day 7 no power 🤘🏻 got paid not unemployed got a generator to run fans that’s all i needed now im not sweltering in here
day 5 no powerrrr don’t know when i’m getting paid bc my corporate office was in the mountains might be unemployed after all this 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
#okay it wasn’t THAT hot it was just 80 with 80% humidity ALL WEEK w barely a breeze#the humidity is what fucks it up like everything’s just. eugh#i think we’ll have power this weekend all the substations are back up they’re just fixing poles & lines now and they’re over halfway done#they have like 250 crews out here working 24hr shifts… and everyday more come in from out of state#idk if natl guard is still here i haven’t seen them since like monday but they were just helping move debris#we didn’t flood or anything here just trees everywhere#lots of houses & parks damaged mostly most of them are repairable just … expensive#i think 3? people died in my town? it might’ve been 2 in town 3 in county#bc of trees falling on cars#our creeks & stuff did flood it looked. insane but they like splashed onto the road didn’t actually submerge anything#i think one road got washed out here but all the roads connect here so that’s fine
