i came across your post and replies and idrgaf about these shipwars so im saying nicely: its not a RULE but its common sense not to tag your hate. think like this: if im going to a tag means i like the thing im looking for and i want to find more content about it. the people who look into someone's tag doesn't do that to see hate, its like a safe space. its like if i go to acotar subreddit to hate on the books? idk if you're new but this has been a non spoken rule on tumblr for a while and people usually respect it so when it happens people assume the person is looking for intrigue. so if you're genuine I suggest only tagging hate tags on your hate :)

I think it's a stretch to call what I said "hate" and it was not intended to be taken that way. I understand now that there are "rules" but it's also not that serious. Obviously if I am going to rag on something and be harsh I wouldn't try to shove it in anyone's face and I will tag it as such. But if I am merely commenting on some aspect of the book then I don't see why it's so wrong to tag a post with the topic it's about.
