Miyeon

Immediately gets taken aback because the only other person that she knows that looks that good with glasses is herself (ofc)

She kind of just sits down next to you, staring at you with her mouth slightly open

You were too busy rereading your study notes that it took you a bit to realize that your girlfriend had been admiring you for the past minute

When you finally look up at her and see her awestruck expression, you laugh

And Miyeon is even more shocked when she gets a better view of you with your glasses

She quickly cups your face and kisses you softly

“You look really pretty with glasses, Y/N”

Minnie

She always backhugs you while you’re studying as a way of greeting

And when you turn around to complain, she notices the glasses straight away

“You didn’t tell me you had glasses!!”

You tell her something about how it never came up but she’s not listening

At first, she’s too offended that you didn’t tell her you wore glasses to notice the effect it had on her

Then she notices that she’s slightly turned on but tries not to show it because she doesn’t want to disturb you while you’re studying

After the initial shock, Minnie will tell you that you should wear them more often

Soojin

One word: shy

Soojin cooked you some soup and came back to you wearing glasses so you could properly copy down your study notes

She originally was going to say something to you about taking a break but nothing’s coming out of her mouth

Because she’s too busy thinking oh my god my s/o is so attractive

Instead, she hastily hands you a bowl of soup and doesn't say anything

You mutter a “thank you” and you notice that, although Soojin is naturally quiet, she’s being unusually quiet

So you ask her if she’s okay

She’s flustered and doesn’t know what to say

Eventually she’ll say something so softly that you barely catch it

“They look nice on you”

Soyeon

Suddenly the composed charisma leader Jeon Soyeon isn’t so composed anymore

Soyeon’s usually good at not disrupting you while you’re studying because she knows how annoying it can be when she’s disturbed while she’s trying to produce or compose

But as she’s gazing at your concentrated expression, she notices your tongue slightly sticking out and how your glasses perfectly frame your face

Fuck it, she thinks, and sits herself on top of you, straddling you

Soyeon pulls you in for a kiss, running her hand through your hair

She eventually pulls away and you look at her, slightly confused

“It’s the glasses” she admits with a slightly abashed grin

Yuqi

Teases you nonstop the moment she sees the glasses perched on your nose

But also thinks you look kind of hot

Except she doesn’t want to admit it and instead says something like: “You’re such a nerd!!”

Until maybe you kiss her to shut her up

And then she kisses back a lot more passionately than usual

“Okay, okay, I guess they look pretty good on you” she’ll say reluctantly

But you can tell Yuqi secretly likes the glasses

Because barely a minute after you return studying, she pulls you back in for a kiss

And you never end up finishing studying because she pushes you onto the bed before you can say anything else

Shuhua

Probably dramatically gasps when she sees your glasses

“I didn’t know you had glasses!!”

She will ask to try them on just to annoy you

If you refuse, she’ll be pouty until you finally give in

She’ll put the glasses on with pride

“How do I look?”

Then immediately starts singing Nxde

“BABY HOW DO I LOOK-”

Shuhua is also a lot more giggly than usual because she thinks you look so cute

Will also tease you a little (out of love)

But later on will mutter something about the glasses (and you, mostly you) being pretty in Taiwanese

Talvez a maioria de vocês me conheça pelo meu blog do BTS, e se for mesmo o caso oi de novo amorzinho rs, mas para quem não me conhece ainda eu sou a Maka!

Given the Leverage crew are pretty much always on comms during jobs, there are loads of moments we see only one or two people in, but everyone else must hear.

Like in The Experimental Job, Eliot’s “I can’t forget” speech is heard by everyone, and I want to know what they think about that. In the same job, do they all hear Parker and Hardison’s argument (or have they taken their comms out for the evening)?

In The Rundown Job, Eliot must have heard Harsison’s “I can’t lose you” speech to Parker, and he probably smiled to himself as he handcuffed unconscious bad guy to a chair because *them*.

Does everyone get to hear “Two good ol’ boys” being sung???

Also, though, the comms must have been out of range or out entirely for much of The Big Bang Job for no one else to hear the pool scene and gunfight.

Importantly on this stream of musing, does everyone hear Eliot telling Sophie that he will never be redeemed, and what does Parker think about this? And also that he sounded proud of all of them being redeemed and 😭

We know they had comms in for the date night so Eliot must have heard Parker and Hardison’s conversation about him leaving and been ☹️

And Parker’s in a tree watching in the walk in the woods job - did she think what we all thought, that Eliot was about to kiss Paul? 😂

Soyeon

love: Her situation is complicated. I think that she is in a relationship but she might have cheated on their partner during some type of party. i don't think she i sprout of what she has done, but for now she's keeping it quiet and wondering what she should do next 

career: i think she wants to do something new for Gidle, she wants to try new concepts and new music but the company isn't allowing her to make something too crazy since they want to keep the group with the same concept. that makes her being a little bit annoyed 

self: Most of her current self is very focused on troubles she is having with her financial life and her family aspects, which i cannot explore for obvious reasons. 

Miyeon

love: She is single at the moment. Her heart has been broken recently and she trusts no one but herself. I believe that the person she was with/she had a crush on, might have used someone close to her to hurt Miyeon. she truly doesn't trust anyone around her at the moment 

career: She has a very good relationship with her sponsor and because of that, i believe that on her next comeback, she will be the star of the show. Miyeon has also been working on her image and on her talents in order to show something new to the public. 

self: she feels very pressured. The public’s opinion matters  alot for her and often she tries to push too much. She compares herself with other idols of her age and generation and she has been trying to fight for a higher spot. 

Minnie

love: Her situationship is still the same. She is single and she isn't looking for any relationship. Although I believe that she has a crush on someone, she doest trust people enough to actually allow herself to be in a relationship. 

career: thankfully she has wonderful people around her, that protect her and promote her according to her wishes. i believe that she is also working on her appearance and on herself for the next comeback  

self: there’s  a lot of depression and anxiety that needs to be worked on, a lot of trauma that needs to be proceeded. she is taking her time but that's something that needs to be treated at some point 

Yuqi

love: Yuqi is currently dating someone. I didn't have any information about the person she was seeing. all i know is that this relationship is rather recent and that they are quite in love with each other 

career: I see a lot of good things coming for her and for her career. the only bad thing is that Yuqi is a little paranoid about certain things and that can impact her image or the way she relation herself with other people 

self: she has been feeling a little bit lonely, a little bit misunderstood by people around her. i think she misses her close friends, her family and just people who she can be her true self with. 

Shuhua

love: I think that she isn't in a relationship anymore, and the person she was with in september left her after they had a kind of argument about financial security or money altogether. 

career: she feels bored when it comes to her career and her group. Shuhua probably wants to do more but she doesn't have the energy or the passion to prove herself anymore. she also believes that he idol life is quite monotone 

self: she has been focusing on herself and her health. She is trying to get better physically and also grounding herself. she know she has some issues with her frustration, but she is trying to deal with those

In case anyone doesn’t know them, PD always has incredibly sensible and on point assessments regarding IDLE’s comeback and the message they are trying to convey. They’re consistently praising the girls in every reaction video, are quick to catch references and add the perspective of Korean culture that sometimes we international fans might miss.

I’ve been checking their reactions since Tomboy and it was truly a soothing and healing experience when I was (still am) trying to come to terms with the new group formation. And without fault I always finish their videos thinking woah this comeback that I already love is even better now.

ok so what i remember from the firing

- the ceo came to the floor and told me they (him and the coo, who's also his wife) need to speak to me in 10min

- they ask me some boring questions as an introduction and then ask about this work ability thing and ask me to explain it

- i explain that i am legally entitled to 7 extra vacation days

- they ask me to confirm that i do in fact have partial work ability and i wasn't just asking out of curiosity (i thought i was clear enough on wednesday apparently he didn't quite get it)

- at some point they start to talk abt the concerns they have related to my performance:

-- first thing the coo (my direct boss) points out is that my communication is not clear. i ask for examples, she says she has to ask me to repeat what i just said sometimes because I'm not speaking loudly enough and sometimes bc i am not clear abt stuff like? if i say these numbers don't seem to match i don't specify anything further (like i am supposed to pose it as a question eg these numbers don't match and i see an issue in it, what should i do?)

-- something she pointed out was that i had said that i hadn't received training for a process but she checked with the person who trained me and apparently i did. i admitted it was my mistake i must have forgot (we were shown most things only once in the 2 days). she said she saw an issue in it because i should have said i don't remember if i got training (true i should have said im not sure but how am i supposed to remember something.. that i forgot?) anyways i get that point I actually feel bad about that

- idk what was next at some point i started crying

- they assured me they think im a responsible and capable person who is self aware of their weaknesses and they're sad that im not a good fit for this position because it's very demanding and it might further damage my mental health (earlier i did day thta it wasn't a physical issue but i didn't specify any further so idk what assumptions they made)

- also the coo said that they wish they could support me in my career and that i might do well in a position that has more supervision

- blah blah bhal they ask me if i wanna continue the 15 days from today when they've notified me(if they send this confirmation today i'll be assured they did not care enough abt me before to send me the contract on time.......... busy my ass)

- me and the woman chatted for a while after hes husband left she said she really liked me yada yada invited me to have lunch with her whenever said i took the feedback really well and didn't get defensive (i was still crying. actually angry crying half the time but whatever)

The 1920s in Chicago were full of jazz, smoke and blood. Nowadays, the final story of these girls would end very differently, probably they would be crucified not only by the court, but also by public opinion, but in the 20s, things were different...

One would imagine that even though they confessed to their crimes, they were women in prison, but they were smart women and they understood that if they knew how to put on a show, they would be fine after all. In the end, all (or almost all) sovereign very well how to take advantage of the sexism of the time.

With the right lawyer, puritanical clothes but cleavage and size enough to show off her assets, all the jury saw was spectacle. After all, these women wouldn't be able to kill someone for real, would they?

And even though most of them were foreigners, and American society at the time really wasn't the most hospitable, only one of the girls ended up on the gallows. The lack of understanding in communication, at all stages, Shuhua was found guilty.

But what cruelty! What an unfair world! The innocent, killed, cruelly, while real milindrosas left with men and more men at their feet!

As for Soyeon, she had the best of outcomes... When another woman was arrested, they created an enmity, which soon became a partnership and friendship. Hungry for fame and more fame, they created an entire show around their stories and spent the rest of their lives, in the spotlight, and every kind of luxury that money could buy.

The others didn't have much to gain by staying where they were, so some traveled, moved, and even remarried. They went on with their lives, as well-known people (I could even use the word celebrity, but I don't think it's the most appropriate term for the situation).

Therefore, I ask you: is justice really blind? Would these women be wrong, for using their sensuality and deceiving men, in the name of their freedom? How long will women be seen as defenseless? And finally, would it be passion, the deadliest feeling of humanity?
