as we looked each other up and down. Emily had shown me a picture on her phone of my date so I would have been able to spot them at the restaurant. My cheeks flushed hard once I realized who was standing before me. There was no doubt who this was, the date I had stood up the night before.
Silence then fell between us and not the pleasant kind, it was most definitely awkward. I couldn’t imagine how they must have been feeling after I hadn’t shown up last night. They probably had sat
“Um- hi…” They spoke hesitantly, wringing their fingers in trepidation. My jaw opened and closed a few times, trying to come up with anything to say.
“Hi!” Was all I could manage to squeak out, plus a small wave in their direction.
They wrung their fingers a few more times, seemingly trying to come up with a response. I was surprised they hadn’t hit me with one of the books near them out of anger. It would be a normal response to being stood up for a date, the trepidation and silence just served to unnerve me further. Eventually they spoke again, saving me from anymore awkward silence which in my opinion was worse than awkward conversation, “Um- sorry for um, standing you up uh- a few weeks ago.”
That made my eyes bug out of my head- they had done the exact same thing as I had? Insecurity soon swept in, trying to tell me exactly why they had not shown up without hearing their side of the story. I looked down at the book I was holding, reading a few words for a moment of reprieve. Taking a deep breath I asked quietly, not admitting to my own faults yet, “W-why did you um- not go? If you don’t mind me asking…”
A deep sigh was what I got at first, one that obviously had a lot of stress in it. They then did provide me with an explanation, despite their obvious embarrassment, Well- It had nothing to do with you- a simple explanation would be saying it was my insecurity’s fault.”
Not that I would ever want anyone to feel insecure, but I would admit that them saying that did make my own stress melt away. They had not gone for almost the exact same reasons that me. I decided to be upfront, giving them my own reasoning- though I wasn’t even sure they realized that I hadn’t gone as well. “I don’t know if Emily told you, but I um- stood you up as well. It wasn’t because of anything bad! It was really for the same reason as you.”
They then broke out into giggles after they had processed my words for a second, which were much more relaxed than the awkward ones from before. I didn’t blame them, it was a pretty funny coincidence that we’d both stand each other up only to run into each other not knowing what we had done.
“I feel like we’re in one of those cheesy Hallmark movies right now…” Their comparison only confused me, I had no clue what they were talking about.
“What’s a Hallmark movie?” More giggles came from them at my questioning, though for once I didn’t feel like I was being laughed at. I felt like they were laughing at the whole situation, not at me specifically like so many people had often done. Also, I couldn’t help but admit to myself that their giggle was very cute.
Once their giggles had subsided a little they asked me something that almost no one would ask the person that had stood them up, “Maybe I could tell you over a coffee? If you want to of course- Emily told me about how much sugar you like in it.”
My interest was peaked, making me further regret having stood them up in the first place. Though I tried to push that thought out of the way considering we had both done the same thing. It was time to let that go so I could go on a date with them finally. Seeing them in person and being able to glimpse part of their personality made me want to know more.
“Alright- sure.” I set down the book I had been passively reading, now completely disinterested in it. There was something far more interesting in front of me now compared to a classic book I had read over ten times.
We both walked around the corner, to the cafe that we had originally had our date scheduled at. Conversation flowed easily between us, showing me that Emily had been totally right to set us up initially. Her words now made sense to me, we were both a couple of idiots.
We then got our coffee, which had been much smoother of a transaction compared to the last time I had been here. I took note of how much sugar and cream they liked, just in case we were going to do this again. Sitting down at the closest booth I then asked, “So tell me about Hallmark movies?”

hii may i request the pretty setters reaction to their s/o, who is usually quiet, performing like a powerful/badass kpop type dance? thank uuuu
Pretty Setters x shy! s/o who dances? idk i'm bad at naming things
a/n: i don't know the first thing about kpop sorry if that shows in this lol
Kenma Kozume
You and him have a lot in common, and you bond over this quite a lot
Like,, you both have a lot off common interests, you like the things he likes and vice versa, you're both pretty quiet
You’re both pretty and quiet
But if one of you really likes something, they’ll try and get the other into it as well, you got him playing Animal Crossing, he introduced you to apple pie
You basically know that if you like something, he’s gonna like it too
So when he sees you dancing for the first time he's like oh hell no
I am NOT getting dragged into this absolutely not no no no
I feel like out of all of these guys he would be the least surprised to find out that you have another side to you, he has another side to him we just don’t see it in the anime he does I swear
Although he r e f u s e s to join in with you, he definitely enjoys watching from the sidelines ;)
And you only dance in front of him, no one else, he's the only one who knows about your more confident side
Even if he wasn’t as surprised as the other boys on this list, he was still pretty surprised
The bar wasn’t set very high
You wouldn’t see that he’s surprised though, and he wouldn’t tell you, he just smiles to himself, thinking about how proud he is of you
He’ll even look up from his game a little more often if you’re dancing in front of him
Akaashi Keiji
You and your friends often learn kpop dances and post short clips of it online
But you don’t tell anyone about it, you’d be absolutely mortified if anyone you knew found them
Spoilers: You’re about to be absolutely mortified
Out of everyone to see them, Bokuto, your bf’s best friend, and close friend of your own, finds your TikTok and sees ALL you guys’ videos
He totally spam likes ur acc smh
So as soon as you see his name in your notifications, the panic sets in
Ohmygodhesgonnashowakaashinononono
When Bokuto shows him, they’re both kinda in shock
Like, they both thought that they knew you pretty well, but they had NO IDEA that you could or would dance like that
You’re kinda dreading going to school with him the next day, because you know he’s gonna mention it
So when you see him, you brace yourself for him to say something about it, at least to ask you why you didn’t tell him, but he just?? Doesn’t??
You keep looking at him, you can’t tell if he’s not saying anything because he knows that you didn’t want anyone to know about it, or if he genuinely doesn’t know
He notices this, and by the end of the day, when you’re on the millionth glance his way to see if he’s showing any recognition to you, he has to say something
“If you’re worried about me judging you, I think it’s really cool that you can do that”
On the outside, he seems super calm but on the inside he's like
Where did you learn to dance like that? Did you teach yourself? No, there’s no way you taught yourself, so who taught you?
He’s so impressed like?? You have a WHOLE other side to you that he didn’t know about?? You’re so cool??
Sugawara Koushi
He would be your BIGGEST fan
✨ ultimate hypeman ✨
He just loves you so much and anything that makes you happy? Makes him happy too
When he saw you dance for the first time he was really surprised, because, of course you’re super shy, HOW did you change into such a badass like that??
But once he gets over the initial shock of it, he will ALWAYS be cheering you on
He doesn’t really get it, but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t appreciate it
If you’re struggling to learn a new routine and are about to give up?? He’s there to hype you tf up
If ppl take the piss and you’re feeling down about it?? He’s there to hype you tf up
Wish i didn’t have to make that point but ppl are mean >:(
he knows you’re the best, and he wants to make sure you know it as well
He won’t join in unless you b e g him, but he’s always happy to give a second opinion and constructive criticism
Once he kinda learns what’s going on, he might even start sending you videos and being like
“You would look so good if you learned this”
You fall in love with him all over again I swear, because he’s taking the time to learn about something you love 🥺🥺
It never fully stops surprising him how you can go from 0 to 100 and then straight back to 0 again within an hour
Like when you’re dancing you look?? So badass?? But when you’re not?? You’re super quiet??
He is l i v i n g for it I tell you that 💅
Tobio Kageyama
You come to him with the idea
He’s tried to teach you volleyball before, so why don’t you teach him something that you enjoy as well?
And then it’ll be a two in one of two of your favourite things; him and dancing
He’s not too keen on the idea at first, but you look so excited, how can he say no
This is the most passionate about something that he’s ever seen you be, he doesn’t wanna let it go to waste
And if you love it, he knows it’ll be great
So at first you gotta demonstrate, because not only is he clueless school-wise, he also has no idea about anything else
He probably doesn’t listen to music at all anyway, so you might have to even explain to him what kpop is lmao 🥴
He’s still a little confused, so you show demonstrate the dance that you wanted him to learn with you
I stg all his thoughts depart
If there was any to begin with that is (probably not)
He’s so a m a z e d
Because?? 1. You can dance like that 2. You look gorgeous when you dance like that 3. Who are you and what have you done with my quiet s/o????
He’s ABSOLUTELY not complaining tho
But,,, when you try to get him to learn,,, ✨no✨
You thought that maybe he would be good at it, because of how graceful he looks on the court, but, maybe you were wrong lmao
Mans has two left feet and NO rhythm and you’re about to give up and crash when he says
“Maybe this isn’t for me, but I’d really enjoy watching you do it again”
He loves how talented you are so much, especially because he’s tried it for himself and knows just how difficult it is
Tooru Oikawa
While he’s at volleyball practice after school, you and your friend meet in an empty classroom so that you can each wait for your bfs to finish their club activities
She’s dating Iwa bcos best friends dating another pair of best friends is the cutest thing to me idk
Because you two know that you’ll be alone, you’re not afraid to go all out practicing the you guys’ favourite dances
You could NEVER do this in front of anyone else, you’d get too embarrassed, but when it’s just you two, and you know that there’s no one around to see, you Go For It™
You two are working super hard on perfecting this one dance that’s been bothering you for weeks
Working so hard that you completely forget the time, and that your bfs will be waiting for y’all
How convenient lmao
So when Oikawa and Iwaizumi come out of the volleyball clubroom and can’t see you two around, they head on over to the classroom that they know you go to while they’re at practice
As they’re coming towards the classroom, they can hear music playing in there, and just poke their heads around the door
At first they’re both in shock, like seeing you, who’s usually so quiet and reserved, going all out on a dance like that??
You two are facing away from them and filming, with your phone propped up on the windowsill, so you don’t notice that they’re watching
Iwa’s pretty happy with staying there and just watching but Oikawa is totally like “ooooh I know this one!!”
So he comes and joins in behind you two
You two are so caught up in your dance that you don’t even see his image on the phone screen in front of you, until you finish dancing and turn around to see your boyfriend, still sweating from vball practice and looking at you in absolute wonder
You try to hide away from him because your boyfriend, who would never expect you to be performing kpop dances in front of a camera in an empty classroom just saw you doing just that and oh GOD that’s embarrassing
He’s like OH HELL NO you are NOT getting away from me now I know you can dance like that COME BACK
Kanji Koganegawa
I feel like he would like to date someone who’s a little more on the quiet side, because he’s super loud and energetic, and he needs someone to balance that out
AND HE’S A TOTAL KPOP STAN FITE ME ON THAT
Him and Oikawa are the biggest kpop stans in the Miyagi Prefecture 💅💅
So I think that he’s gonna be the one to approach you and be like hey we should try this lmao
Like, expecting you to say no, so when you say yes he’s so surprised
You both start learning it separately, so that you’ll be almost done learning it when you see each other
He’s super excited, but then he also knows that you’re quite shy and quiet, so he’s not really expecting you to go all out on this
Oh no he was wrong
When he sees you again for the first time after he suggested it, you both perform as far as you’ve learned to the other, to see how much you have to learn
He goes first, and just imagine him,,,just picture it in your mind 🥺🥺
He’s kinda bad, but a+ for effort
And then it’s your turn
He suddenly panics, because he thinks that it’s quite out of character for you, and he might of accidentally peer pressured you into it lmaoo
You brush him off, and when you start dancing… damn
He’s in shock
If you looked inside his brain right at that moment all you would see is just ????
When he gets over his initial surprise, he kinda realises like,,, that’s hot WHY have i never seen this before
You put him to shame and he knows it
When you’re done he just stares at you
You’re kinda nervous because??he’s not saying anything??
And then he kinda explodes
He’s all like
“WHY did you not tell me you could dance like that that seemed so unlike you??we could have been doing this for months??I didn’t know you could dance like that???what??
Kiss him to shut him up please thank you

A Fun Day in Akihabara
This time I have a drabble involving one of the lovely 1-B ladies. In the first sentence, there’s a reference about Komori that’ll be explained later on in something else I’ve written. I hope y’all enjoy the drabble! ^-^
After the other girls of Class 1-B found out about your promise to go shopping one day with Komori, it didn’t take long for them to make similar requests. It caught you off guard at first, but you were happy that all the girls wanted a chance to hang out with you.
It’s for that reason that you’re visiting Akihabara with Tsunotori this particular Sunday. Apparently, the blonde is a big fan of anime, so this is one of her favorite places to visit during her free time.
Once she found out that you also enjoyed watching anime, Tsunotori was quick to invite you to the anime capital of the world. Since you had never visited Akihabara, you were naturally quite excited about visiting someplace new.
On the way to Akihabara, you and the younger girl chat about your favorite anime. While you haven’t watched as many as her due to your unusual upbringing, you occasionally got to watch those kinds of shows if they happened to be on TV during the times you were allowed to watch TV.
You really started watching anime after coming to UA. It was a great way to kill time while you were living in Aizawa’s apartment, and when you came to live at the dorm, both Uraraka and Todoroki enjoyed watching it with you. So, it wasn’t unusual for the three of you to start a new anime together and watch the whole series whenever you all had the free time to do so.
That’s why you’re hoping to find a new series to buy and bring back to the 1-A dorm. While you’re sure not all of the students will be interested, you think it’d be fun if some of them chose to join you, Eri, Todoroki, and Uraraka.
Of course, you don’t plan on just watching anime with Class 1-A. Since Tsunotori really wants to find a new series to watch with you, you figure that’ll mean watching it at her dorm. It makes you wonder how many of her classmates would be interested in watching anime.
When you both finally arrive at Akihabara, Tsunotori immediately guides you to one of her favorite stores which, in her opinion, has some of the best selections of DVDs and really great deals. All you can do is stare in amazement at the sight of walls covered in anime merchandise.
As the two of you are heading for the DVD section, you and the blonde examine all the anime figurines with intrigued eyes. Most of them come from anime you haven’t seen, but you do recognize a few characters.
One such figurine you recognize is the one of Sailor Moon in her trademark battle pose. Nostalgia washes over you when you recall watching that show when you were a kid.
Tsunotori beams when she sees which figurine has caught your interest. “Sailor Moon has always been one of my favorite anime! It’s super popular in America!”
The corners of your lips curve upwards. “I can believe it. It’s a great show. Although, I don’t think I ever watched all the episodes. I think I’ve only seen the first two seasons.”
Your words make her gasp, “You haven’t seen all of it, Sensei?! That’s not good! You have to watch them all, or you won’t get the full experience!!”
Chuckling, you nod your head. “That’s true. Maybe I should buy that series too if I can find it for a good price. I think Eri will enjoy it.”
She grins, “Yes! Eri-chan will definitely love it!”
Not long after that, you both find the DVD section. Since it’s currently on your mind, you first look to see what seasons they have of Sailor Moon. Lucky for you, they have all of them, but you decide to just buy the first three seasons for now.
After you find those, you turn to check on Tsunotori and see her intently studying a DVD case. Curious, you move to approach her and notice that the name of the anime she’s currently looking at is Gatchaman Crowds.
Before you can question her about it, the blonde gives you a big smile. “I want to watch this with you, Sensei! Can we?!”
A matching smile forms on your lips. “Sure. What’s it about?”
Tsunotori excitedly explains what she learned from the summary on the back of the DVD. Apparently, this anime is about heroes who wear special suits to fight aliens.
Rather than have special abilities thanks to Quirks, these heroes can do special transformations that result in them gaining robotic suits that give them powers to fight. How intriguing. No wonder Tsunotori appears so interested in the anime.
Now that an anime for you and her to watch together has been decided, all that’s left is to find something that you and Class 1-A can watch together. Technically, you could choose Sailor Moon for that, but you figure not too many of the guys would be interested in it.
Todoroki would definitely watch it since he’ll try anything at least once. The only other guys off the top of your head that you think might like it are Mineta, Kaminari, and Sero because of all the pretty girls in the show. Of course, there is a chance that everyone will watch it, but you want to buy another anime just in case.
For awhile, you and Tsunotori look at DVDs, with her pointing out all the ones she has watched and enjoyed. Eventually, the blonde holds out a DVD for an anime called Persona 4.
As you examine it curiously, she beams, “You should pick this one, Sensei! It’s very good, and the video games for this series are really popular!”
You immediately perk up when you hear the anime is based off a video game. Giving the summary a closer look, you see it’s about a group of high schoolers investigating mysterious murders while having to fight strange creatures while in a world inside a TV.
A grin appears on your face. “This looks awesome, Tsunotori. I’ll take it. I also wanna see what the video game is all about.”
She claps her hands excitedly. “Yes! I know the perfect store!”
After you both make your DVD purchases, Tsunotori brings you into another large store that’s full to the brim with video games. Your eyes widen in wonder, not having seen so many video games in one place before.
It doesn’t take long for the two of you to find where the Persona games are. That’s how you discover that their games are for the PlayStation consoles. Luckily, there’s Persona 4 Golden for the PS Vita which is a console you bought a few months ago after Midnight suggested that you try out otome games.
After you find the game, Tsunotori mentions that, while she knows how popular the game is, she hasn’t actually ever played any of the Persona games. Apparently, when she was little, she did play video games, but once she started middle school, the blonde stopped playing so she could dedicate all her free time to training for the UA entrance exam.
Naturally, after hearing that, you are quick to tell her that she is always welcome to come over to the 1-A dorm to watch you play the game. Or, if she wants to play it herself, you’d be more than happy to let her try it after you finish playing.
Her eyes grow large. “Really?! You don’t mind?!”
Smiling, you move to pat her head. “Not at all. It’s not like I play my PS Vita all the time. I mostly play it when me and Todoroki are playing otome games together.”
A large grin forms on her lips as her eyes sparkle with excitement. “I’d really love that if that’s okay! And, I’d really love to play otome games with you and Todoroki-kun if I can! Can I?!”
With a laugh, you gesture for her to follow you. “Of course, it is. He and I aren’t very good at them, so you’ll probably be a big help. While I was planning on making this game my last purchase for the day, I think I can squeeze in a new otome game. Wanna help me pick it out?”
Tsunotori cheers as she falls into step beside you. “Yes! I’ve always wanted to try playing one! I hope we can find a really fun one!”
Your grin grows. “With the two of us working together, I’m sure we won’t have any trouble. We’ll find a great game for sure.”
Even if you don’t, you’re sure you’ll still have a blast playing. After all, how can you not when you’ll be playing with such great company?

Dating Lena Luthor (Everyday can be our Valentine’s)
Tumblr media
Request: Prompt Lena x reader, the reader forgot it's Valentine's Day and Lena is mad because it's her first time celebrating valentines. So reader does a surprise romantic date night
a/n: Ahhhh this was so cute to do LOL. I was thinking about this all during work wondering wth I was gonna do with this!! Firstly, I don’t really think Lena would be angry, per se, so I switched this up just a tiny bit! There’s a funny little easter egg I put in here because I’m absolute katie trash, tell me if you find the Funny Joke. Thanks for reading btw y’all! You give me something to do lol. Requests are always open, and I’ll get to them hopefully every other day!
- - - - -
So maybe you were a little bit of an asshole. Actually, you are definitely the tiniest bit an asshole. You’re a good enough person, and you show basic human decency because you surely weren’t raised to be a farm animal with no manners. You’d even go so far as to say you care about people if they’re really hurting enough for you to feel compelled to get into that uncomfortable place of relating to them and having to comfort them.
You’re a bit rough around the edges, you’d admit it. You’ve had a grand total of 3 and a half arguably serious relationships in your very eventful, very promising life so far and it’s not like you were emotionally stunted for the entirety of them all, not really. Sometimes you’d admit you are a pretty emotionally constipated person - you lose track of your days as often as you lose track of your housekeys, and if someone asked you to retell something from last week, well, you’d let them know that frankly you don’t even remember what the last thing you ate was. But you knew how to make your girl smile and that’s what counted. You’re kinda good when it comes to the bigger stuff. That’s all that should matter, right?
When you walked into CatCo for work in the morning, you greeted everyone who’d spare a glance at you, even spent some time making small talk with some of your deskmates. There was a restlessness in the air that made you think people were even itching to talk to you. Everyone had seemed peppier today more than usual. That was surely a weird thing to note, even for a place like CatCo (especially for a place like CatCo). There was an abundance of flowers sitting on desks and because Miss Grant has a very vocal opinion-decreed-official-but-not-really-official-policy regarding cheap-smelling things in her offices, even when arguably flowers are the most natural scent in the world (how possibly can they be cheap?), all the bouquets and arrangements were relegated to a place by their desk inhabitant’s feet where they could be admired in relative peace.
For what it was worth, the place seemed more alive than it ever has been - not that Miss Grant was the worst person to work for, quite the contrary, everyone was just too intimidated or outright terrified of her that any semblance of fun was  overpowered by the fear of messing something up. Miss Grant was nice, in her own quiet, borderline abrasive but never power hungry way. You could tolerate just one day of people being in a good mood.
You felt a slight gust of wind blow your way as you sat at your desk, and you really ought to think you should warn Kara about slowing down her speed just a notch more.
“Hi! (Y/N)! Golly it’s a great morning isn’t it. Oh, why aren’t you wearing red?”
“Kara, does it look like I own any coloured clothing other than black? Anyway, why would I?”
Kara’s eyes widen comically and she inhales sharply, and you almost dismiss it as another purely Kara Thing. You take note of her white pants and pink blazer, unbuttoned to reveal a simple white button up, and you grudgingly concede that this nerd always looks so stupidly cute.
Before you could get yourself irrationally angry at the multitude of Kara’s Preppy Looks, you wonder if Miss Grant has a special occasion that you didn’t get the memo for.
“Wait, is something happening today? Did Miss Grant finally acquire that small-town newspaper outside of Metropolis?”
Kara tilts her head at you, fully reminiscent of a confused child, and her eyebrow quirks ridiculously high up that it could disappear into her hairline.
“Hm, that’s not right. I would have heard about that one. I know she was saying how everyone should dress in red to symbolize the blood spilled of her competitors, but even that’s a bit much.” You say more to yourself than to Kara.
Kara opens and closes her mouth, and opens and closes it again seemingly at a loss to say something as she squints very severely at you. Your eyes widen marginally, taken aback by Kara’s silent assessment.
“Are you alright? Did I offend you or something?”
Kara’s jaw drops as she gasps indignantly. You were only half-kidding but you think you might as well have offended her unwittingly at some point in your very brief conversation.
“Seriously, are you okay? What’s wrong?”
“I really hope you’re joking.” Those words were startlingly ominous, and especially so coming from someone like Kara.
“What the hell do you even mean? Kara-”
Before you can ask any more of her, Cat Grant’s voice reverberates through the office. It’s impressive, considering she’s a good thirty feet away from you and inside an enclosed elevator when she speaks up.
“Keira, please tell me you found out who plastered that cheap Wal-Mart stock paper heart onto my window and that you have collected their resignation letter. Do not think that because I’m not here I don’t have eyes everywhere. I can practically smell the cheap scotch tape sticking eternally to my windows.”
“No DIY decor, already on it, Miss Grant. But don’t you think that’s a bit-”
Kara follows after Miss Grant, falling into step behind her rather impressively as Miss Grant hands off her coat to Kara and Kara hands her latte to her, balancing  various papers, clothing, and a bag in her arms.
Why is everyone so weird.
You boot up your computer and check the messages on your phone while you wait. An unread message from Lena fills your screen.
Lena: “I can’t wait to see you tonight.”
You smile at your girlfriend’s simple text. You know it’s tired and not very fair to keep having presumptions of your girlfriend based solely on her career, but you can’t help it. She’s a softie and an absolute sucker for romance and you never would have suspected it - certainly not the first few times she’d spent the night at your place and she’d untangle her hair from her high bun, shucking off her heels and stripping off her CEO persona. It always mesmerized you, it still does, which is why you’re smiling at your phone like an absolute nerd at her easy vulnerability when it comes to you.
you: “I can’t wait to see your beautiful face, pretty lady ;) Don’t make my day any more difficult than it needs to be...”
You remember all too well the very incriminating texts that have recently bombarded your phone with startling frequency. Lena being her own boss certainly had its perks, and spending an awful amount of time sending suggestive messages and downright not-safe-for-work pictures certainly was a perk in itself.
You’d wondered how often anyone would see you looking around suspiciously with the biggest shit-eating grin on your face. It begged the curiosity of who knew you were practically sexting sometimes? You figured you were probably a bit obvious, Kara has spent her fair share of your shift grimacing and blushing furiously whenever you meet her eye. It’s strange because it’s not like part of her powers involves mind-reading, did it really not take a genius to figure you out? Maybe with her super hearing and- oh. That might explain a little bit. In fact, that might explain a lot. Gross. You are not going to broach that conversation with her.
Lena: “Hmmm, that’s no fun...”
You smirk down at your phone. It is far too early for this teasing bullshit, but Lena Luthor lives on her own time and the universal conventions of decency wait for no one, apparently.
Lena: “What if I’m in the mood to be bad?”
you: “I guess I’d have to teach you a lesson about what happens when you tease me all day”
Lena: “It’s settled, let’s call it a date.″
you: “you’d call anything we do a date, love LOL”
Lena: “Well then let’s make it extra special tonight ;)”
you: “looking forward to it, you big nerd”
You finally amend to put to your phone, seeing as though you spent a good few minutes flirting with your girlfriend instead of working. You figure even someone with as much money as Cat Grant wouldn’t appreciate you fooling around on company time.
“Ooooh, texting a fancy someone?” Winn’s voice comes from behind you as he swirls around to face you in his swivel chair.
“Yeah, weirdo.” You roll your eyes amused as Winn feigns hurt, but he continues nonetheless.
“Cool, you guys got any romantic plans tonight? Lena must be wicked excited.” He quirks his eyebrows suggestively, and you reach over to hit him on the arm hard enough to make him yelp.
“Gross. Even if we were I wouldn’t tell you anything.”
“Aww aren’t we superfriends? Don’t we go to share super secrets?”
“Definitely not of the bedroom variety.”
“Ah fine, I don’t think I want to know anyway. J’onn and Kara must try so hard to tune out all the adult stuff you and Lena get into whenever you guys are chilling at the DEO.”
You grimace and tune out whatever else Winn was about to say, “Oh god.”
“Really, you guys have no PG plans tonight? No extravagant displays of luxurious affection or cute date outings?”
“No, Winn. Why are you and Kara so interested in my life today anyway?”
Winn stares blankly at you before chuckling and turning back towards his computer. “Ah, ah okay! Sore topic. Sorry to pry. Just know I’m your pal, alright? You can tell me all the things.”
“Yes, rest assured, you are my pal, Winn.” You laugh despite yourself, shaking your head at your interaction.
You’d become quite busy the next few hours, all the bustle and general strangeness of the day wearing off as the remaining CatCo employees that stuck around waited until they could go home. You finally had a chance to lean back and check your phone’s notifications.
Lena: “When are you coming home? I miss you.”
you: “lol you’re so cute. Soon babe, don’t worry. Just a few things to finish up here. Are you done yet?”
Lena: “Yes, I managed to finish all that I needed today. I let Jess go early too, she’s got a cute date of her own.”
you: “oh man, no way! Is he cute? Is he worthy?? Is he an asshole? Do we need to threaten him?”
Lena: “If I didn’t know any better I’d say you’re more excited about Jess’ plans than ours. I’ve no clue, I merely assumed. Though she was acting particularly off today come to think of it.”
you: “you too eh? People were so weird today. More than they usually are. It must be a full moon.”
Lena: “I’ve no doubt that must be it. Tell me when you’re about to leave, darling. I’d very much like to get out of these restrictive clothes.”
you: “what? You won’t let me help you out??”
Lena: “If you take too long, you’ll regret far more than just that.”
Lena: “I will see you soon <3″
If you rushed to pack up a little quicker than you usually would and took off at a speed that could rival Kara’s, you’d never admit it to anyone. In your haste, you still managed to text Lena once you got into the packed streetcar and were notified that she was just on her way to yours from her apartment.
You had the chance to clean up your apartment a bit and get into your comfiest trackpants and your favourite hoodie when you heard knocking on your door. You opened the door and smiled as you opened your arms to your girlfriend. Lena immediately walked into your embrace and wrapped her arms around your middle, sighing happily as she did.
“You smell nice.”
“Thank you, I just got back from work.”
“And did work have half an army’s worth of perfume sprayed throughout the entire office to attract potential mates today?” She smirks as she makes her way around you to put her things away and make herself at home.
“I thought you said I smelled nice.”
“You do, I’m going to be stealing that sweater from you by the end of tonight.”
You chuckle at her nonchalance, “Naturally.”
She leans back on the back of your couch and crosses her arms easily. “Any hot plans for tonight?”
“You, me, and a box of pizza?”
“Make it two and you got yourself a deal.”
“Any other requests, beautiful?” You make your way slowly to Lena, eventually pinning her between your body and the couch. Your face is just inches away from hers and you can practically feel her next words against your skin.
“I was good today, need I remind you.”
“You were, actually.”
“What do I get for that?” She brings her lips close to yours and you can feel yourself being pulled for a kiss, but she doesn’t let you.
“Anything you want.”
“Oh, that’s dangerous.”
“Yeah, well, I want to make it all about you tonight.” You try again for a kiss, leaning in just too late as Lena brings herself away again. You grunt in mild frustration and she chuckles at your desperation.
“Are you sure? I see you’re getting a little impatient.”
Finally, she kisses you and you feel relieved. You’ve been waiting all day to be able to kiss your girlfriend. She’s the only sense of normalcy you have, no matter the absurdity that is your life or your individual circumstances. Her hands come up between your bodies as she latches onto the front of your shirt and tugs. Your hands come up to her hips and you push up against her lightly. You hear a soft groan from her lips and kiss it away.
You lose yourself in the kiss for however long you’ve been going at it, and she pulls herself away suddenly, leaving you moderately shocked at the abrupt loss of contact as she makes her way towards your kitchen.
“Let’s get Tony’s, I think I’m in the mood for a greasy cheesy-stuffed crust pizza.” She smirks as she takes in your indignant expression. You decide right then and there that, yes, in accordance to all science, religion, and all poetry that could be: Lena Luthor will be the death of you.
You call in your favourite pizza place and have two large greasy, cheesy-stuffed crust pizzas delivered to your door - one vegetarian for Lena (compromises, apparently), and one specialty butter chicken flavoured pizza that does an excellent job of tasting like it’s supposed to.
You’re the very definition of relaxed as you recline into your couch, Lena leaning into you as you wrap an arm around her. You both decided on one of the conspiracy theory documentaries on Netflix, deciding it was a good piece of relative garbage to consume.
Lena hums happily as she nuzzles into your side, taking a bit more of the blanket wrapped around you two as it uncovers a bit more of your legs.
You hear her mumbling from somewhere near your stomach, muffled by your sweater and the blanket and her general sleepiness. “Happy Valentine’s day.”
“What?”
There’s a long pause as you stare at Lena’s figure, no doubt with the intensity of burning into her skull if you had heat vision.
“I’m sorry, was that too weird? I shouldn’t have brought it up-”
“No...”
Lena finally turns her head to look at you questioningly. “What is it, love?”
You squint hard at the TV, the documentary long forgotten as you quickly run a reel of your entire day, pulling the brakes hard to a screeching halt when you put all the pieces together.
“Holy shit.” You mumble more to yourself than Lena.
“Babe, what’s wrong? Please, we can just forget about it-”
“No. No, no, no...”
“Oh my god, (Y/N), are you okay? Please talk to me.”
You sit up quickly, trying as best as you can to ease Lena off your lap as you continue to scratch at the surface of your struggling comprehension. You can’t believe yourself, you really can’t. You’ve certainly outdid yourself this time.
“I can’t believe it.”
Lena becomes increasingly alarmed at how upset you’re becoming and is at a loss for consoling you.
You finally look at her, an amalgamation of sadness, disappointment, and disbelief in your eyes. “Baby why didn’t you say anything?”
“I- I mean, I just did?”
“No, no way. This was supposed to be special.”
She looks at you, total confusion written on her face. “I’m sorry. I just thought- you didn’t bring it up? You hadn’t mentioned it all day and we haven’t really talked much about it, which is fair because that’s not really a thing one talks about in detail. I just thought you weren’t comfortable? I didn’t intend to upset you.”
“No, no baby that’s not it. I just- wow, I kinda suck. Aren’t you a little bit sad that I forgot?”
Lena’s lips quirk into a small smile. “Well, I mean I’ve never really had an official Valentine’s day so to speak. I would have liked to do something nice for you. But I wasn’t sure if you’d already made plans and I didn’t want to encroach on yours, and you didn’t give many hints about today at all so I thought maybe there was something else there. I didn’t want to bring it up if it was going to upset you.”
You click your tongue and lean across the couch to meet Lena halfway. You take her face in your hands and kiss her passionately. “You are too good for me, you know that?”
Lena smiles and kisses you again in between her words. “It’s okay, darling. As long as you remember my birthday.”
You pause in between your kisses, stopping as you stare almost cross-eyed into her eyes. The delayed reaction most certainly wasn’t going to help you. “Yeah, of course.”
She squints her eyes at you, backing away marginally so she can regard your entire face.
“You do remember when my birthday is, right?”
“How can I? You have like, three.”
She gasps in mock offense and begins to move away before you pull her back in, grinning at her reaction. You savour one last kiss before gently pulling yourself away and shaking your head. “Nope, I won’t have this. Get up.”
“What is it now?” She quirks her eyebrow at you quizzically, surely pondering what other nonsense you’ve come up with now.
“Get up baby, this is our date night.”
“I’d figured this night was, regardless of the calendar date?”
“Nope. Get your pretty little ass off that couch and help me, Luthor.”
Lena laughs as you take her in your arms and take her away from the couch. You pull the cushions off immediately and leave them in a heap on the floor as you take long strides toward your bedroom.
She calls after you from the living room.  “Where on earth are you going? What are you even doing?”
You come back with various blankets and push them into her arms. Lena looks down at them questioningly and watches as you stack the cushions against the couch, taking care that they won’t fall.
Eventually, you’re satisfied with your work and you’ve made a tiny fort in front of your TV with the blankets and couch cushions. Lena smiles at you, bewildered and her expression just begging for an explanation.
You notice her look and cock your head to your creation. “Well then? Get in. You said you’ve never made one of these in your life, ever. Right?”
“Yes...” She’s still looking on with perplexity but crouches down to get into your fort. You follow happily behind her.
“Well, I fucked up, so I’m going to try and fix it.”
Your girlfriend looks at you with utter adoration, her eyes slightly wet with unshed tears. “You are truly something else, (Y/N).”
You smile at her and let her kiss you, closing your eyes in content as you bask in the love you have for Lena - the woman who came into your life and challenged everything you thought you knew, and then changed you for the better.
“I am sorry. I feel like absolute shit. I’ve never forgotten before and I...” Your words trail off, and she looks at you, encouraging and understanding. You find the resilience to continue. “I just, I don’t know how it’s escaped me. It’s like, lately it’s this simultaneous experience of my days blurring together and looking forward to each day, you know?”
Lena doesn’t answer, she simply nods and silently prods you to continue.
“It’s no excuse, I don’t want it to be. It’s just that, I’ve been so happy now. I am so happy, and that is all thanks to you. I lose track of my days because I’m not counting down anymore to some unmarked end or whatever, or waiting until the next greatest thing happens to me that makes me feel alive for a few minutes. I don’t need that anymore because it’s you. You are the best thing that’s happened to me, and I don’t need to count down anymore.”
You hear her sniffle and you wrap an arm around her, as best as you can attempt with the lack of space in your fort.
“I just want to make it up to you. Because you deserve everything. And the people I’ve dated in the past have done things on Valentine’s day, and it makes me feel fucking terrible that I can’t even be assed to remember it for you. It makes me feel like I’ve let you down, and it sucks, because I want to be worthy of you. If I can’t even remember one stupid day, how am I supposed to be the person you need me to be?”
You inhale sharply, getting all your words out and finally being able to breathe. Lena’s freely crying now, tears pooling at the corners of her eyes and wetting her cheeks.
“No, (Y/N), look at this. You did this.” She points up at the fort surrounding you. “You did make it up to me. You realized it and did something about it. I could never hold this against you. I can’t be mad at you for this. You did nothing wrong, baby. And you are exactly the person I need.”
Lena’s hand comes up to your face and caresses your cheek, her thumb lightly treading circles on your skin.
“You are so good to me. You are good for me, (Y/N), and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend this day with.” She leans in to kiss you and your breathing steadies, allowing yourself this forgiveness.
There’s a pause in your kisses as you and Lena look at each other, the documentary long over as silence fills your apartment. Nothing but the sounds of the street and the humming of your appliances can be heard.
“You wanna know something that I haven’t done?” You ask her after a moment.
“What is that?”
“I’ve never had sex in a pillow fort before. I’m gonna fuck you in this one.”
You smirk as she she gasps scandalously, swatting your face away from her as you effectively ruin the moment. You laugh as you dodge her half-hearted attempts to keep you away, poking at her sides as she twitches and squeals at the onslaught.
“Hey, but honestly. What else haven’t you done before? You wanna do some watercolour painting tonight? I think I have a full set hiding around somewhere that I got from my best friend for my birthday. Or we could put together a puzzle, or something.” You contemplate the items you have in your apartment, and you’re about to move to look for them.
All Lena does is give you a long look, studying you before she pushes you down onto your back and moves on top of you, kissing you so that you both forget the time or the day by the time you’re both done with each other.

Chapter 14
Tumblr media
ANDRE
Throwing my head down on the pillow I ran my hands down my face and cleared some of the sweat from my skin. Last night was crazy! I don’t really remember what happened besides having dinner with Camila’s brother. I do vaguely recall going to the liquor store and then coming back to the house. After that, everything’s just..a faded memory. It must have been one hell of a night because my body is sore. The only times where I’m physically in discomfort is after working out or back during my army days.
“What did you give me?” I asked looking over at her. “One of your pills. I took one too so don’t think you were alone. Are you mad at me?” Camila asked with her eyes a little hazy. Her pupils are no longer dilated so I know she’s back to normal. It’s the after effects that have her a little fucked up. I’m just glad the girls aren’t home to see both of their parents high.
Shaking my head promptly I viciously rubbed under my nose like a fucking crackhead. “Nah I’m not mad. I’m just surprised that you drugged me. You’ve never had to do that before. So why last night?” “I just wanted to make the night last as long as possible. We were already out of it and we felt so good, I just- ugh, I’m the worst girlfriend in the history of girlfriends!” Camila exclaimed slapping her hands down on her face. “Relax Mrs. Dramatic, you’re a great girlfriend. Just don’t drug me anymore and we’ll be fine.” Reaching over I pulled her closer to me. “No I am. What woman in her right mind would slip pills into her man’s drink? You don’t hate me do?” She asked covering her face with her hair. Laughing at her dramatics I kept us close and hugged her. Her skin is warm, oily and sweaty. I actually am surprised I had a good time at dinner last night. Dani is a pretty cool dude. He’s so different from Victor even though they’re related. “I can’t believe we stayed up all night long. Are you tired at all? I know I am.” She grumbled. Mil flipped over and faced me throwing her arm across my midsection. She buried her face into my chest knowing the room is warm. I didn’t care to ask questions. I’d be a fool to fight my own desire to get some more sleep.
Mil and slept for a solid three and half hours and my god do I feel better. She and I have been laying in bed doing absolutely nothing. It’s only fifteen past eight meaning I’ve got another couple hours to kill here at the house.
“Ugh..my body hurts so much. My thighs, head, chest and back..good lord.” Mil complained sitting up and holding her head. "Walk it off champ.” I suggested, running my hand down her back. Mil took my advice and the sheet with her. She stood up, began walking with a limp in her first step breaking her perfect saunter to the closet. “I killed that pussy!” I exclaimed, seeing her continue to limp to the closet.
“Shut up.” She muttered throwing me the bird. “That’s what you get for drugging me. I bet you’ll never do it again.” I laughed, getting out of bed to follow behind her. I walked into the closet to see the sheet on the floor and her looking through my clothes. She pulled down one of my sweatshirts and pulled it over her head with it falling down to her knees. Mil stands at an average height but she’s real short to me. Seeing her wearing my clothes is never a dull moment. She reminds me of the time I found the girls playing dress up in our closet and I saw them wearing my collar shirts. I took a shit ton of photos and sent them to my brother, my mama, and their grandparents. I didn’t have to send Camila shit ‘cause she was in bed helping the girls figure out what to wear.
“That’s a nice outfit. You know who you remind me of right?” I teased watching her pick up the sheet and walk over to me. “Oh you bet it is a nice outfit. Sarcastic asshole.” She smiled fakely patting my chest and leaving me in the closet.
“When can I move in officially?” I asked seriously going to find some sweats to put on. Once I had some socks on too I headed to the bathroom. “Whenever you want to bring more of yours and Zoe’s things. I'm just waiting on you love.” Camila clipped her hair back and stood at the sink to do her thing. We both kept conversation to a minimum as we freshened up to make ourselves look decent. I don’t know what time it is anymore but I do know that I wanna eat. Going over to her dresser I skimmed through the drawers and found a pair of boxers that she could wear. “So what did you think of my brother?” She mumbled standing off the side.
Looking up I saw Camila tying her hair up in a ponytail while she stood against the wall. Handing her my boxers I closed the drawer and stood up straight. “Cool guy. He’s uh, not what I expected.” I responded calmly.
Camila slipped her legs into my boxers and pulled them up on her waist. Moving closer to her I tugged on the bottom of my sweatshirt to straighten it out. “That’s all?” Camila pressed tightening her little ponytail. “I mean what do you want me to say? I like him, he’s a cool guy. I can tell he misses you and Kenja very much. But from the outside looking in he seems like a great brother. You’re lucky.” Grabbing her left hand I put it to my lips and kissed her fingers. “He says that you’re a great guy and an even greater father. He says I made a good choice with you. So I think I’m the lucky one here.” Mil wrapped her arms around my neck and stood on her toes.
“Well thank you baby.” I grinned. Picking her up off of the ground I carried her out of the room and down the hall. Camila showered me in light affection the whole journey down the hall.
“Do you ever question if you made a good choice by taking me back? I know I ask this a lot but I like to make sure you don’t have any doubts.” Sitting down on the couch I slouched a little and spread my legs to get comfortable.
“No Dre never. I know with all of my heart that I made the right choice by taking you back. I don’t need anyone’s opinion of you but it’s always nice to hear what they have to say. The positive comments are all I listen to. And no do not think anyone says bad things about you because they don’t.” She laughed and sat back on my thighs with her hands on my shoulders. “As long as you’re not letting anyone dictate your feelings about me then I’m okay. I don’t want anyone putting bad images in your head about me or what type of man I am.”
Mil laughed faintly and shook her head fast from side to side. She leant forward, kissing my lips gently. “Oh honey, that doesn’t happen now nor will I ever let it. I love you dearly and never would I let anyone get away with talking badly about you. Put on Pretty Woman ok? I haven’t watched it forever and I could really use an escape from reality.” Mil requested climbing off my lap heading for the kitchen.
“Baby do you know any contractors?” She asked closing the fridge. “I know a few.” I answered kicking my feet up on the couch and laying back. “Can you have one of them come out here this weekend? I think I want to add on to the house.” Mil spoke over her cutting something. “I got you baby.” I yawned.
“Thank you.” She said softly and with a smile on her face. I kind of sensed that my answer made her happy. “You’re very welcome.” I watched TV for a while all by myself until I heard footsteps near. Looking up I saw Mil holding a bowl in her hand. Sitting up I curled one of my legs up to make room for her. “What did you make?” I asked, helping her settle into my lap with a small tray in her hands.
“I didn't make this. Your mom did. I just took whatever she had leftover. She says it yours and Matt’s favorite soup when you y’all were little kids. Try it.” She answered, holding the spoon up to my mouth. I cleared the spoon off only to go back for another bite instantly realizing this is my mom’s famous soup. When Matt and I were kids we suffered from low iron for a long time. So in the winter our iron levels would drop drastically. But mama had a solution. She would whip up a big pot of vegetable soup with tons of fresh herbs and spices. This soup is what kept Matt and I so healthy during the cold season and away from antibiotics.
Camila and I sat quietly watching Pretty Woman crushing this soup. She was focused on the movie but I was busy focused on her. She’s breaking out a little along her jaw line and she seems stressed out. Like just sitting here watching her eat is raising a ton of questions in my mind on how she’s doing.
“Cam..” Tilting her chin away from the tv I studied her face waiting for a response.
“Yes?” She said.
“What’s wrong? You don't seem like yourself and I'm worried. Is it that time for you again?” I assumed listening to how dumb I sounded. Taking another bite I placed the spoon down and picked up her chin to look up at me. “No it’s not that time. It’s just stress.” She shrugged laying her head back on my shoulder. Pausing our conversation I sat the empty bowl of the table and turned the volume down on the tv.
“What are you stressing about? Talk to me.” I encouraged, moving her hair out of her face.
She didn't say anything. She just kept herself on mute while she re-positioned her body in my lap.
“Is this about what happened to your classroom and who was behind it? Or is this about me in anyway?” I asked resting hand on her thigh and finally receiving her full attention. Mil ran her hand down my cheek, stroking my skin with her fingertips and stopped at my chin. She tugged on my neck signaling for me to bring my face to hers. “Camila talk to me. What's bothering you?” I pushed.
Instead of being an adult Camila choose to go in another direction. She kissed me hungrily, beginning to straddle my lap. I'm a little thrown off my game but did she just start something in the middle of a serious conversation? I didn't want to rain on her parade just yet I played along with her temporarily. When shit started to get hot and heavy I had to put a pause on things.
“Camila..” I exhaled, pulling us apart for a second. She hung her head in shame and stared down at her topless body. Picking up her chin again I forced her to look at me. “What is going on with you girl? And don't lie to me.”
Sighing deeply she put my sweatshirt back on and leaned forward to rest her head on my shoulder. “It’s him.” She whispered. That’s all she said. Wrapping my arms around her body I held her tight enough to bring her security. “Baby you can talk to me about whatever. No matter how ugly or uncomfortable it may be, I’m here for you.” Kissing the crown of her head I sunk into the couch listening to her sniffle.
“I have a history with Gerrard. Before I started seeing  Damon I was fooling around Gerrard and we hooked up. Weeks later and I was introduced to Damon. Once I started seeing Damon seriously found out that he and Gerrard were brothers. Damon never found out about his brother and I fucking but Gerrard held that secret over my head for a long time so I’d stay with Damon. He said if I ever hurt his brother or broke up with him, he’d tell people about us.” She began somberly.
“That’s what’s been bothering you? Why didn’t you just say so?” I asked.
“Because I know he’s going to find you and make up a ton of stories about me. I didn’t want you to hear about that from him. I was scared you would think of me differently. And after the whole picture thing..I still feel so dirty.” Mil sniffled wiping her cheek. I hate that she feels so guilty all the time because her past and how many she’s been with. “Camila I don’t care about nobody from your past. Anyone before me doesn’t matter. You could’ve slept with the queen of England and her mama and I wouldn’t care. Don’t you see?” Lifting her face to look at me I saw sadness in her eyes. “If I cared so much about your history I wouldn’t want to be here. I want have more kids with you and one day I’m gonna marry you. Please don’t let this become an issue any longer. The past is called just that for a reason, it's already happened. Camila I told you when we first started out as friends that I didn't care about your body count and quite frankly my dear, I still don't. I love you for who you are to me and our kids. No one can ever sway the way I feel about you. You understand me?” I preached.
“Yeah. I understand.” She nodded, wiping her face dry. Now that that is taken care of, she and I focused on the movie. She cuddled up to me and channeled all her energy into the film. By the time we chose to get up, it was time for us to get ready for the day. Camila went to clean up the kitchen and I went to start getting ready.
“Do you need some help?” Camila asked from close by.
“My tie could use some tying.” I mumbled tucking in my shirt. Camila walked into the closet and flipped on another switch to brighten the room. She stood in front of me still in my boxers and my sweatshirt. I continued to fix my clothes while she secured my favorite tie around my neck.
“There you go, handsome as always. You know..I always wonder if those women at your job try to spit game at you. I mean there they are dressed in their cute little black dresses and four inch heels. And then there’s you. Meah is the only one I don't have to watch out for which is a small weight off my shoulders.” Camila adjusted my tied and made it snug around my neck. “I don’t pay any of them no mind. When you come to see me, they’re jealous of you. But yeah, Meah is good people.” I muttered, zipping up my pants.
Camila left the closet and ventured off into the bathroom. Seconds later I heard the shower going. I have to get going but I'd rather wait until Mil is out of the bathroom. I fixed up the room and chose to kill time while she got ready herself. “You getting ready to leave?” Camila asked walking out of the bathroom in just a towel, brushing her hair. “Yeah, I waited for you. Come over here.” Sitting on her bed I pulled her close and put my hands on her hips feeling the warmth from her body seep into the towel. “Once I get finished with work I’m gonna go to the other house and pack up some of mine and Zoe’s things. After that's done, I’ll bring what I have back here with me. And I’ll make sure to talk to that contractor for you.” I said.
Camila set her brush down and ran her hands all over my hair. “Ok, I’ll see you later on this evening. Be nice to people and stay off the streets. I don’t want to get any collect calls saying you only have fifteen minutes or that I need to come identify your body.” She laughed.
I left home with a ton of love and guilt filling up my heart. She told me to stay off the streets and although I told her I was done, I'm not just yet. There’s still a few loose ends I need to tie up before I can finally kiss my old life good-bye. My only hope is that I can continue to be smart and not get caught up. I'm not dying anytime soon and I'm not going to jail.
I've been sitting at my desk for only an hour and so far I've managed to nap out an entire plan. This mission is a solo one. No help from anybody, just me. When it was me and my brother, we knocked out the hard shit together. But now it's the end of the road and all I need is myself. Aside from Cam letting me know she made it to work alright, no one has interrupted me. The alone time has granted me the advantage of getting so much done in so little time. My phone ringing on my desk broke my concentration. I hesitated to answer the call but did so once the ringing started to piss me off.
“Hello?” I answered.
“Mr. Tentree? It’s Meah.” She coughed roughly. “Oh hey, girl..how are you feeling?” I asked sitting back in my chair. “I’m still breathing but it’s hard. I went to my doctor yesterday to pick up my prescription for these antibiotics. I think I got food poisoning but I’ll be back at work for sure in the next three to four days. I just need more time to rest. My body is so weak from throwing up these last two days.” She explained leaving me to feel bad for her.
“Aw damn Meah. Don’t rush to come back, I need you completely healthy. Just uh, rest up and do what you gotta do to get better. Is there anything you need me to do?” I offered.
“You’re sweet but no Tasha will take good care of me. Listen..I have a temp that can fill in for me if you’re interested. My little sister Veronica is looking for some volunteer hours for her internship. Now..I know you hate strangers being in your space and up in your business but give her a chance? For me please..” Meah’s kind voice is tempting enough for me to give in but I'm not quite sure. “Meah..come on now. You know how I am. And besides no one is a better assistant than you are. You're the only woman here who doesn't spit game at me and that shit gets old. Like come on..everyone here has seen me walk through these halls with my girl and still these bitches don't know their place.” I managed to make Meah laugh which ended up making me do the same.
“You're a fucking trip dude. I'm the only woman at AeCom who’s not interested in men period. But please do me this favor. Veronica is not crazy, her record is clean, she’s super sweet and she's a fast learner. Even faster than me. She's graduating this coming spring and all she needs are a few hours as a temporary assistant in an office setting. And she’s great at doing what she’s told. She could use this opportunity. She’s supposed to be coming by your office around 10:30 tomorrow morning anyhow. Please?” Meah’s tone went from soft to desperate and I couldn't help but feel obligated to give in.
Sighing deeply I stroked my goatee and thought quickly. “Ok, I’ll let her fill in for you until you get better. However, you let her know that I'm not with that shit and she better come correct. I don't play about my money or my work so she better be on her A game. If she even tries to step out of line, she’s gone.” I warned getting back to work. “You’ll have no problems with her I guarantee. If she fucks up tell me and I’ll personally kick her ass for you. I’m serious too.”
Shaking my head at her nutty ass I loosened up my tie just a bit. “Alright crazy, calm down. I’ll see you when you get back. Feel better soon and tell Tasha I said hey for me.” “I will. Thank you and I’ll see you soon. Bye.” She chuckled followed by a cough and a female voice talking to her.
Ending the call I set my phone down and went over this plan once more. I’ve got some serious work to do.
May god bless me.

Spencer Reid x Gender Neutral Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Reader feels homesick after a particularly gruesome case. Spencer can’t buy a plane ticket, but he can try to help recreate part of home with them.
A/N: hey heyyyy- this is my eighth fic for my 30 fics in 30 days for April- I’m very nervous for this one to be honest- idk if it’s going to be a lot of peoples cup of tea- this one had me researching a lot lol since I have no clue about boats at all lol- I hope I did the request at least a bit of justice (sorry in advance if I fuck up any terms or anything) but I think I did pretty well with my research (I think). I originally got the request from @imagining-in-the-margins when she handed it over to me also thanks for some help on the folklore parts too! Here it is-
Tumblr media
I always want to hear from you guys so feel free to drop me an ask here- and hopefully y’all enjoy!!
Warnings: ~disclaimer lol I know nothing about boating~ Anyway into the other warnings- Takes place directly after season 3 episode 8 (Lucky with Floyd Feylinn) Spencer gets really fucking sea sick- poor baby, Reader is from overseas (originally Cornwall in the request but I made it a bit more vague) and Reader’s father is a fisherman
Main Masterlist Word Count: 1.8k
The air that floated around whenever I was out on the water, salty sea water or fresh salt water always seemed to breath life back into my lungs. The river that we were boating on was quite salty near its widest point, tides brought the saltwater in to mix with the fresh making the water quite brackish.
I was lucky to still live somewhat near water after I had moved over to America. I hadn’t had the luxury of picking exactly where I was going to live and work when I transferred to the FBI, I just happened to draw all the right cards. With my schedule I didn’t go out on the water as much as I used to, definitely not as often as I had as a child. I yearned often to feel the specific type of air people only felt when on the water, especially when my job got particularly gruesome.
Gruesome was a way to define the last case my team and I had been brought in to investigate. My stomach churned at the thought of our last unsub, his name couldn’t leave my mind and the images of his heinous acts certainly didn’t leave either. Floyd Feylinn Ferell had been his name, though I wished I could forever scrub it from my memory. His crimes were too vile that everything seemed to trigger a memory, specifically of the frozen corpses.
The team had even noticed how affected I was by the case, often sending me worrying looks whenever it looked like blood drained from my face over sheer shock- just like the corpses. Cases had been gruesome before, sure, but there was something about this one made me feel frozen by fear.
I needed air, and not just any old air.
Homesickness was another factor that was making me feel so ill. I hadn’t been back to my home in so long, the only time I spoke with my father was over the phone, no video chats at all. He was just as technophobic as Spencer, maybe even more so to be honest. My father’s life as a fisherman hadn’t made him exceptionally tech savvy. He did know how to work a phone now thanks to you, which was another similarity to him and Spencer. I had helped Spencer learn how to work his new smartphone just last week.
Spencer, my lovely boyfriend of a few months, wanted to help quell my dark thoughts as best as he could with all of his knowledge. His first solution was to always revert to books, which I didn’t mind, it only made him more special to me. He tried to find books that would remind me of home- and get my mind off of gruesome cases that were closed and shut cases.
Hotch had then suggested the team take a day off, just one. After weeks of back to back cases with little to no reprieve we’d finally get some time alone, even if it was only for a day. All I needed was one day to get on the water and cleanse myself of the negative thoughts I had been feeling lately.
It was actually Spencer that had first suggested this excursion. He had come to one of our dates with his arms full of pamphlets all about renting a boat for the day. He also had definitely read up about boats, I’d expect nothing less of Spencer. I had learned it was his way of subtly showing affection, researching anything that I even was passively interested in.
Spencer packed even more than I did when we set off on the day long date, packing to the brim at least one too many bags- to be honest he packed two too many bags.
Once we had gotten the boat out into the water, the relief was almost instant. It was like my body knew I was home. I wasn’t actually at home of course, but it somehow knew I was near the water again. Honestly, Spencer hadn’t been far off when he called me a mermaid on one of our first dates, I had gone on a ramble about my love for it.
The water wasn’t nearly as clear as where I had grown up, much more dull in my opinion. But, the breeze that danced across my skin as well as the water made me feel more at home then I had been in a long time. After letting the mist spray onto my cheeks for a while I looked over to check on Spencer, who was not doing well by the looks of it.
Spencer’s face was twisted up in a grimace, not used to being in a boat. Until I had asked him a few weeks ago, to make sure it would be safe to go out on the water with him, I hadn’t even been sure he could swim. I also wasn’t that surprised that he had this reaction, it would have been less of a problem if it was a boat that I had picked out and bought. But, I’d take what I’d get if only to be by the water.
He pretended to hide his urge to dry heave over the side of the small boat that I had rented for the weekend. He looked almost green at this point, I knew he was only staying for my benefit at this point making me a tad bit sad. Water definitely seemed to have the opposite effect on Spencer compared to me, being on the water always felt like instant relaxation to me.
I still, however, didn’t want him to feel any major discomfort like he was obviously feeling so I decided to pipe up since he wouldn’t tell me himself, “Are you sure you’re ok enough to stay, Spencer?”
He pulled his life vest around himself as tight as he could while crossing his arms around his stomach. It took him a second to answer and in that time I almost started to turn the boat around back to the bay.
“I’m fine!” He squeaked out and I could see a shiver run through him. If I had offered to turn the boat around he’d most definitely have given me a glare, not wanting me to turn it around for his own sake. I squinted my eyes in suspicion, he was not completely fine obviously, but if he was insistent on staying maybe I could find something to distract him from it.
“Do you want to hear a sea shanty or do you want me to tell a regular story?” I asked out into the wind, thinking that might distract him from his nausea.
“A story, but you can’t call them regular stories.” He teased back as well as he could with the urge to dry heave, as if he didn’t know what I had meant. I scooted a little closer to him before I prepared myself to tell my story.
Selkies were always the ones I started out with whenever I told the stories I had grown up with. Despite its dark undertones I had latched onto the story as a child, finding it similar to the mainstream perception of what mermaids were. Though I’m reality seals that could transform into humans were a far cry from mainstream ideas of mermaids, a Merrow would have been a better comparison.
I always gave Spencer the origins of the story, he liked to know exactly where they had come from and how I had heard about the story in the first place, “As you know by now the folklore about Selkie’s originates from Scotland. Well- let me think about what I haven’t told you about Selkies before…” I pondered for a moment before remembering an aspect of the Selkies powers I hadn’t educated Spencer on yet. There was no doubt in my mind that he probably had all this information stored away in his brain somewhere, it was nice to know that someone genuinely cared about the stories I liked to tell. “Selkies are immortal, but they can be killed by other creatures. And I know I’ve told you that part, but I haven’t told you that they are generally killed by sharks when they are in seal form.”
I then went into the whole lore surrounding Selkie’s immortality. My hands were waving around animatedly as I talked, just like how the small waves were rocking our boat. They had definitely calmed down by now, hopefully Spencer would feel better soon.
Once I finished my tale I beamed over at him, my mood had brightened significantly over this trip, even though I could sense that Spencer’s had not. Though the story might have helped, he seemed a little less sickly now. He then managed to ask again without puking, “Could you tell another story? Maybe about the Kelpies? Or the Pixies of Cornwall? You can pick anything though really, I love listening to your stories.”
My heart swelled enough from his words that I thought it might burst. I wouldn’t have expected anything less of Spencer, he always hunted for more knowledge about things he was maybe more ignorant about compared to other topics.
I opted to then tell him about the Kelpies, who were also water dwelling creatures, before moving onto the pixies. He even seemed to be getting attached to the same stories that you favored as a child, and even as an adult.
I looked over at him as I finished my last little bit of information that I felt I could muster up today. A smile filled with fondness crept onto my face, his fluffy hair strewn about. It was cute despite his lingering sea sickness.
His face was remarkably less green now, my stories must have soothed him which made me feel heat run to my cheeks. Each time Spencer took interest in my origins I felt deeper feelings bubbling up, that were more than what we had expressed yet. Instead of voicing my full feelings just yet, I leaned forward to give him a chaste kiss on the forehead. He may have not looked green anymore, but I’d wait to give him a kiss on the lips until after we got back to shore, just in case something was to happen.
“Can you sing now?” I knew that he was not requesting me to sing any silly old song. He wanted me to sing the sea shantys that my father had taught me as a child. Not that I minded his request, I’d do anything to make him happier and I loved singing them anyway.
I smiled brightly as I guided the boat back to shore while I sang, already feeling lighter. It had not just been the water this time that made me feel better, it was also because of Spencer. He had taken so much care to help me feel more connected with home, loving to learn about your origins.
