there’s a local theater near me putting on something rotten! and I kind of want to go but I also feel like it’s gonna be so weird to see the show again????
#if you didn’t know i saw something rotten 27 times on Broadway#it was a big hyperfixation#so when you’ve seen only one or two casts perform it in a certain production so many times#and on broadway level scale#it feels so weird to see it in another context#if this was any other show I’d be like nice cool!#but this is a show I know like the back of my hand like I’m so specific about it#like what if it’s bad idk!!!#it’s also $30#which I totally understand why they are charging that much it makes sense#but reader I’m poor I don’t spend over $10 these days#and if I decide I’m uncomfortable and want to leave then i wasted my money#it’s like. that musical transports me back to 2015#and it’s a huge emotional toll to go back to that time for me#if I’m gonna rewatch SR and put myself back there it’s gotta be WORTH IT u know#listening to the score opens a whole can of worms it’s overwhelming#I can’t just Casually go see a production of SR because of what it means to me#is anyone reading these novel of a tags lol#does anyone understand my hesitation
