man. idk how the fuck i'd want vlad to be handled in a reboot. im thinking about it rn... the two main directions i see is leaning into the supervillain stuff tragedy-style w/ him losing everything kinda like canon but better, or a redemption arc (either could be good or bad depending on writing quality)

#like listen.... realistically vlad dies bitter and alone after pushing everyone he cared about away by being a greedy shithead bastard. like #like redemption arcs are SO tricky and alot of them fall into these really shitty victim blaming tropes OR fall into ''i can fix him''#and both of those are SUCH a slog because redemption arcs take alot of time to do #and thats something alot of stories fall into... but goddamn it redemption arcs+understanding+healing+friendship #+love+ALL THAT are my SHIT dude i eat that stuff UPPP #i tend to not be a huge tragedy head (too bleak 4 me) but i do think thats the easier direction to go w/ for vlad #u could also do both but if u fuck it up either the tragedy falls flat or the redemption is even worst then it otherwise would be #like if that goes wrong u get a soup character with a ton of focus that doesnt work #idk man its 1 am and im vlad posting LMAO
