You already know what I’m going to say about the dad, so I’m not going to even bother typing it out. Instead, let’s shift to oat.

Making a cocktail specifically for nene and earning herself a smile. A SMILE!!! WE SEE THOSE WALLS CRUMBLING! Bitter at the beginning but sweet at the end indeed! I did feel bad when nene came over and offered to buy kawi a drink with oat right there (rude) but then I was mad at oat for not speaking up when nene was all “fell in love with your ex? Then they’re no longer family! Consider them dead!” Yes, Oat did see them together and basically knew right away that they had feelings for each other(even while pam was dating kawi), but she also saw Raks break down and heard how much she cares for her brother. Know what I mean?

Poor poor kawi 😔. Relieved that he was able to keep it together when he talked with each of them after he saw them together and in the preview it seems like he’s ok when he confronts them. Going to get him and nene into some therapy asap.

I think that was all the nonpamrak stuff that happened.

From beginning to end they were just so fucking adorable that i thought my heart was going to burst. Rak trying to keep pam in bed as long as possible (can’t blame her), showing up first thing in the morning for “work-related reasons” (😉😉), holding hands and being all cute, the whole watermelon scene, GETTING ENGAGED!?, pam serenading rak, TEERAK 🫠🫠🫠🫠, and then ending with a shared shower. *dreamy sigh*

We (im)patiently waited for them to finally get together and today we were rewarded in tenfold.

i'm sorry anon, i know we have more pressing matters to talk about (like how adorable pamrak were this whole episode), but i gotta shit on the dad for a little bit for my own well being. WHAT A FANTASTIC PIECE OF SHIT!! i gotta give the credit when the credit is due, penkul (who plays the dad) is doing a phenomenal job being one if not the shittiest dad i've watched in recent time. not even may's dad inspired so much hatred in me like khem is doing. this man has no love for his family, he just loves the image of having a perfect one. and then nene thinking the worst way to make him suffer is by hurting his children, baby girl, love of oat's life, you will never be able to hurt his children more than he has hurt them himself. you dodged the biggest bullet by being ignored your whole life by this man, nene, you should be thankful!

anyway, to better things.

oat is so insightful, bc girl is out there flirting and makes a cocktail that is called SILVER LINING. FOR NENE. it's just like what i said above. you might think it was shitty to be the mistress' kid (it really actually sucks) but on the bright side, you didn't have to endure years direct physiological terror ☺️☺️(direct i say just bc by the preview, we know this man managed to make nene's life hell even if he wasn't present, talk about versatility). the thing about that scene at oat's bar (and that i've been trying to tell myself bc honestly, in my first watch, i was so pissed at nene for that) is that nene's intentions are to cause mayhem and hurt the siblings. i think that in her head, she believes that divided they'll be easier to conquer and atm, kawi really is the weakest link (tho i don't think she's expecting how dedicated these siblings are to each other). with how much they talked about kawi and oat's friendship, i did expect her to intervene or at least call nene out bc while what said is partially true and oat knows that, it wasn't the time to poke on the fresh wounds.

i didn't expect anything less of kawi tbh, even after nene's "advice", but as weeks passes, all i think is how much this man is bottling up and it won't take that long for him to spill. kawi is a ticking bomb and he won't get that therapy soon enough me thinks.

now to the actually good things!!

what have we been saying since ep 1?! PAMRAK ARE DISGUSTINGLY IN LOVE AND THEY SHOVE THAT IN OUR FACES THE DISRESPECT!!!! srly tho, we've said "pamrak are going to be so clingy and romantic and cute when they get together" and yet! YET! i wasn't prepared for how amazing they are as girlfriends. we gotta give it to emibonnie on this one, okay, and i say this as someone who has milklove as #1 gl pairing and as someone who'd very much like to be the third part of namtanfilm. from gmm (and honestly, of the gl couples i watch) they are the best at delivering casual intimacy (from the top of my head, the one other couple i think does this so good too is lingorm) and if you've seen the posts i make about bl, you'll know i'm a sucker for that. yes, show me casual touches, little kisses, sniffs, show me people being in love with other besides the grand gestures! i live for this kind of thing. the watermelon scene was genuinely one of my most expected scenes from the trailer and i loved it. the pecks and feeding each other and the kiss! i love how comfortable they are in each others' arms (me when?)

gotta talk about the confrontation scene real quick too, bc yes, pam hates rak's dad for her personal reasons, but i got the impression that whole time they were at the mansion, she was pissed at him in rak's behalf and i really liked that. idk if it's the girlfriend protecting girlfriend trope that always gets the best of me, but the way pam stood up for rak multiple times in that dinner was really important to me. i really liked how protective she was when rak needed (because after that, rak was like whatever i was living by myself already. anyway, can i get your last name? 😙😙)

about your outfits ask! yes! i think rak's graphic tees are to show how young and like easy going she is in contrast with how her family is all the time with the button shirts and linen pants. and i don't have an explanation to aot's outfits other than she looks hot af. i don't know if bar owners need to look that good, but jesus, that woman is breathtaking.
