if theres one thing about me its that Hello my name is neurotic about the ways my songs are interpreted
#ari opinion hour#so truly it is the case that so often when i write i make decisions based on how things are likely to be interpreted by my audience#i Need Things To Be Clear#idk if this is normal for songwriters. it occurs to me that its normal for other arts but like. its weird because whenever this comes up it#that like.#my normal writing style is things Come to me and if it doesnt feel right it feels Extremely Forced#and this results in me having to choose between what Feels Right and what The Audience Will Interpret Correctly and usually im pretty good#at figuring out a way to do Both at the same time but whenever i choose the former over the latter thinking about how ppl will interpret#it upsets me and when i choose the latter over the former im like AUGH!!!!! because it doesnt Feel Right#it is a complicated life i lead. anyway. UPSETTING THINGS i must consider.#i hate decisions. what if its weird.
