Look, I love Studio Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle. Its one of my favourite of their movies!
But if it got announced that another studio was adapting the story into an animated movie more based on the book, I'd buy my tickets immediately!
#certainly reading the book for the first time and I love it#I hope it makes sense but it gives me Shrek vibes#in the sense that its a deconstruction of fairy tale and fantasy tropes#and that its a love story that ends with the couple loving to love themselves as well as each other#if a studio like Cartoon Saloon made an book accurate adaption I'd warch it immediately#studio ghibli#howl's moving castle book#howl's moving castle
