no but I can't stop thinking about this post and it's making me unwell. like in 2.05 armand says that they hadn't talked about lestat in 20+ years. 20+ years of louis just avoiding thinking about the past, unable to process anything that's happened with lestat. and then he just unleashes everything with daniel, practically every comment about lestat is dripping with anger. and then the interview derails and armand intervenes and chastises louis for talking about lestat (granted, louis doesn't remember that part bc armand memory wiped him). and then presumably they go another ~50 years of louis not talking about lestat (or claudia). 70+ years of pent up feelings unleashed upon learning that lestat was the one who saved him. he'd (understandably) been so convinced that lestat wanted him dead, that the idea of anyone but armand saving him was just an impossibility, but daniel gave him evidence that he's holding right there in his hands. and like the act of discussing the trial after learning about armand's mind wipe causing louis to realize that lestat's perspective of claudia's turning was closer to the truth than his had been, this discovery that lestat saved him makes it click for louis how genuine lestat had been when he deviated from the script.
