i hate that people disregarded all su criticism as "taking a children's show too seriously" as if the zoomans aren't. like. the zoomans. & now it seems to be expected for everyone to just not take issue with su at all

#perth.txt #idk much abt the validity of the criticisms on the diamonds though it also seems valid to me #& the defense that 'its a kids show' doesnt sit well w me bc if youre doing a kids show you should still approach themes you can handle #if you approach themes of dictatorship & tyranny you gotta be willing to handle it properly & if you dont yes youll face criticism #like kids show or not thats a mindset you can pass onto children & forgiving people's mistakes is one thing forgiving fascists is another #& ppl using re/becca being jewish as a defense is? really fucking weird? like ben shapiro is also jewish yknow.#one of the biggest fascist politicians in france rn is jewish. i think this is an incredibly bad faith argument. as a jew myself #not saying re/becca is a fascist at all but like theyre very much not above making bad analogies & its insulting to claim otherwise #like beyond all the shit that can be argued about though the zoomans shit is inexcusable no matter how you look at it sorry
