EXCELLENT niko characterization in the first chapter of duskmourn. very promising

1) niko was still in the "fuck around and dont find out" stage of being a baby planeswalker before they desparked. mess up a social interaction? dont care. if it sucks, hit the bricks. introduce yourself to a powerful man by telling him his wife sucked them good and hard through their jorts. consequences? that shit dont real. i too would be devastated if the conses started quencing again

2) yelled at a girl whos, like, 8 years old and is just trying to help out of the goodness of her heart. this would be extremely out of character for a cat-loving and good-aligned pacifist, were it not for aminatou being a fateweaver. but she is, so niko's fists dropped the age rating to E for Everyone

3) is it tavern swindling if theyre just that good? idk if they care either way. the kind of person to shamelessly be dragged by the armpits out of a casino by bouncers
