Unpopular opinion - ficblr is really cliquey. If you’re not good friends with a group of well known blogs, it’s a lot harder to get people to interact with you. And I know some people will say ‘just put in the effort and make friends with them then’ but a lot of the time I find it just goes unreciprocated. That’s not necessarily anyone’s fault but it felt really isolating and it’s why some people delete. A lot of them choose to stick to reading solely within their friend group as well which I think is sad cos they’re missing out on a lot of quality content.

i see this one a lot and i have like a 50-50 opinion on it

i feel like socializing wise it can be a little cliquey i suppose. i don't think that a lot of ppl mean to come across that way like for me personally most of my friends on this app ive known since like my first blog so i known them over a year and truth be told im not rly looking to expand my close circle like that now that i have a handful of very close friends—as in our friendship bleeds into our personal lives outside of tumblr too. i think for a lot of ppl i know the same holds true and they have a close couple of friends who they are content with. but yeah it can be a bit daunting / alienating interacting with blogs who have a set circle already. hopefully ppl who interact w me don't feel alienated SOBS i like interacting w everyone on here i like to think im friendly w most who shoot me an ask. im rather bad at answering them lately bc im offline more often 😞 but idk i hope sending me asks to chit chat and whatnot is a positive experience for most

as for the reading—personally for me i read anything as long as it shows up on my dash, moot or not. like if a moot reblogs it and its written by someone idk, i still read and reblog it if i enjoyed, but i don't go into the tags. im sorry i know there are quality fics in there, but fishing for them is HELL. i was in the tags for a solid 45 minutes a week ago and for the entire time i literally just blocked ppl for abusing the tags. they're kind of a shit show as of late. BUT i do think that some blogs don't rly reblog content outside of their friends i agree w that !! and i think reblogs from writers make a big difference obviously since we have a much larger reach since more ppl follow us

Uhhh, hey haz, you prob don’t remember or know me, but I used to have my own spade queen oc with my own ask blog a while back. (I think you actually acknowledged em at some point) (Big dress with the spade mouth if that rings any bells)

I was too shy to interact with ppl all those years ago and I’ve since moved on from posting on tumblr (I don’t think I even have access to my accs), but I felt nostelgia and remembered your blog and came to it to check it out and wanted to say that I always saw you as an inspiration for art and stuff. I love your art and how you make stories with your characters for people to enjoy.

I also totally get how you would’ve felt encountering the queen in chapter 2 btw. As someone with my own headcanons and oc it did give me chills when I saw the official thing. I’d like to say that even though it feels like the character you built up is not as popular now that there’s a confirmed canon, people still love the character you made and your interpretations of em!

I think you could totally make your own thing with your own audience! I hesitate to use the term “AU”, but I as well as others would love to continue following along any stories you make.

(Actually, I sorta assume you already have something like this this in mind which if thats the case cool! or if not thats cool too!)

I do in fact have plans for an AU, since I can’t bring myself to ignore canon for the sake of something else I’ve already done that contradicts it, so hopefully it’s appealing to the fans of Chapter 2 as well as my veteran followers from Chapter 1 (whoever’s still here, anyways).

yes, I do. commenting can be intimidating when you don't know the writer, so in that case it feels disrespectful not to even acknowledge the effort. same with extensive comments. and oftentimes the commenter brings up questions or points out interesting moments that you can then have mo re of a conversation about.

honestly comments aren't about the compliments (though those are always nice to hear), they're about the connection. I wrote this, you read it. we both want to feel seen. consider my response an acknowledgement of our connection.

principles, which is just a one-shot so the whole thing is angsty, but it definitely ends even less happily than nomt...

I've never really written for an audience before but I'm not really worried about that and I know what type of content i want to make but I always see groups of writers in fan communities who are all mutuals and friends and it looks like fun but I'm not even sure how to go meet others without it being weird or annoying them in their ask box or just how to integrate into the communities in general.

ok that makes sense, at least you know what you wanna do that's a start! if you have a fandom or fandoms you're definitely gonna be writing in there's probably discord groups because of fests/etc for that fandom/ship that you might be able to join and use to get know ppl and make friends.

i get that it's tough to meet ppl around here, or everywhere really, but imo i dont think you're weird or annoying if u send messages to ppl you're interested in getting to know. for the most part ppl will be kind in return and be excited to meet someone new that has the same interest they have. (keep in mind some ppl might not really reply, but u get the bad with the good and keep going)

i've also made friends just....by reading fics and commenting on them, and then the writer replying and then a back and forth convo AND FRIENDSHIP. same with someone replying on my fics, bla bla bla, FRIENDSHIP.

basically there isn't exactly a right way to go about it, just join the community through tumblr, send ppl you're interested messages, reblog stuff and comment in the tags, comment on fics, get to know ppl and let ppl get to know you. write your fics and share them, the friends will come.

if you wanna come out of hiding i can introduce you to some ppl if we have fandoms in common. or you can tell me your fandoms and i can tell you which ppl you can follow/talk to...idk lol i just realized i've been rambling for too long SORRY.

firstly, how did rui end up meetin the rest of the gang? did they all have sum sort of run in? did they just happen to meet on exident?

Aight, so here we go, be ready cuz shit's long.

(1st part - The Rui n the gang meeting; The Shou meeting) No Tw

Honestly, I also kinda wanted to do this for quite a long time, so I'm gonna firstly talk about how the gang (w/o really mentioning the others name's since they're gonna get introduced soon) met itself and decided to form, and then I'll individually do It in Lyva's and Shou's case, specifically Shou's since i mentioned that his meetin was somethin id have to take care of in another post, so i will rn.

First things first, w the whole gang. Now It wasn't really casually, mainly because Lyva n Rui did meet up, but It was during a special occasion still, that being a really important manifestation in one of the main regions in my oc universe. (They don't have name's yet so pls don't bash me🤡) Them being primarly the Forest, where Rui eventually lives in after all of his past shit, the near-countryside part, where Lyva was living, a pretty much city living on water, where Shou's currently living, and many more, as such the dunes with which I'll introduce Qiran (hopefully tomorrow/today),The sea itself, some High up places and as I said many, many other more. Other than this brief intro, they meet up where Lyva used to live, but mainly because of problems and out of conviniance.

Everyone had something to take back from, so they agreed to help eachother to reach that end, so it's all really planned. Now i won't really go w Lyva, cuz i explained how she met Rui the first time n how they helped her, so I don't need to ramble more on this. Now I'm gonna go w Shou's part though.

This Is more of a note i wanted y'all to know first, cuz i really like how Lyva n Rui met him the first time (cuz the second time was when the gang then all agreed to form n all that jazz.). Basically, Rui n Lyva were out, n visiting new places as such, to prepare themselves further and to try and search for more weapons, cuz they both knew that they'd eventually get in trouble, and even though they still are good, they wouldn't stand much a chance, n since Shou's Place is known for its production they decided to go. N fun fact, there's many funny shit that happends, for example Rui tries to touch a fish, but gets SLAPPED by It. They're still mad >:[. Ajkskdj anyways, some other stuff happends n they just, lose themselves. They had a map ofc but still managed to do so. But Rui was usin It so, I don't really blame em for gettin lost.

Shit happends n they find themselves pratically in front of his shrine/palace. Shou's servitors (cuz he saw everything happend from afar n gave them the okay) brought em in, but rather than makin em idk some tea n just making them recouver, Shou rather put them under some "tests" w/o tellin em, to see if they were any use.

For example he brought them some cups of tea, but before drinking them Rui noticed somethin unusual in the water, so they gave Lyva a sign to not drink It, n as Shou asked as a reason why they just replied that they weren't thirsthy, leavin Shou in a kind of defeated state. Bitch if i love this part honestly, there's so much fun to seein all of their reactions, but I'm gonna go brief rn. So other of this tests pass later n Shou eventually gets upset cuz they're all winnin n seemingly makin fun of him, lettin him in a weaket standpoint, n a fight happends. Even though it's a 2v1 situation he can still manage pretty well, so It ends in a draw. They get to talk after this and get to understand that they don't have to necesseraly be on the opposite side, though Shou Is still unsure whether to belive in that or not.

After they leave him, pratically almost alone w only a bunch of servitors helpin him. He admits defeat n won't show up until the event and yadayada. (Also it's during this weak time of his he'll meet Qiran which i already have plans w so it's all goin to be said bout their relationship in their post.)

(2nd part, the father mention.) Tw:father mention

So it's true that w Shou i did mention his father, but I'm not entirely sure bout his involvment honestly. In theory he kind of is a villain itself, even because of his devilish nature, so it's true, but im not sure whether to make him an independent villain or part of a group of them. But rather than that yes, i do want to make him some sort of villain in the end, because that's also part of Shou's agreement to be part of the group. I will make concept art for him so he'll definetly be involved. Not gonna lie, mabye that bastards also involved w Rui's cult too in a way or another but im givin in too many details holy shit I'll never get outta this fuck

(3rd part- where do they live) No Tw

They live in their own homes honestly, but It would be no surprise if they'd all decide to sleep over someone in specifical, though they have their own place. I made some concepts for Rui's intern home, which here It Is 😤 (forgive me for the bad quality but it's 2 am rn 🤡) I made this a while ago but only did Rui's, so I'll do Lyva's, Shou's n the other one's too. They live in different places, for the exception of, atm, Qiran, since I'm gonna say that they're more of a traveller n don't have a stable home.

(4th part- the mental/physical ilnesses) Tw: Self harm and Mental ilness mention

Well, this Is gonna be a ride. They all suffer from Ptsd, which Rui n Shou suffering from It the most. It still affects them all, though in different occasions, so Imma just do them in specifical. (Also because i gotta add some shit to shou that i didn't wanna add because i thought It was too much honestly)

Rui-

It affects them really much. They use crystals n gems to avoid anything going w their past or anything remotely related It, as whenever they feel awful about havin those flashbacks when they still were a child. They never want to talk about what happened, n during their moments It gets really, really bad. Both emotionally and physically, as their body sometimes cannot handle anything so it completely shuts down. They never really got any help for It as Rui's too scared to share bout their experience, both because of trauma itself that doesn't make them say anything even if they wanted to and because of the cults influence, so either way they've got to handle It by their own.

Lyva-

Other than havin to deal w mornin sickness, which Is the least for her, she has to deal w her neglectful childood and how desperate she's always been for litteraly anythin, whether it's related about love,friendship, food, toys, anything. She tried to seek for help and semi found It, but as of now she can't keep up w It and has better things to take care of. It's still really bad overall, but she's hoping for things to get better. Spoiler It really won't.

Shou-

It's... really fucking bad. I'm gonna get outta this w saying something i didn't want to add because it's really triggerin, but im gonna do It now. So basically, I've mentioned them acting feminenly for his own mother, but i didn't say what would've happened if he displeased her. She would just stare down at him and whispering some awful shit or names. This would happen especially whenever he'd slip off that mask of his or revealed even a tiny bit of his devilish essence. Note that he's still a child here. So, best thing he could to was to "punish" himself, which basically consists of him scratching his arms too much and, i don't really want to continue this, forgive me but it's kind of triggering even for me. But...you can guess what he's doing, since he even to this day still keeps sharp nails. I'm sorry for putting this, but it's another way to show how his mother fucked him up and now suffering from this.

I KNOW THIS SOUNDS LIKE COMMON SENSE BUT LIKE ive been considering making a genshin ask blog for a while now but i never really got to it cos i couldnt really decide on a character (plus the fact that their outfits are. so intricate. is also a hmm since i try to follow details to a t) (at first i wanted to do zhongli, but i feel like to be able to muse him well u need to know the lore super super well, which i dont n im too lazy to research on that aha. n u know how much i respect characterizations, especially for such a complex character like him. i also considered xiangling for a period of time mostly for guoba but also like i have 2+1 blogs here n having one more might not be a very good idea aha) (as for aesop he was my Hyperfixation Character tm also cos i looked at his kit n went Yep i could work with this. probably)

so assuming ur not a dumbass like me n u kinda know who u wanna pick, id actually say to snoop around here for other ask blogs n kinda get a feel of the... scene? is that the word? or like u know, other blogs that u can potentially vibe with. ive run a couple of ask blogs before this current one (both that have died for different reasons) n from my experience interacting with other blogs (if theyre okay with it, i think most should be) is pretty fun. it also kinda helps get ur blog around to other ppl on other blogs so they can go Oh whats this cool shit n check u out, n its also a reason why we kinda reblog promo posts for other blogs (also cos we’re always excited when someone new comes on, its really the more the merrier. we see all :eyes:). interacting with other blogs is also an option when ur inbox is looking real roomy too

another reason why i havent exactly done a genshin blog is that idk i cant actually seem to find genshin ask blogs around (i have seen rp blogs, or those that answer asks with mostly text instead of art, but thats. not my thing since i hate my own writing aha) (i did find one aether blog some time ago, but for some reason i hardly see them around anymore??? idk man i might be wrong). its not like im trying super hard to find them ask blogs, so im sure they exist out there (hopefully?? im not sure but im being optimistic). i mean theres nothing wrong with just starting an ask blog without others around, but for me i do find a difference when i interact with other ask blogs n when i dont, n i prefer when theres others to have fun with (unfortunately i couldnt find any ask blogs to interact with in my previous fandom. i tried, but the blogs i approached seemed to go inactive shortly afterwards...) plus u get to meet friends that way too :D (i made a lot of friends via idv askblogs n its really been a joy vibing with others)

as for the idv scene. gestures around me. unfortunately there are a lot of ask blogs that arent that active anymore, but theres still some of us who are alive n kicking empty inboxes, n im sure everyone would love to see a new face around. winks at u. also there seems to be a lot more blogs popping up lately, which is really heartening to see.

then u kinda just. make ur blog? n a starting introduction post so ppl can reblog it n spread the word XD n yay u have a blog i guess??? XD

i gotta say tho. dont expect ur blog to take off immediately (especially for smaller fandoms like idv, tvbh i didnt think my blog would even get half this far when i started cos of how non existent idv tumblr seemed to be) n ur inbox will probably be looking pretty empty a lot of the time (or at least filled with some that u havent quite thought of how to reply to yet aha) (but also like empty inboxes happen pretty often, im sure most of us here have experienced this problem)

in the case of the first ask blog i ever started, it never really took off at all. ngl it was kind of demoralizing n depressing but to be fair i had picked one of the more obscure characters in the series, so obscure that many ppl in the fandom would have never heard of this character before. if u wanted to know, i took a character that only appeared in the 2nd musical of the series, who also made a very brief cameo in the manga to acknowledge his existence within that universe. thats how obscure my character was, but i went with him purely because he was my favourite character. i will say though i did enjoy it while it lasted n i learnt a lot from the experience, n i think thats whats important really.

i guess this kinda leads on (not really but let me digress) to the whole uhhhh thing where if u choose a more popular character, u get more attention. which is fine i guess? if u really vibe with the character, i mean theyre popular for a reason. n choosing a more popular fandom (like genshin) would objectively also get u more viewers n numbers. but like honestly i believe that ask blogs are meant for u to have fun with, n like trying to get popular gets tiring pretty fast (this shouldnt be like a main goal, but u know sometimes u subconsciously also want that gucci follower count n bomb ass notes or something. i used to be guilty of this until i realized it isnt worth it) especially if ur not enjoying yourself in the process. (case in point: my previous fandom was considerably larger n my blog got about 700 followers within a year or so, but it got very tiring n stressful to maintain after my interest in it died, n no one was really interacting with the blog even though i tried which kinda made it even more depressing despite the so called success n popularity of the blog)

anyway on a less serious note, theres a lot of fun stuff u can do with the ask blog, like some ask blogs have really fancy tags that i really like n try to do but also like not really HAHAHAHA. i kinda just channel what i want to see in an ask blog into my own ask blogs (good art is one, i try very hard for it to be good :,DD another is characterization, n others is just extra miscellaneous arts n stuffs like au ideas or memes. these are also somethings u could work on during ask box downtimes perhaps)

uhhh another side thing is like a posting schedule i guess? like ppl would be more likely to interact (i think) if ur blog is relatively active, n this is usually determined by the last post u made (i think XD). but like generally for blog maintenence id say try to kinda find a frequency that ur comfortable with?? cos i know my once a day posting is kinda insane if i wasnt so hyperfixated on all of this n fight the urge to dump all ur replies when u finish them XD (though ive seen some blogs do that n they do it pretty frequently so its pretty nice to know once u see their post u can spend some time going through the latest batch of posts XD) the queue function is pretty useful here even though i truthfully have never really used it, i kinda just post from my drafts really but it also helps to space out ur content to seem somewhat active especially when u dont have the time to be working on replies sometimes. i hope u know what im trying to say here aha

ANYWAY that was like my 1.5 cents cos i dont even think its worth 2 cents HAHAHAHAH these are just my thoughts from running all my blogs up till now, some that are still running n the others that have just died a natural death. i wouldnt actually delete them (theyre still around actually XD) cos theyre kinda like archives n i can look back at what i did last time. cos ngl i made some high quality stuff back then, n i dont even know how i managed to do that aldhflhdsgk. also ppl do look at archive blogs every now n then for the content thats there yknow

they’d prob identify as androgynous or use they/them pronouns irl. i think working in film has taught them a lot about sexuality especially during this time period which rebelled against the previous victorian era. art is liberating for some so i think not adhering to a specific gender for them was freeing in and out of work.

we know they wear glasses but i had to look up the styles of those in the 20s. they’d wear the popular circle styles we see now but they’d prob be a brown tortoise frame, not black though bc that’s too dark for them and def not metal frames bc those are too flashy.

Speaking for myself I already hate most fictional children and the style of humour these specific ones bring out in the current story lol so I can tell you for sure that I wouldn’t have liked them in the Golden Age either. And tbf you are right that they’re pretty emblematic of other things I personally dislike about current Berserk, such as the lighter tone and aspects of Guts’ character development, so that’s also a factor for me.

But I do think it’s pretty reasonable to dislike the kid characters. The greatest sin a fictional character can commit imo is making the story less fun to read, and the kids certainly do that for me and many others.

i feel like i deadass only read 5 books this entire year and i can’t even rank them bc 3 of those were the hunger games series since i somehow started revisiting my childhood obsessions during quarantine and ordered all the books then 😭☝🏽 speaking of childhood obsessions, another book i read was midnight sun ofc 🤪 and lastly, never let me go - which i’m very proud of personally bc it’s been sitting in my book shelve for 4 years and i never managed to read past the first 100 pages, god bless

How did you spend your birthday this year?

had dinner with the family, then we drove downtown to look at the christmas lights, came back and had cake + watched a movie 😌

What was your most memorable day this year?

gotta be the blm protest in hamburg! i loved that so many ppl (i think it ended up being around 15-20k ppl) came together, even tho it was basically canceled by the police, and it really left me proud and empowered ✊🏽

What was your most memorable meal you had this year?

i made gigi hadid’s pasta recipe for my sister and it’s mostly just memorable bc i never actually cooked for someone that isn’t me 

Did you find any new hobbies or interests in quarantine?

besides baking banana bread, having quiz nights on zoom, and taking walks literally every day - not really ✌🏽

What was the last big event/thing you remember doing BC (before covid)?

going to the jonas brother concert in london with @hunrising - a show that was supposed to be the first one of many this year but sometimes life throws u a pandemic and u just have to deal with it! also driving to sweden for a few days and coming back the very day before denmark closed its borders and everything started to go downhill 🤪

5 good/positive things that happened to you in 2020:

i think the most positive aspect of 2020 was that despite everything it was very didactic: i learned and grew sm and i tried to apply it as best as i could 

i made my first blood donation this year which felt great!!! 

i tried to make the most out of october and went to two (2) pumpkin patches which was lovely 

i got less anxious checking my emails which i believe is a HUGE win bc online classes would’ve been a lot harder if i just ignored my inbox for months

i’ve been very grateful to be safe and healthy this year and that my loved ones were close by. i know how good i have it and it’s def been a year that reminded me of that in so many ways 🙏🏽

Biggest messages or lessons learnt from this year?

use ur privilege and make ur voice be heard to stand up for what is right 

don’t take anything for granted and appreciate everything u have while giving back 

being depressed on campus > being depressed in the zoom meetings 

And what are you most looking forward to in 2021?

apart from starting and hopefully finishing my bachelor’s thesis (and consequently finishing uni for now) i don’t have that much on my agenda for 2021 since i’m still trying to recover from the canceled 2020 plans, so to quote a true legend: “You know what kind of plan never fails? No plan. No plan at all. You know why? Because life cannot be planned. [...] You can't go wrong with no plans. We don't need to make a plan for anything. It doesn't matter what will happen next.”

1. Do you prefer writing with a black pen or blue pen? black, but what matters most is how smoothly it writes.

2. Would you prefer to live in the country or city? walkable neighborhood in a city. 3. If you could learn a new skill what would it be? would love to learn how to hack into billionaire bank accounts without getting caught so i could redistribute their wealth to a variety of mutual aid funds. :)  4. Do you drink your tea/coffee with sugar? no, just milk! unless it’s really shitty/bitter coffee, and then i will take it with a couple sugars or sweetened creamer. 

5. What was your favourite book as a child? probably the Anne of Green Gables books  6. Do you prefer baths or showers? showers! i wanna love a bath, but i get bored too fast and i never feel comfortable (where do i put my head? my feet? what do i do when my belly isn’t covered by the water and it gets cold?) so they’re meh. 

7. If you could be a mythical creature, which one would it be? dryad! i wanna be a tree spirit!

8. Paper or electronic books? paper, i guess. but i do love reading fic electronically, so..

9. What is your favourite item of clothing? used to be my work hoodie. but now i would say this blue striped button down i have OR this one black dress i have with 3/4 sleeves that’s really soft and comfy. 

10. Do you like your name or would you like to change it? i always meant to start going by Dottie when I got older, but it hasn’t happened yet so it probably won’t by now? but i would never change my name generally speaking.

Who is a mentor to you? i had a co-worker who was really a mentor for me since i got into being a cheesemonger in 2008. he’s been in the industry for a long time and basically recruited me to the job i have/had here. but when i got sick he basically dropped me/hasn’t spoken to me in a long time. let me tell you: it fucking sucks. bc a mentor is a cross between a friend and a colleague and a relative; we jokingly called him my lesbian uncle. and so losing him from my life so completely over something like this is deeply shitty. 

12. Would you like to be famous and if so, what for?  not now, but before i was sick i would’ve said yes. BUT only bc i think i would be a great Saturday Night Live host (not a cast member! just a one time host with a monologue/skits). So whatever level of fame i needed to get that..

13. Are you a restless sleeper? I have really bad insomnia that means i take at least an hour to fall asleep most nights. Once I’m out, I usually sleep ok, but i do have intense dreams/nightmares that wake me up sometimes. 

14. Do you consider yourself a romantic person? yeah :/

15. Which element best represents you? earth: the wet dirt and leaves in a forest after rain in particular

16. Who do you want to be closer to? emotionally i’m pretty good i think. physically i wish i could be closer to friends and family in NYC, Seattle area, TN/Atlanta, and Germany

17. Do you miss someone at the moment? the people referenced above. also missing my Grandmomma a lot lately and my mom.

Tell us about an early childhood memory. art lessons with my grandmomma. her set of pastels that were all worn down and the heavy paper (black) that she pulled out to work on. she drew a quick portrait of a man, showing me how to create depth in skin tones with blue and green against the softer flesh tones. she didn’t blend it out, the marks all painterly and strong-- her style. i was 10, maybe? 12? so not *early* but it feels like forever ago. 

19. What is the strangest thing you have eaten? i have no idea? i’ve eaten a lot of weirdish cheeses. i’ve had geoduck? 

20. What are you most thankful for? the amazing friends i’ve gathered into my life along the way, my dad, and my baby dog. 

21. Do you like spicy food? yes, within reason (i don’t get stuff that’s spicy just for the heck of it, like ghost pepper chips or whatever? but when spice is integrated in with other flavors i love it)

Have you ever met someone famous? i used to make up stories about meeting famous people that were based on partial truths. i’ve hung out with or met a lot of gay famous people. but the biggest person who comes to mind is Sandra Bernhard. I sold her cheese.  23. Do you do you keep a diary or journal? i have over the years. now i sometimes write things down in a paper journal, but mostly go to a really old blogging site where i basically put all my big feelings down in a public but sorta private spot.  

24. Do you prefer to use a pen or a pencil? depends on my mood.

26. Do you like your cereal soggy or crunchy? in between...not HARD crunchy, but not soft soggy. 

27. What would you want your legacy to be? would like people to remember that i loved them well and made them feel good/happy when i was around them. and hopefully that it made them feel like being good to others too. 

28. Do you like reading, what was the last book you read? i do, but i’m mostly reading fic these days. i think the thing i read last was Pink Like the Paradise Found, which was FANTASTIC!

29. How do you show someone you love them? i tell them, shower them with physical affection, and do little things for them. also try to remember small details about what they enjoy and then do stuff to make them feel good when they’re down

30. Do you like ice in your drinks? yes, but not too much

31. What are you afraid of? sometimes being along but only when it’s very dark out and i’m in the sads. honestly-- this is some deep internalized ableism but here it is --i’m very afraid of never getting better and not being able to take care of myself or anyone else.

33. Do you address older people by their name or surname? however they’re introduced i guess. maybe because i’m an older person lol

If money was not a factor, how would you live your life? i would live in the apartment i had alone (with a guest room). i would hire someone from my community to come help me out sometimes. i would get a weekly grocery delivery from the good quality place. i would have a dog walker. and i would fly home to see my family more than once a year and fly my family out for a visit sometimes. so like. probably the way a lot of ppl live? idk. 

35. Do you prefer swimming in pools or the ocean? ocean

36. What would you do if you found £50 on the ground? get dinner at the thai restaurant down the street a couple times. 

37. Have you ever seen a shooting star? yes, lots!

What is the one thing you would want to teach your children? i’m not having kids BUT for the kids in my life, i try to teach them/model the importance of consent and respect for their own bodies as well as other people’s. and i know it said one thing, but alongside that is that i respect and love them for who they are, and that’s something they get to decide. 

39. If you had to have a tattoo, what would it be and where would you get it? i want a lot of tattoos, but if i could get one tomorrow it would be a cheese themed tattoo with a variety of cheese knives (parm tools, dutch style knife) and a small cheese assortment. or a portrait of my dog

40. What can you hear now? this kinda dumb netflix show that i decided to binge today even tho it’s only kinda meh and my dog snoring just a little.
