Not sure if you use any other social media to post/repost lunter content, but what's the safest social media in your experience for posting? Getting less likely to get harassed and hate comments i mean-
Twitter seems so fucking horrifying tbh, uncertain abt instagram and idk much abt tumblr since im not active much but i want to post my lunter art but im scared lmfao
Heck I'm even scared to reblog lunter content that isn't not even mine!
I've spent many years on Twitter, and I have to agree with your instincts; it IS pretty horrifing on there. It's very common for people to use the ship tags to vent about how much they hate that ship, and people will sometimes go out of their way to surf the tags just to find people to harass. It's also a pretty lousy app for art, in my opinion, because posts get buried so very fast and trying to surf the ship tags tends to give a LOT of irrelevent results. (I should also note, there is a lot of NSFW on Twitter, so that is a downside for folks wanting to avoid that.)
I don't know much about Instagram, but some of my Lunter artist friends prefer that site for art posting. They do sometimes get trolls, but my impression is that it's not nearly as bad as Twitter.
Honestly, though, from my experience, Tumblr is the best place. I have not received a single piece of harassment for my ship on Tumblr so far. (Not even anon hate!) Perhaps I've just been lucky, but I think it's more then that. Tumblr users tend to use tags a lot, and they tend to curate their experiences very heavily. They tend to make extensive blocklists so they can avoid ships they don't like, so you're less likely to see haters. And I tend to have a much, MUCH easier time finding content in the ship tags that is actually about the ship!
But, I don't blame you for feeling wary. I was terrified to post anything about this ship at first too (or even reblog). If it's too intimidating, you could always send me a message off anon and I will gladly give you an invite to the Lunter Discord server. That way, at least you can share your art among the server in a safe space with people you know will appreciate it. :)
