I don't think I mentioned this... but in Ashes of Memory, Alice receives a letter from Orpheus addressed as "Eury Lamb"

Lamb is the last name of the man who adopted her and experimented on her. It also serves as a reference to Little Girl's "Source of Evil" cosmetic, which is lamb themed.

"Eury" is a reference to Eurydice. People have theorized "Eury Lamb" is the name her adoptive father, Villhelm Lamb gave to her to keep her true identity a secret. But that's not rlly relevant...

What is relevant is that this makes Orpheus' alias choice even MORE obvious he loves Alice... this mans got romantic interest in her...

People who use that adoption letter as proof that the writers want you to view their relationship as sibling-like are so cringe. That letter is literally the direct opposite of "sibling-like".

Folks missed the part called "context": Orpheus [who was 17 at the time] knew she was being abused at the orphanage and tried to get her out in the least stressful way possible... and he couldn't even adopt her to begin with because the orphanage thought it would be best for her to be taken in by a blood relative. Which was a lie, because they ended up giving her to Villhelm Lamb to be used as his lab rat.

Like idk man... the writers have made it so abundantly clear Orpheus doesn't see her as a sister. That One letter doesn't prove he sees her as a sibling because if they wanted to make them siblings... then.... they would have... ya know, made them siblings... but they don't because.... they're not siblings and they're writing a tragic romance LMAO.

As for Alice, in AoM she calls him a playmate... granted she doesn't know Orpheus and her playmate are the same person, but she remembers him as her friend and not her brother... because.... they were never adopted siblings...

But yeah It's so crazy to think Orpheus doesn't love her... I'm over here losing my mind at That Scene in AoM where Orpheus asks Alice if she could play a song for him on her father's favorite piano.

What gets me is that this scene shows how much Orpheus missed her. He buys everything her relatives sold off so he can rebuild the mansions' interior to how it was when they were children. He also goes out of his way to fix her father's favorite piano. The piano didn't just need fine tuning - it was straight up destroyed during the raid. It was a really, really expensive thing to repair. Even though Alice's father had other pianos, some of which could have survived the raid, he rebuilds the one which holds alot of sentimental value to her... LIKE???

REALLY... You guys really want me to think Orpheus did all this JUST out of a sense of guilt for unintentionally causing the raid? You are rlly gonna look me in the eyes and tell me Orpheus using "Orpheus" as his alias while addressing Alice as "Eury" is totally platonic?

Are u rlly gonna say that to me knowing this official artwork made Norton and Melly wear their Pluto and Proserpina/Persephone outfits while Frederick, Orpheus, and Alice are dressed normally? My brother in Christ... will you rlly look me in the eyes and tell me Orpheus [AND THE BIRDS] holding flowers is platonic symbolism...

How much more evidence do people need that these two aren't siblings AND they're on a whole romantic journey together...

Miss Nightangle was told to arrange a ball/party by the owner of the mansion. It was a bit surprising since no one ever heard from whoever he is, but, nonetheless, the party was scheduled, prepared, and started all within a few days. Secretly, you thought something was fishy with how fast she prepared the party.

Yet, everyone dressed up and arrived to the designated venue. I mean, you all knew better than to go against the owner's words. But... it was really awkward. None of the hunters or the survivors wished to mingle with the other group, and the tension was so thick that one could hardly breathe.

You had done your best cleaning up the survivor's youngest member or your sister: Memory. She looked beautiful in her pale green dress, and her hair was pulled up into a basket with strands of curled hair framing her face.

You, on the other hand, had decided to wear your recently received costume. You wore a sleeveless chiton which reached your feet. It seemed like it was a two piece because the top which flowed freely was an off white color, but the dress, a light blue, was fastened by a cord around the waist. Your hair was pulled into a braid that hung down your back, while atop your head a circlet nestled.

You and Demi had a pair costume, and the two of you decided to match for the party.

Demi wore a gentle-pink one-piece chiton. Her sleeves were slit open and cuffed around her wrist in gold bands. The skirt was cut asymmetrically slightly above the knee line. Her curled hair bounced around her face as she jovially chattered with the other survivors.

You grabbed a glass of champagne and sipped the alcohol. Your eyes drifted over to the hunters who stood far away from your group. Your eyes fell on a peculiar hunter who had isolated himself completely. You had never seen him before in a match, so you walked over to Martha, tugging the sleeve of her dress.

"Who's that?" You whispered nodding at the hunter. Martha squinted, before frowning.

"I don't know," she answered before slowly smirking. "Why don't you find out?"

"What? I c-can't walk up to him!" You balked cheeks on fire.

"Why not?"

"He's a guy! I don't know how to talk to men!" You waved your free hand. Martha rolled her eyes.

"Demi!" At the call of her name, the barmaid stumbled over alcohol on her breath. "We need to get [Name] to talk to our new hunter."

Demi nodded and grabbed your hand, dragging her to the hunters. Martha trailed behind just in case the girl in the pink chiton collapsed. You tried to wrench your hand out of your friend's grip, but she was really strong. You shot a glance at Memory.

"We're family, right Memory?" You nervously laughed. Memory smiled and waved at you. Traitor.

All eyes were on you as you were pushed forward to the flame-haired hunter who sat behind the table fingers steeple together. As soon as he saw you approaching, his eyes widened, and he clutched his hand to his chest. It was then you realized that your and Demi's outfits matched his. He wore a loose dark grey tunic under a black toga.

Suddenly, you tripped on your chiton and grabbed the table, trying to stable yourself.

"Nice, first impression of a surv." It was so quiet you almost didn't hear it. You looked up and locked eyes with his golden ones.

"We match!" Yes. Great first words to a guy you found attractive and interesting. "Oh! Sorry, I'm [Name]." You stuck out your hand to shake. Behind you, you heard Philip snickered.

"Why does everyone think I want to shake hands with normies like them?" The deathly pale hunter sighed, rolling his eyes.

You, however, weren't giving up. When music began to play, you with whatever remaining confidence grabbed his hand and dragged him out to dance. He was clearly as shocked as you, and even his hair turned pink. It was awkward seemingly as neither of you could dance, but it was the bridge for the others.

Out of the corner your eye, you saw Demi grab the closest dude next to her, who happened to be Joseph, and stumble out onto the floor. Joseph's nose twitched in a bit of disgust as the girl messed up and bumped into him. He looked pleadingly at his friends who just waved and laughed.

You turned your attention back to the hunter in front of you.

"Say, you haven't told me your name," you demanded, and the blue-haired guy jumped back.

"Idia."

You thought for a moment before giving him a wide grin, "I love it."

You froze when he fainted.

what'z ur favorite idv character ztory wize!!!

that is incredibly difficult!! as u know im an avid lore reader and thus have been compelled by nearly everyone,, i can only say with confidence that there's two characters i DISLIKE, them being philip and kreature. but everyone else i like a lot!!!

however i think ive gotten the most attached to violetta and her story! she was born into a terrible family they treated her like horrible rotten trash for her disability, and yet she remained optimistic and sweet. she was sent off to a circus in which she was a laughingstock, again, for her disability. and yet she remained optimistic and sweet. even when she arrived at the hullabaloo and was promptly mistreated, she had the resolve to make the best of her situation. violetta remained optimistic and sweet.

even as a hunter, she chose to be friendly and merciful towards her peers. she must have been recruited to the manor because the hosts believed she would have carried some hate or need to take her poor upbringing out on others, but she didn't. violetta has every right to be angry at the world, and yet she proves to be the sweetest character in idv.

and this is what makes her so compelling, this is why violetta is such an interesting character. especially when very few other characters can be modelled as entirely innocent. their actions may be justified depending on who they are, but in comparison to violetta their lives have had more light and their actions have been far more evil and harmful. this duality really shines in the fact that violetta is directly connected to joker, someone who lead a very similar life being mistreated and cast out as a laughingstock due to his disability. however unlike violetta, joker acted with the expected hate and disdain towards the world that he deserved to have.

overall, violetta is an incredibly strong and patient character who deserves the world and more, especially when surrounded by characters who pale in comparison to her goodness.

Joseph moved to England as a child and pretty much stayed there growing up.

Mary's born Austrian.

Galatea's name is Greek (tbh, it caught a lot of ppl off guard that she's even french tbh, nothing mentioned it right until her deductions came out)

Vera is probs the only exception to this. (Girl looks way too French)

There's also Philip, and while we have yet to determine his origins, I think it's safe to assume that he's French for the meantime, based on his trailer (although the person he's seemingly based upon was Swiss.)

In conclusion, Baguette Mary jokes aren't funny unless it's Stageplay Mary /j

Philip would be more concerned about others hurting you than trying to steal you away

Well, of course, he would be furious if he learned someone had fallen for you and actively tries to take you away

but still, the first thing he would be worried about is that they will for sure hurt you

Jealousy is in the second place for him

He would hundred percent kidnap you to "keep you safe"

The world outside is so dangerous, and he already lost someone so close to him

He can't let that happen again

He sees anyone that threatens his relationship with you as a wolf who could hurt his innocent lamb

I see him doing a mold of their deceased face to show you, in hopes, you would be proud of him for keeping you safe

"See? I took care of them! Now they won't be a problem, darling."

Whenever you would cry, he would try to calm you down with kisses and loving words saying he only wants your safety

If you tried to run away, he would beg you not to do that ever again

"You need to understand how dangerous are people out there! I saw them! I studied them! You should listen to me!"

He actually wouldn't be able to hurt you in a physical way. He can't be on the same level as those wolves he is trying to protect you from

but if you were good and wouldn't try to escape, he would shower you with affection and love

Finally, you understand him and that he has only good intentions!

He knew you would understand!
