ironic thing that happened. i worked at a health center as a receptionist for about a year while covid cases were still high and ppl were coming in infected every day and handing me their IDs, prescriptions, history of vaccination. i did the necessary precautions to avoid getting infected. it went fine.

months after i left my job, my muscles hurt and i cant stop coughing. i panic because my dad, who's classified as a person at high risk of developing a serious case, was also showing symptoms.

not even a few days later i find out my dad "secretly" went to my brother's house for his grandson's birthday party (when we were explicitly told NOT to gather up), who usually invites a lot of guests. just... wow.
