#idk my grandpa is youngest of 10 kids I have a lot of relatives

Last week I was given the choice of whether to spend the last month of summer with my mom or go with my dad’s SIL to Uzbekistan, and I picked my mom for obvious reasons: a) I haven’t seen her in almost a year and I miss her, b) Uzbekistan means either my overbearing grandparents or dad’s SIL’s relatives who I’ve never met, and c) it’ll actually be a chance to relax rather than be subjected to my grandma’s clean freak tendencies
HOWEVER, an extra bonus point to why I’m happy to not be going to Uzbekistan is that after all the writing and headcanons I’ve created, I don’t think I would be able to look my actual, real life Aunt Haya in the eyes
#I swear to fucking god that was not intentional#I came up with Haya’s name within like 10 seconds while writing the first chapter of SotRL#the first name that came to mind that sounded like something Ghazan’s parents would name another one of their kids#I had completely forgotten that I actually have an aunt named Haya#well. she’s not my actual aunt. like not my dad’s sister#but she is a relative of some degree#idk my grandpa is youngest of 10 kids I have a lot of relatives#point is my sister and I were taught to call her aunt haya#cause she used to watch us a lot when we were kids and were left with our grandparents#the irony of it all#she’s actually really nice though. nothing at all like Haya in sotrl#obviously no one knows what I named my oc except my sister and she was too little to remember when we stayed in Uzbekistan#but if somehow this knowledge ever gets to her I would like to personally apologise#тёть Хайя простите пожалуйста я не специально >-<
