This Hmong kid (I think she might be a girl, but I’m really not sure) is growing some lovely black-and-white feathers!
#she has absolutely no comb growth while her near-identical brother’s comb is growing#also she has more feather growth than him#also the two I’m pretty sure are boys are way friendlier than the rest so maybe that’s a clue?#the light-grey boy has the biggest comb of all the Hmong and it’s still pretty small compared to the other breed cockerels#but I’m kind of learning that the shape of their comb is just as telling as the size#if I’m judging on that then all 3 unidentified Hmong are pullets???#chicken#chickens#backyard chickens#chickenblr#farmcore#pet chicken#baby chick#Hmong chicken
