so i watched the bridgerton queen charlotte mini series and i think this one finally made me realise what bothers me about the bridgerton writing... there is so much tell, not show. like, i appreciate they're trying to make points about feminism and racism, but it's all so explicated and on the nose
#on the one hand i'm like okay you have good intentions and you want so say important things and you should continue that#but it's often communicated through some dialogue that sounds like a written think piece and seems awkard spoken aloud#while also being rather generalised and vague#idk i find it just completely lacks poignancy#bridgerton#queen charlotte

Hello, I recently came up with a new character who is kind of like a crossbreed between a human & monster. To make his backstory complete I need a name for an island where all other people like him (crossbreeds) were send. The only thing I can come up with is 'monster island' but I myself find that a bit lame. Could you possibly suggest me some other names for it? Thank you so much.
ahh im really sorry but im a bit stumped . if it works then maybe have it just be called “ The island “ ? like the poignancy in the lack of a name makes it more dramatic or smth jdkfs idk it seems like these people are separated from everyone else so im thinking hostility
