ok upon reflection i think viserys is the character that's the most immediately gripping for me. first of all he LOOKS like he listens to dad rock so good job h&m department. he's woobifiable (the big stone king's landing(?) model he's carving..... we love a man with hobbies). most importantly he just committed the evilest thing that happened in the pilot. i can't wait for him to marry a teenager and then look pathetic and conflicted about it. what can i say i love a pervert with a victim mentality

#he's like. old posthumus. which is of course to say cym—#for legal reasons though i'm not in love with him i just think he's a good character #i dont really remember him having a personality in f&b but he's such an influential figure in the dance it adds a lot to give him depth #the fact that he really does NOT want to be in this story (which i think noah pointed out is the case for everyone)#like i doubt he's going to really acknowledge his own agency in marrying alicent.. he's like ho hum.. what choice do i have #which i think is such an interesting trait in a show/universe that's ostensibly about taking power by brute force #(i mean that's how got has been marketed not that that's really what's going on)#i dont think viserys wants to acknowledge he has power! daemon says he's weak but i think viserys WANTS to think he's weak #aemma's death was something that happened TO him not something he played a role in #(i guess she was going to die no matter what but he continued to try for an heir)#idk i love the flop boring targs they're so fun—viserys i and ii and jahaerys ii #jaehaerys i was like A Big Deal but he kinda counts by virtue of being a certified nice guy #anyway that's about all i can contribute to the discourse. love tha event love reading other people talk abt them #*RHAECENT not 'tha event'#hotd #my posts
