I'm not going to lie, kinda mad they didn't start off from where the last one ended I wanted to see what happened between Tilan and the Emperor first. I guess I can deal with Haishi and Jian Ming.

I still don't think she did that to make him help her homeland, so I don't know why he decided to help them. See, this isn't what she wanted at all. Otherwise, she wouldn't be crying. I think she was honestly trying to push him away.

Does Tang Qi love Tilan? Anyway, I hope she can stop taking that contraceptive because it might end up killing her.

So Zhe Liu found out that her Aunt was sending those messages. So I guess her aunt really was on the bad side. Well, idk bad perse but just the side against the Emperor.

So Haishi has that connection to the mermaid. Does the tattoo thing just like call the mermaid to her or what? Also, Jianming doesn't seem to do anything without a plan. I think he wanted to spend time with Haishi but he knew that he couldn't really so he used it as an excuse to do work.
