(G)I-DLE Reaction to Being Jealous Over Their S/O

Miyeon:

Although Miyeon tries her hardest not to, she sometimes just can't help it when the jealousy gets to her. She loves you and is so afraid to lose you that sometimes she just can't help but let her emotions get in the way. One day when you came to watch Miyeon performing their comeback song, another idol approached you backstage, clearly having more than friendly intentions. When Miyeon bounded off the stage and saw you weren't waiting for he alone, she was pretty pissed, especially now that this idol had their hand on your arm. She simply walked over, grabbed your waist and pulled you into the deepest kiss she could muster. Much to her delight, the other idol had seemingly vanished as soon as she pulled away from the kiss ;)

Minnie:

For Minnie, she never really felt the need for jealousy in your relationship. She was very secure with you, and she knew you loved her just as much as she loved you. However, if someone was to flirt with you, pester you and just bother you in general, Minnie would definitely step up to prove that you were taken. When a man approached you in a restaurant after Minnie had gone to the bathroom, you started feeling uneasy pretty quickly. He was very blatant with what he wanted, and you did not like the look of him at all. Thank god, however, Minnie rushed back to the table as soon as she saw the uncomfortable look upon your place. She got pissed pretty quickly, putting the man right in his place and telling him to get away from you before she had to make him. (come through badass Minnie yasss)

Soojin:

Soojin never considered herself one to get jealous easily, but she found that jealousy soon became a trait when she met you. She'd never had feelings as strong as this, and she truly meant no harm, she just hated seeing someone else try to take what was so dear to her. Although PDA wasn't her thing, she would never hesitate for a second if she saw someone trying to flirt with you. after going to a company party with Soojin and having one of her co-workers flirt with you, she suddenly stalked over, throwing her arms around your shoulder and pulling you in for the most mind-blowing kiss. The person soon got the hint that you weren't up for grabs, and there was no way Soojin was letting anyone get in between you two.

Soyeon:

This girl would get jealous so easily. To Soyeon, you are her everything and if someone ever dares step over the line of being friendly, she would be so SO quick to correct them. She really can't help it, it's just her love for you and her emotions cloud her thinking and all she needs to do is prove to everyone that you are hers. After seeing an old school friend get a little too comfy with you after you ran into them while shopping with Soyeon, her jealousy soon appeared. She would slowly insert herself into the conversation, snuggling right up to you. Your friend quickly got the hint, your conversation fizzling out much to Soyeon's delight. That night, Soyeon made sure to leave plenty of 'evidence' on your skin, making sure that even if she wasn't there, others would be sure to know that you were happily taken by the love of your life.

Yuqi:

I don't think Yuqi would ever be one to get seriously jealous, her feelings around jealousy would never be more than playful. However, if you were ever feeling uncomfortable with someone's advances, she wouldn't hesitate for a second to step in and make it known that you were dating her. After a man approached you while you were out with Yuqi, she assumed the conversation was merely friendly until she saw how uneasy you looked. Upon closer inspection, it was clear this man was overstepping his boundaries completely. Yuqi would come in, apologizing as kindly as she could and would remove you from the situation. She would never tolerate anyone making her baby uncomfortable, and she's always there to protect you when you need it :]

Shuhua:

This clingy baby would definitely get jealous a lot. Nothing too serious, she just loves to know that you are hers and she is yours, no matter what. So when she took you out for coffee one day and saw the waitress flirting with you, she wouldn't be too kind to the girl in question. Shuhua would be holding your hand and calling you pet names, even moving to sit beside you if the girl still wasn't getting the hint. She loves to show you off in general, so this extra PDA didn't really phase you. It was actually nice to know that Shuhua is always gonna stick up for your relationship and do whatever she can to keep you by her side.

(G)i-dle Reaction to: Someone Hitting on You (Mafia!AU)

a/n: seeing as the girls are rookies & I'll never know them (plus this is an au) I'm sorry for any ooc portrayal here! hopefully as the girls go on more shows & grow more comfortable to be themselves, I can get a more accurate grasp of their personalities!

Miyeon: She always liked to present herself as level headed. There was a subtle grace that just came naturally. Except for in this moment, with that snarky brute flirting with you. His pick up lines were crude and your body language screamed uninterested, yet there he remained.

"Babe, our ride is here," Miyeon tells you, making her presence known. You turn to her but the man doesn't, eyes transfixed on your form. "Okay, coming!" you chime, about to leave the bar only for the guys arm to stop you.

"Hold on, cutie, you can't just leave without even a kiss. That would be rude, no?"

Despite the fire in her veins, Miyeon's actions were graceful, her hand pulling out a knife so quickly, it seemed to appear like magic. The pressure of it against his side made the man freeze.

"What's rude is you hitting on my (girl/boy)," she says quietly, somehow calm. "Now remove your arm before I do it for you."

He does as she says, looking on in fear as she leads you outside. The chauffeur was waiting patiently. She helps you inside the private space that the car provided before descending upon you, gentle fingers checking for any injuries.

"I'm okay, I'm fine. He barely even touched me," you assure. "Are you okay?"

She smiles, now acting cute. "As long as I have you, I'm always okay."

Minnie: Watching her face melt from a smile to a scowl was frightening yet alluring, in a way that sent a shiver down your spine.You frown at her sudden change, turning around to see a girl leaning against a poker table, looking directly at you. She smiles flirtatiously, in a way that wordlessly beckons you over.

You grab Minnie's hand. "Ignore her, she's probably drunk." It was the only logical explanation for her trying to flirt with you. Everyone knew you were Minnie's and her name was well known for a reason. To flirt with you is a death wish.

The night carries on until you need to excuse yourself to use the bathroom. You had completely forgotten about the flirtatious woman until you're washing your hands and she appears at the sink next to you.

"Lovely evening, isn't it?" she speaks.

You force a smile. "Yeah, it is."

There's a moment of silence.

"I couldn't tempt you into a game of poker, could I? I'm one hell of a player and you look like one too."

There's a cough.

Minnie appears by your side, wrapping her arm around your waist. "Oh, Miss Minnie, I - I didn't recognize you earlier."

"Recognize me next time," she deadpans, "It could be the difference between life or death."

Soojin: Her brow quirked in annoyance. This was an important meeting, she knew that. If this went smoothly, she would gain control of the south side of Seoul, ensuring the entire city was in her grasp. Messing up wasn't an option ... yet control seemed so impossible as the leader of the southern gang undressed you with his eyes.

"As I was saying," she says, clearing her throat. "This deal would be very beneficial for both our groups. What do you say?"

His eyes trailed down your body. "Yeah, I see the benefits."

Like a light switch, Soojin sprung to her feet, over the table and quickly had a gun pressed to the mans head. It was so sudden that it took a few moments for his bodyguards to react, moments that could have cost his life. They tensed, aiming their weapons at Soojin as your stomach fell to your feet.

"Soojin, please," you plead, not liking all the guns aimed at her, "just sit down."

She ignores you, coolly stating, "I'd like to make one adjustment to our agreement. A new rule stating that neither you or your disgusting men can ever even look at my (Y/N). Deal?"

"Deal," his voice wavered, face so pale that he appeared blue.

"Excellent decision." She holsters her gun, stepping back. She calmly helps you to your feet, walking out the door with you. "Great doing business with you!" are her parting words.

Soyeon: Would it be arrogant to call her the greatest leader this mafia had ever known? Maybe. But it wasn't a lie. Soyeon had a natural ability to gauge people, to read a room and although this benefited her greatly, it could be a curse also.

You step out of the dressing room. "What about this one?" The outfit hugged you in all the right places yet left enough to the imagination. Before Soyeon could respond, a staff member answered you. "You look amazing, (Sir/Miss)! That colour compliments your skin tone well though it's perhaps a little too covered up, wouldn't you say? With the weather being so nice lately, long clothes would be impractical."

"That's true," you muse, still looking at your reflection. It was nice but perhaps the worker was right. "I'll go take it off now, thank you for the advice," you tell her, stepping inside the stall only to gasp when Soyeon barges in suddenly.

"What the - ?"

"I'm helping you take it off," she replies bluntly, voice clear and strong. "It's the least I could do for my (girl/boyfriend.)"

You scowl. "Are you jealous? Seriously?"

"Shut up," she pouts, turning you around to undo the zip. "It's not my fault others don't know not to mess with what's mine. Last time someone tried, their business went bankrupt. Hope I don't have to do it again."

There was a gasp from outside the stall, no doubt from the worker. It was a famous tale in the city; a restaurant chain went mysteriously bankrupt after the owner accidentally spilled wine on Soyeon’s (the Soyeon) partner.

"Looks like it won't be necessary," you giggle, endlessly amused by the fear she instilled in others. You knew it was justified, yet so hard to understand when she was so gentle with you.

Yuqi: If that damn bartender offered you one more free drink, she would snap. As far as mafia leaders went, Yuqi was the most unsuspecting. Her melodic voice, baby doll features and natural cuteness made her so unsuspecting. Perfect for staying hidden. Though she would risk all the years of evading capture if it would get that guy away from you.

"Well, if the drinks are free then could I get two?" you reply, pulling her into your arms. "One for me and my girlfriend."

The guy didn't get the hint.

"If only they were both for you," he sighs, "then you would be my ideal type, even more than you already are." He finishes preparing the drinks, sliding them down the bar to you both.

Yuqi picks up the glass, analyzing the drink.

"Do you think he'd notice if I poisoned this and gave it back?"

"Hmm, dying is pretty noticeable," you note, "so it's best we slash his tires instead. The only thing worse than dying is paying for new tires."

She beams, pulling you in for a sweet kiss. "Every day just makes me fall more and more in love with you ~" 🎶

Shuhua: She's famous for silent but deadly tactics. You don't see her coming until it's too late and that's the way she likes it. She applies this to every day life as well, including tonight. Some girl was currently trying to (unsuccessfully) charm you. She had five more minutes to stop before she would find herself regretting ever coming to this party.

Finally, Shuhua comes to your side. "Are you ready to go, babe?" She wastes no time pretending to care for the other girls existence. "Standing here all by yourself must be boring." The look on her face reads disgust and you know just how to change that.

Grabbing her collar, you gently pull her in for a kiss. "How am I alone when I have you, Shuhua?" At the sound of her name, the woman understands the situation. She pales and immediately retreats, to Shuhua's delight.

She flicks her hair confidently. "Good riddance."
