i haven't posted hcs on here in forever (no inspo for rqs + seasonal depression) and talentswaps seem to be having a revival so. :) from my thh/dra talentswap! (old followers may remember it, it was probably 2019)

~*~ Idol! Tsurugi!

•Much less aware of corruption and stuff in the world, he has a more optimistic take on things

•however, his ruthlessness has still been ingrained into him by his father here- he has a tendency of hearing someone singing to themselves and just going

•"hm! that's out of your range, and you're kinda pitchy. 5/10 (๑･̑◡･̑๑)" because. ahaha maybe singing isn't cut out for u! he can tell based off of the way u sing with a sore throat /s

• someone (probably heir!haru because this was a tsuhiko au) sits him down to try and explain that you can't do that

•"but it is just constructive criticism! i'm helping :)" -tsu, right before getting smacked

•he rlly likes things like milkshakes, coffee that's been hella sweetened with cream, etc,,, which sucks because dairy is one of the big "don't haves" before singing

•oh he also rlly likes spicy food? heirhiko goes "hey babe look at this new fries i'm trying do u want some?" and idolrugi cries because it's like. cheese + jalapeño/habanero pepper and it looks good but he knows it'll fuck him over to have

•!!! mr rugi is vv flexible because his dad was. strict on him becoming the best of the best with everything

•one time heirhiko went in for a kiss, and tsurugi, who wanted to see his reaction, re-enacted that one video of a girl just. sliding into the splits to avoid kissing a guy

•heirhiko is distressed and asks if he did smthn wrong and tsu just laughs and shows him the video then gives him kis!

•if any song he knows choreo to comes on, he'll probably go through the motions a bit - moving his hands/shifting his feet in the direction he'd be moving

•depending on how comfortable he is with the people he knows, he may start lip syncing/actually moving in his seat

•his class has a game called "play songs tsurugi has sang and see what he'll sing along to subconsciously/songs he knows the choreo for and see how much he moves"

•they have to be careful tho because if anyone gives the slightest snicker, he'll realize what's happening and freeze up + may get angy

•has 100 spotify playlists organized on like. how his voice is at the moment

•so if his throat is fucked? things like sweet hibiscus tea (by penelope scott) because even if it's more raspy, it sounds nice, and it's not stressful range wise!

•can you tell that's the song i sing when my throat is fucked- anyways! he uploaded a short video of him singing some of candystore from heathers by himself and his fans lost it

•omg i wanna write ts!tsuhiko so bad now- growing up he was totally a paegent kid, and judges always rolled their eyes when he was another kid who's talent was "song and dance"

•however. after he performed? he was always at least a shoe-in for first, if not guaranteed winner

•someone has a "haha funny joke imma send tsurugi some gross fanfic to react to" but just gets hell from class 79 for it (tsurugi is the one from their class most likely to have to deal with this kinda shit)

•he's always been a fan of old detective/police shows for. some reason (;D) so he uses his slight bits of free time to watch those

•he generally tries to stay more reserved (think tsurugi pre-deadly life 1 personality) but if a recording of him singing comes on? he loses it, and if he's in a situation where he can, he'll ask if everyone would like to hear him sing along-

•in a similar vein, his design i had was based off of my idea for his workout/practice outfit? so during killing game (if this is despairverse) his classmates will ask him to do leedle performances for them

•so he'll do a song + its choreo, usually doing ~5+ per day, that number increasing as people get more comfortable around him/need cheering up
