hi u dont have to answer this but since ur the only swiftie i follow and ur generally pretty accommodating to stupid questions can i ask you. What exactly was going on with that one swiftie story about that person who refused to enlist (?) and then went to jail for it (?) i never heard any details bc by the time i got on sm it was long over and only sometimes mentioned and also its probably fake but i still would like to know. If u have the time or anything

tl;dr: in like 2018 this swiftie disappeared from twit for like three months and when she came back she said she had been in prison for refusing to serve in the idf, went viral, did some interviews, blah blah blah. however there’s some weird stuff about her story that suggests it might not be true, but nothing substantial enough to confirm that: weird information about the prison, dates not matching up, international travel in the days leading up to her arrest, the possibility that she might not have even been in israel at the time (if at all). she’s also a compulsive liar and is known for deleting tweets/accounts so it’s hard to find much evidence of anything. i had some experiences with her before everything happened and found that she wasn’t a very pleasant or truthful person and had a habit of backtracking/spreading misinformation, so i’ve always been very skeptical about the whole thing and i would encourage others to do the same.
