harpies in this world look more like birds with human faces, so being a half-harpy means she gets a human torso and legs

no arms though since she has wings, so she uses magic prosthetics for an 'angelic' silhouette for her idol gig

she's based on a japanese crane

outwardly friendly but is very single-minded and driven towards her goal

sketching out how i want to draw pdh aphmau and travis. more notes on their designs below.

looking at their canon outfits i immediately found something i didnt like. i dislike how the girls' uniform is lighter than the boys'.

i changed the girl uniform to have that same dark blue to unify the uniforms more. i understand that the girl uniform was going for that sailor uniform style but i personally dont enjoy how those look sooo

another thing i changed was getting rid of the badge thingy that travis had because idk what it was and why the girls didnt have it but i didnt like it lol. also i got changed a lot of the greys in the designs because i thought the blue from the tie/bow was underused.

gave aph some pops of purple because she is the✨✨protag✨✨ and deserves it. i interpreted her hair here as a bob cut because i think it looks cuter than mid-length hair. wasnt sure what the dots on her skirt were meant to show so i just didnt draw them.

i headcannon travis as mixed and whitepassing, taking more after his dad than his mom, but i might darken his skin further. also, looking at his minecraft model vs every other boy's model i noticed that his eyes are further down, giving him a cuter look. i interpreted that as him having more of a babyface so i made his eyes a bit bigger.

also i made sure that aph and travis were the same height because they small <3
