I try not to bitch too much about fanfics and stuff but man. kinda sucks when you're reading fics for a m/f ship and rather being written like the characters themselves, they're written as just a generic straight couple. like no no no, I can assure that guy is not the big macho man you've painted him as, nor her the delicate dainty swooning woman, and whatever they've got going on is so much weirder than that
