The harbingers we're having a meeting with, well, y'know... the usual and boring ass stuff with the Tsaritsa. That is until they were interrupted by a group of fatui agents, who panted as they almost unintentionally broke the door.

"P-pardon us for the interruption. Y-your Majesty." A female agent stammered out. "B-but this is... urgent."

*Insert them telling their surperiors that they spotted someone (you ofc) that looked like their Grace and that the person was with another person and a wolf-looking creature (they dont know its your dog ok 😭🤚) *

"Someone that looks like... Our Grace? Are you certain?"

"Yes. Your Majesty."

"The jacket's nice..." You awkwardly said out of the blue as d/n happily walked around the snowy terrain, his/her paws making a faint yet satistfying crunch on the snow as he/she walked, with a leash much to the poor doggo's dismay (cus bro this huge baby loves running around without a leash)

"Awh, thanks n/n (nickname)" Your bsf answered in a sing-song tone.

"Remember the time we met bro?" (You call your bsf bro regardless of their gender, they dont mind lol)

Oh, how faith was feeling generous that day, by making the teacher partner you with y/b/f/n... Though, you had to admit, it was kinda awkward at first...

Just as when as your new friend tried to extend their arm for a handshake, they may have accidentally spilt some paint with their arm. Oops.

"We last spotted them near a house, sir. They were with someone else and a creature that appeared to be a wolf of sorts."

"Hm~? A house~?" Columbina asked in her soft, sing-song voice.

"Yes mam."

After that the Tsaritsa ordered everyone, the harbingers included (for you simps), to go to this house and see if its actually their creator or nah.

D/n fell asleep on his/her bed. Bruh.

You guys sat down on the couch, an awkward silence could be felt between you, Though it was cutted off by a knock on your door.

"Ima go get it."

"Bruh sure, ima head into my room if you need me." You gave y/b/f/n a thumbs up before going up the stairs. Unaware of the big surprise thats coming to you. Both of you.

eyes dont lie.

summary: y/n and matt are friends with undying love for eachother, but they wont say anything until y/n notices something about the way matt looks at her.

warning: fluff, kissing, swearing, confessing of love, friends to lovers, fem!reader

ok bby lets get on with this

matt stared at y/n from across the room, taking in how beautiful she looked just sitting there and laughing with her friends, they way her eyes crinkled when she smiled and laughed, her smile lines showing but only enhancing how much happier she looked, her eyes lighting up when someone cracked a joke or said something she liked to talk about or was interested in.

a small grin crossed onto his features just looking at how beautiful the girl was — the girl whom he called a friend, knowing he felt so much more than a friend should.

he could only look at y/n for a few moments before her eyes trailed from her friends to his. she couldn’t help but look at him every few minutes, but she wasnt expecting to see his eyes on hers aswell.

she stared into his eyes, watching closely as a pink blush scattered onto his cheeks and his pupils dilated a bit.

his breathing faltered, feeling small under her gaze. even from across the room.

he suddenly felt hot, he swallowed and broke the intense eye contact. he quickly looked to a wall and concentrated on his breathing, trying to think about anything else other than the intense eye contact that just went down.

he stood up abruptly and walked out of the room, leaving y/n watching him. she excused herself from her friends, claming she needed to use the restroom.

she quickly followed matt, without matt knowing she gained speed and grabbed his arm.

he whipped his head around to look at the person whom had just grabbed his arm. his breath hitched in his throat when his eyes laid on the girl he had a massive crush on, just couldnt tell.

“matt.” she spoke, not in a stern way. but in a rather calm state of tone, knowing she would need to keep herself calm for the next few moments.

“ive seen the way you look at me.” she said quickly after, matts eyes widened and his lips parted as he thought about what his next words would be.

“what way?” he decided on. y/ns lips formed into a small smile as she stared at him, acting oblivious although she could see right through him.

“dont act stupid. I can see your pupils go heart shaped when you look at me. eyes dont lie.” she chuckled, taking a step closer to matt.

he took in a deep breath and opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

“its okay matty. I like you too.” y/n spoke for him. matts cheeks went a light pink as he stared down at her, her words finally processing in his brain.

he squeezed his eyes shut taking in a breath, before opening them again and putting his hands on her neck, he pulled her towards him and pressed his lips onto hers.

(yall idek if thats a proper ending but I lowk love it idk ab yall tho)

idk if these are obvious or not but I want to point them out so here you go!!! dont mind the self indulgence djsflkds

(also to everyone who rbed and or left nice tags. I love you. ;_; im going to happiness cry im in genuine SHOCK from the attention that it got in 1 night what the fuck literally what the absolute FUCK im going to explode. aaawuwuhfhfdh /pos ;____; )

SQUIP speech bubbles are based on 「Japanese quotation marks」 when I could finagle it

2. Michael's glasses, eyebrow, and pupil hidden in the girl sitting at the front! As well as his hair and headphones in the border.

On his left headphone, I used R instead of L because A) I flipped the panel after drawing it [as you can see from the alphabet lol] and B) I didn't want to use L and risk it looking like a speech bubble that says "L" lmao.. Later on page 5, I labeled Michael's headphones again hoping to prompt you to go back to this part in page 3 and look for his face OTL

Also as someone pointed out, Jenna and Brooke are in the left part of this panel, plus Rich in front of the alphabet (and in my mind, Jake partially covered by the speech bubble lol). And as many pointed out, you can see Michael's dialogue in the bottom of this panel too.

3. Vague silhouette of Michael's face in the border of page 3

4. In PE, the biggest yell in the background is "Get him!" implying they're telling Michael to get Jeremy or vice versa (because of course, everyone else can still see Michael).

(Also: the Michael progression of page 3 is kind of "oh, maybe he's ignoring me because the teacher's teaching?" to "come on dude this isn't funny... but I guess we're opponents and he's trying to score this goal...?" to "okay, everyone's slacking off right now including Jeremy so why isn't he responding, is he dead? Am *I* dead?!"

I imagine the final page is when Jeremy's walking out of school; Michael kind of realizes what's happening and tries to hold Jeremy still so he can't walk away again and so he has to acknowledge him. And throughout, the touches get progressively more personal from a tap on the shoulder, the back, grabbing arms, touching hair, and then a full body hug.)

5. Finally, as a stretch: in the last page, I omitted Jeremy's mouth partly because I couldn't draw a mouth that conveyed this emotion strongly enough (lol), but also as a bit of a reversal of Michael being "muted" by the squip - Jeremy is visually "muted" upon finally being forced to acknowledge him. It's a stretch because Jeremy literally talks in this panel lol (unless he's just thinking, I guess).

hollow knght: tpk, lurien, tiso. tpk for obvious reasons (plus i dont really like a lot of high up characters in general like focusing on tpk in fics kinda makes me eyes roll when the vessels are right there. lurien for reasons :). tiso because people went through a stint where he was just silly himbo and kept shippig him with quirrel nd i fucking hated that lol. his design slaps though

tcw: the bad batch lol fucking HATE them. tech is tolerable, and i dont even count echo one of them, free him!!! but the rest are condesceding assholes sorry idc if they get better in their own show like sorry you sold them to me as 'ooo arent they soooo cool theyre so much better than those Regulr Clones Boooo, look at them!!! like fuck off lol. you will never be captain rex

undertale/deltarune: detanged one but ice-e. ex went through a period where he as weirdly obsessed with him and thought he'd be super important and it annoyed me :)

ok now outside of my regular fdoms, characters i still loathe include

ralph from the flash- he was this stretchy dude who was awful abt women and like sure he kiiiida got over it but it felt weak and i hated him and the actor ended up being shitty anyway.. in the same universe i didnt like either oliver or barry's daughters from the future, both were very annoying lol

mon el from super girl. i hate him. kill him.annoying boring no chemistry love interest. kill him

eric sparrow from tony hawks underground- though i will concede that like the hollow knight characters, he contrbutes in really important ways to the story. like your'e SUPPOSED to hate him thats the point, they do a very good job with it. like he's written fantastically, and i want to kill him. i alway think of this article i read about him that was like 'eric sparrow is my best friend and he wants to hurt me' like yeah thats it thats the character. like i LIKE WHAT THEY DID, which sets him apart from almost everyone else here, its just what they did makes you hate him lol

last movie you watched: the new hunger games!! went to see it at the cinema with two friends :) it was good, unsettling exactly where it needed to be (which was. most of the time LOL) and its managed to pull off the 'act as a standalone but still have room for a sequel if someone wanted to' balance v well. and id watch a sequel! but overall i cant lie i prefer the original trilogy...

currently watching: house md on my own, im on season 7 rn and [spoilers] have finally left huddy hell. i love masters btw my friend masters ❤️she just had her first main pov ep and it was a good un. im also watching doctor who when mine gustes and peris schedules line up, and also taskmaster with guste :)

other things you’ve watched this year: ummmm lots but some of my faves are still across the spiderverse, also limitless and alien, and also american psycho but thats sort of from last year, i watched it nye with nami and it hit 2023 like halfway through for me LOL

currently reading: money by martin amis!! its good ive read time's arrow by him before too. he's got a fun way of writing but idk how i feel about him putting himself as a character in this one lol???!!! also i guess i technically have a few other books on the go too but tbh im not actively reading them... btw if anyone wants my goodreads send me a dm !!! i would love more friends on there

currently listening to: my albums 2023 playlist which is um. 1500 songs strong still. i swear ive listened to plenty its just that i keep adding more oopsy doopsy

currently working on: editing my longish nrmts fic so that i can finally start the last three out of ten chappys.... problem is is that im doing this mostly at work when the bars quiet LOL. im also trying to draw more frequently!! ive made it as easy and low stakes as possible for myself (using a biro in some small lined notebook, means i dont get fixated on making things look perfect and also means i dont need to fill up too much space to finish a full page) but its still a habit in progress ....

current obsession: honestly probably the gym. im following what i guess based on exercises and number of sets and reps would be considered a powerbuilding program?? october saw me doing proper strength building work for the first time Ever rather than just hypertrophy/muscle building and ive finally started doing bench press using an actual barbell rack set up!!! and i really like it :P

im well aware this is an irrational and stupid hill to die on, but again, i need to state, marble hornets is not creepypasta, at least in my opinion

this is what i think qualifies creepypasta ok? Written internet horror story. thats it. but the qualifier there is written. can there be a video series based on/to pair with a written creepypasta? hell yeah there can! can there be a larger story/arg elements around a creepypasta besides the main written story! hell the fuck yeah, just look at ben drowned! but i dont think marble hornets hits that qualifier, at least in my opinion

theres only really one written portion of the entire story, and well. you dont need it. its not a written story, its basically the exact same thing as the introduction video. i dont think it counts. marble hornets is something different, its a found footage horror and suspense series posted to youtube, its an arg, its what fans commonly refer to as ‘slenderverse’ (though i always thought that was a little funny considering its the only series with that term applied to it that isnt connected to any of the other series. im pretty sure multiple other slenderverse series have canonically stated that mh is a fictional series in their universes)

and heres another argument. ive never seen anyone argue that everymanhybrid is creepypasta. ive never seen anyone try and tell me that, idk, the walten files or mystery flesh pit national park are creepypasta. and heres why i think that is, and its just a theory but. back in 2009 and later when slenderman was new and marble hornets was new and creepypasta wasnt really a thing yet, the internet saw marble hornets clips out of context. fans of the series would post screencaps or clips of masky and hoodie, people would see them without knowing what it was from. in the nature of internet horror, someone saw a spooky image and ran with it, kind of like how jeff the killer happened. but marble hornets is its own horror story. so taking a character from that and just making them completely different from canon its like. well. if you took fucking, i dunno, spongebob, and were like ‘well i found out about this character from a story i read online which makes him the Internets Property!’ and someone else was like ‘hey just so you know, hes actually from an existing tv series, you should check it out if you like the character’ and then you were like ‘but hes my internet story character and i wanna keep him that way!’ like

like thats fine, i promise, but when yknow. its a character from something other people enjoy, theres like. a few common sense options to not be a dick here, yknow? either redeisgn the character enough that theres a clear difference between the original and the new version, or stop tagging the new version as the original. its not hard.

but yeah in conclusion, marble hornets isnt creepypasta imo, and once again id like to ask creepypasta artists to maybe please stop tagging your creepypasta posts as marble hornets, its a courtesy thing yknow? no ones asking you to stop using masky and hoodie, but we are literally begging you to stop tagging creepypasta posts with marble hornets. you know theres a difference, i know you do, and if you can look me in the eye and tell me a compelling argument for why there isnt and why you should be allowed to post about ticci toby and jeff in the mh tag ill eat my fucking hat

Friends to lovers, multi chapter, barely hurt comfort anymore, no beta we die like Glenn, idk what to tag this I’ve never written fic before lmao, some body horror this chapter (descriptions of a creature that looks like the library)

Rating: it’s still pretty teen.

Chapter 4/?

Previous Chapter:

Absolutely delighted by the suggestion Scam sits back up on the couch. “Truth or dare hmm? Thats a bold choice~ Wouldn’t that be more fun with …. Let’s say one or two more players?” As he counts a blue and pink version of Scam appear on the couch on either side of him.

All three versions of Scam grin and eye Jodie like he’s on the menu.

“Or is it too overwhelming to be… let’s call it ‘outnumbered’ for now~”

Jodie figured he’d have some way of giving himself the advantage, But now faced with three versions of Chaos incarnate his confidence was starting to waver. “It’s fine. I can handle it”

“Oooh! Delightful! Tell me since you’re so brave, are we placing a wager? Perhaps the first to back out owes the other one favor~?” The grin that was spreading across Scam’s face had Jodie’s mouth feeling a bit too dry.

“I’ll take that bet… But one rule, no dares that magically change my life…. Deal?” Like hell he was going to play if he was going to pull something like he did to Ron again.

“Deal~ this is a friendly game, I’m not looking to avenge anyone this time so you can relax~ “ he holds out a slightly too long hand to shake on it and Jodie, who’s starting to think he made a mistake, shakes before he can change his mind. “ Go ahead then you brave boy~ start the game~”

Jodie sits back on the couch trying to feign confidence. “Ok. Truth or dare?”

The original Scam laughs “I believe it was Ron who said dare was the sexier option~ so go ahead! Hit me with your best dare~”

Shit. He’d been hoping for truth so he could get him to admit he’s been messing with him. “I dare you not to use any magic for the rest of the night” Jodie grins right back at Scam.

“Ohhh? Interesting! cut me off then~ These two will disappear on their own anyway~” Scam was enjoying this probably more than Jodie knew. It was rare that someone else initiated anything like this with him.

The pink Scam temples his fingers, smirking at Jodie “Truth or Dare Jodie?”

Jodie weighs his options. He was sure all versions of Scam would target him so he was about to get asked the same thing two more times… “truth.”

“I’ll make it a juicy one then~” Scam Pink laughs, absolutely tickled by the fact that he gets to ask something he’d been curious about “Do you miss being human?”

Jodie frowns Scam would be able to tell if he lied, that much he was sure of… So he’d give him the honest truth “It was me but it wasn’t… I lived in that reality for most of Nickolas’ life… every last memory I have of his childhood is back there in that life… so its natural for me to miss it sometimes isn’t it? I suppose I could just go back to earth if I really wanted to… I could look human again… but Nicky…. He’s not who he used to be either…. So it wouldn’t be the same…it wouldn’t be that peaceful easy life we had as a family no matter what I did… I don’t know that I fully want it to be either… Nicky has both Glenn and I and He likes the freedom of going back and forth… so I’ll just keep working, and spend the time with him that I can…So yeah sometimes I miss it… but I don’t want to go back…”

The expression on every version of Scam sitting across from him softens slightly. The pink one speaks up again, suddenly next to him. “It’s normal to mourn parts of your life that are gone~ you went through big changes after all~” He traces a finger over one of Jodie’s horns as if to make his point in the most flirtatious way possible.

“Yeah well it’s not like I miss the time I spent as the battle axe of hatred and that was a big part of my life too…” he doesn’t pull away when the pink version of Scam wraps an arm around him “you’re probably right though…. wait! you lose, you teleported to this couch!”

A chorus of Scam’s laughter drowns out the jazz music for a moment before they settle back down “That wasn’t magic~ I’m just that fast!”

Any victorious feeling that briefly flashed up inside of Jodie just as quickly fizzled out. “You just get more impressive with everything I learn about you…”

The original Scam just smiles, two of his hands clasping over his heart, another hand fanning himself. “Ohh what a flatterer you are! ‘be still my heart’ and all that~” Though he was sure it was unintentional Scam was enjoying the positive attention he was getting. “It’s my turn! Truth or Dare…. Hmm… I choose Jodie~”

He wasn’t surprised, he’d expected to be chosen every turn. What he hadn’t accounted for was losing half his focus to the Pink Scam who was leaning against him. He figured it was Scam trying to comfort him so he just lets it happen. “Truth”

“Hmm~ I can’t help but feel like you’re trying to take the easy way out~” He laughs and leans back on the couch, crossing his legs. It didn’t matter really to him what Jodie chose, he was having fun playing, but truth afforded him some opportunities he wouldn’t otherwise have. “Are you interested in someone~?”

Shit well, at least he hadn’t asked Jodie to name names. “Yes…. There’s someone that’s got me interested”

“Ohhh? Tell me, is it someone we know?~” Both the blue and purple versions of Scam lean closer. The pink version seemed perfectly comfortable where it was, several hands curled around the arm he was leaning on.

Jodie grins at Scam “one question at a time” and there it was, the last time he could choose truth without being in danger of admitting something. He relaxes a bit knowing what was going to come next.

The blue version of Scam folds his arms “truth or dare! I choose… Scam!”

“What?” Jodie’s mind was racing with a million questions, he had thought these were just copies of Scam, but were they thinking independently? Why would he choose himself? What was he playing at?

“Truth~” he swings one of his legs a bit, all four hands folded in his lap as he keeps his eyes firmly locked on Jodie.

The blue Scam smirks as though he’s got one up on himself “has anyone caught your eye?”

“Ohhh yes~ very much so~! I find him incredibly interesting and it doesn’t hurt at all that he’s so ridiculously good looking~ if only he’d get the hint~!” He doesn’t break eye contact with Jodie, staring him down with intent.

He frowns, everything seemed to suggest it was part of the bit directed at him. But…Scam seemed to take games pretty seriously so he didn’t doubt he was actually just confessing to liking someone. He wonders briefly if any of the other Daddies fit that description. There’s a flash of jealousy when he tries to picture it.

“If he’s not picking up on hints why don’t you just be direct?”

Scam shouldn’t be surprised Jodie was still being so stubbornly oblivious, but really that was as close to an actual confession as he’d gone and it’d still failed. “It might surprise you to hear, but I’m not fond of rejection either~”

“Do… you want help?” Jodie knew realistically that he’d probably have a hard time doing it but he honestly wanted to see Scam happy.

“That’s nice of you to offer but the act of seduction is a game in of itself~ it’s not exactly one you play in teams, though if it was, I would love nothing more to be on your team~” Scam’s smile softens even more.

“Maybe that’s exactly why it isn’t working…? You keep thinking of things in terms of games… but relationships don’t work like that… you are supposed to be a team. You can’t build something long lasting if you both aren’t working together… maybe treat it like that and see if it makes a difference?”

Scam goes quiet biting back the want to insist that he’s actually right, sitting back again on the couch a bit rigidly “I think you might be right~ maybe I’m wrong after all… isn’t that concept a novelty?~ It’s your turn again Jodie!”

“Yeah, uh okay Truth or Dare?” He smiles, this was pretty fun after all.

“Who? Me, me or the other me?” Scam visibly relaxes, laughing.

“You” Jodie laughs too.

“Oh of course~ I choose dare! Give me your worst, handsome~ I can handle it!”

He claps his hands excitedly.

“I dare you to…” shit, he was drawing a blank. Everything his brain was supplying was so juvenile. “Oh! This isn’t it right? So show me what you really look like.”

His eyes widen in surprise. “Oh what an interesting dare! Are you absolutely sure that’s what you want~? It’s not going to be very fun for you”

He shrugs, giving him a smug smile “I thought you said you could handle it. I guess you chicken out then ?”

“Oh no, Not at all! I just don’t want you to have any regrets~” he supposes it was a just matter of time before Jodie saw it and any budding interest he could have had in him fades to nothing. He didn’t actually want to do this, but it was a dare and he wasn’t about to lose. “Will it count against the dare forbidding me from magic? I can’t do both~”

“It’s an exception, come on, don’t try to get out of it with excuses” Jodie had been curious since they’d met and now that he’d dared him he was intent on seeing it.

“If you insist~” his skin starts to bubble, his bones cracking and creaking as his limbs and spine lengthen. His skin pulls tight across the changing bones in his face, several more eyes open below and above the three he’d had already, his jaw spitting into a grin that was wider than his elongated face could accommodate.

Jodie stares up at him, dwarfed by Scam in this form. If he was being honest with himself, this didn’t hinder his attraction to Scam in the least.

The other two versions of Scam are pulled into him, disappearing into the skin of his massively long arms. He moves forward, meter long fingers curling around Jodie’s chest, pinning him against the couch with just one hand. He leans in, face inches from Jodie’s, more then a half dozen eyes locked on him .

Jodie’s heart was pounding in his ears. He could feel a blush spreading over his face “shit…”

Scam could feel his heart racing.

He quickly changes back “Oops~ I guess that was probably a bit much for you huh? It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to let loose like that~! But it’s fine~ Really, who doesn’t prefer a more compact and sexy Scam~?” He laughs, uncomfortable with how quiet Jodie had gotten, leaning close, a significantly smaller hand still planted on the center of Jodie’s chest. His heart rate wasn’t slowing. He must have terrified him.

“You… wow….” Jodie smiles, no hint of fear in his voice, there was however an edge of excitement to his voice that was the last thing he expected out of the demon “damn you’re tall…”

Scam makes no effort to move from his position, Jodie’s genuine smile throwing him for a loop. This, he was sure, was not going to be the last time Jodie would absolutely fascinate him. This was enough to tip the scales for him, no more skirting around what he wanted. His voice practically a purr “Truth or Dare Jodie~”

“Dare…” Jodie’s smile widens a bit.

“Kiss me~ if you’re not a cowar—“

Jodie doesn’t wait for him to finish, closing the distance between them, lips crashing against Scam’s in a desperate open mouth kiss. He reaches up, sliding a hand into Scam’s hair and pulling him closer.

Scam moans into the kiss, closing his eyes and losing himself in it. He’d wanted this for a while and it was everything he’d imagined and more… it wasn’t by any means a good kiss… it was sloppy and desperate… but it was the desperation he found so appealing. The way they both held each other tightly pressed against the other, wanting to somehow kiss harder, to kiss more, a crescendo of feelings they’d both been holding back. Any doubts he had about Jodie feeling something back were gone, no one kisses like this and doesn’t mean it.

i would sell my soul for the chance to be in the same room as lalo salamanca. he consumes me. every single episode i watched with my bf i asked when he was gonna show up. for 4 entire seasons he had to listen to me say "is this when lalo gets introduced?" when he died i had to leave the room and go cry in my bathroom for more than ten minutes i was so incredibly distraught it was like i lost a real person in my life

obligatory after BCS. i dont like breaking bad for the narrative or the deep meaning or any of that bullshit i liked it because i enjoy taking the piss out of every single thing walter white does and my boyfriend had to listen to me explain in detail how i wouldve killed him if i had the chance every single episode. jesse and skyler deserve the world

i know this makes me a nerd since this is a natgeo docuseries (?) but its genuinely one of my favourite shows. i know all the shit that happens to them is mostly staged but there's a lot of indigenous inupiaq people highlighted on this show and they show off their culture so respectfully and also sometimes it just has me on the edge of my seat like sue aikens goes "idk what that sound was. maybe a wolf" and i go "oh shit. a wolf!!!"

6. TUT

as far as ancient egyptian dramas (my long time only historical interest ive been an ancient egypt dictionary since i was 10 years old) this one wasnt too bad! which is saying a lot cough netflix cleopatra. the costumes were decent and as far as historical accuracy it wasnt the worst ive seen.

7. Sr. Ávila

i admittedly only started watching this because tony's in it but ive actually come to really like it as its own show separate from him. its dark and emotional and im really invested in his story and saving his family while trying to keep the syndicate operating at the same time. its kind of like lalo lite. walmart lalo.

8. Book of Boba Fett

i loved how much this show pissed off the star wars dudebros. im not even really into star wars anymore but the way they redid his character and gave him an actual personality and morals to compliment his established backstory was so good and for some reason the middle aged incels hated it and thats what i love. hes also hot as fuck. thick thick man.

Generally? Whatever.

Carmen DID say

" I thought I knew you like the big brother I never had.-"

And " gray was like a big brother to me"

So like when most people aren't really invested in their bond being anything else because "well carmen said-" and take her at her word i get it.

And it is a part of how she used to think about him back then.

Mostly though? Because its usually being used to shut down potentially romantic red crackle? Mildly Annoying.

Because "like" doesn't make actually him her brother. (Idk if you were here at the beginning but its was..hmpppf)

both times its an acknowledgment that its a past dynamic .

HE IS NOT LOOKING AT HER AS A POTENTIAL KINDA SISTER.

And dynamics ...change. she literally also says right after. The first brother quote " until that moment" because she doesn't actually know him as well as she thought if he almost crossed a line she hates. So on that train it really is kinda set back to for old friendships sake.

And the the second quote is right before she looks at him. Who she knows is romantically interested in her. Waiting to date her and sees that as a a do over and second chance.

"OK maybe shes gonna convince him they'd make better platonic friends on the date"

Except the next time she does make it across to the table she FLIRTS with him back and says she's sorry she stood him up...um she knows it was a date date. And acted as such.

Shes not acting closed to the idea of gray acting more flirtatious with her . Or making her banter a little flirty back.

:p I'm not gonna pretend carmen is all settled in this potential do over but thats more because shes asked to sacrifice it for what is safe or right. Its kinda her thing as a hero.

And narratively speaking i would find it kind of lame if carmens perception didn't change in the slightest if what almost tempted her down the street wasn't even the slightest tempting to her

Because at the very least the dynamic shes reclaiming involved her being protective, more actively going after him when she can. Asking for a more equal friendship of protect and protected from both sides. Both professional thieves. Both good guys remember. And an understanding that they can't completely go back to the original dynamic because carmen just does not believe in evil ☆ and gray uhhhh thinks shes hot now.

They still have a ways to go (messes ♡) but their dynamic is changing bit by bit via adopting small revisions in how they see each other

What they end up with is still striving for at least a (flirty) friendship again, not really sorta siblings. Even if they end up having to settle for person I care enough to give up to protect

Carmen is just as likely to refer to him as classmate and friend instead.

Tldr: maybe she did but that doesn't make it something that she isn't open to revising .

I'm more whatever about it when its not obviously [CARMEN WOULD NEVER CONSIDER ANYTHING ELSE.] She did. She canonically did give a little 👀.

Oh also this reminds me of one my friend was talking about something similar (LMAO) like akito is super athletic and stuff so my best friend and i were reading VBS events because he couldnt play for a few months and he was like "i cant even begin to imagine how strong his kicks have to be, like it probably would hurt like HURT way too much" and we burst out laughing, the thing is in spanish we got this saying (i love it so much its so silly) that literally translated would be "one blow and it restarts your life" the joke of that saying its like basically the hit its just so strong it would not only knock you out but literally restarts your life, like it was so strong it could send you to the past or the other interpretation its that not only did the blow killed you but it sended you to your next life xDDDDDD its usually accompanied by someone else saying "one blow and I end up in kindergarten" (sorry for talking to much 😞)

As for toya... i personally think that hide and seek with him would be another horror game probably... why i think so? Idk i feel like he would be too quiet... too quiet AND stealthy like he would come out of nowhere as if he would have spawned out of thin air and be so calm about it like "ah.. there you are" and meanwhile he accidentally gave me a heart attack (truly a horror game x2) in a way this thing that my brain imagined basically made toya like kuroko from kuroko no basket xDDD (it has been a while since the last time i watched or talked about kuroko no basket... time really flies, anyway it was better than i was expecting at first and i ended up liking it a lot) once again sorry for talking to much 😞😞😞
