Sury & Mela are a pair of adventurers who host the newscast, as well as the occasional splatfest as a side job. Their aesthetics are supposed to be steampunk and cyberpunk respectively (I can also see that being their first splatfest-Theme). I've shown their non-splatoon OCs on here and kinda designed them to be opposites - I thought they fitted perfectly for idols :D

Flint and Ano are a pair of cybernetically enhanced (or even completely robotic...?) cephalopods who escaped the tyrannical companies that created them and hope to bring peace and happiness towards the galaxy. Both have a very sci-fi esque aesthetic and I can see them working with that "space station"-world hub idea I had.
