I'm with CA and I think we're in a house and she's doing something while chatting to me. Is she packing clothes??? IDK. She was saying how she's an active member of other chat groups, probably referring to the quietness of ours but I think it's also about how she participates in 3D and enjoys it.

Today and yesterday I had a dream I keep forgetting about, where I'm doing something and then I stop doing it, like a task.

My siblings and I have to get to some kind of meeting taking place in the city on 'George St' and we have to ride our bikes there. It feels like the evening. I have the maps on my phone up but also, there is a blue line showing the way on the ground which we simply have to follow. The streets are pretty tight and crowded and I feel uneasy about riding on the road. There is a lady who almost backs into me. I had to move backwards to avoid her because it seemed like she didn't notice me. Sometimes it got hard to ride the bikes, like they were old or there was a permanent resistant level on it. The blue line we were following was also making us cut through areas that aren't typical like back streets and such. One point we had to go through a school. I cross the road to get to it, hesitating a little. My siblings take my lead and we ride inside. Then my brother stops riding and gets off his bike because up ahead he says his friend, a girl. For some reason he is like 10 in this dream. Anyway, he embraces her because he hasn't seen her in a long time. I get off my bike too. I see a few makeshift stalls in the car spaces, like this is a stop area or something. There's a banh mi stall and something else.

i’m having a “not enough time or functioning brain in life to read all the things i want to read and reread” moment and it’s quite paralytic rather than jumpstarting

wish i had my old shakespeare anthologies with me here in wa but they’re in ca and i think they might actually belong to my parents anyway

there are at least a dozen books i want to order right now and literally like over 600 unread books on my reading list and a lot of unread books on my shelves that i already own

i don’t know i mean the last time i had this existential crisis type thing i read a bunch of books at once but also in 2019 i read 60 books and i wasn’t having a crisis so idk what’s better

i mean i’m unemployed because fuck covid layoffs so technically i should have a ton of time to read stuff but the problem isn’t the time it’s the “time” my stupid depressed adhd unmedicated brain deems clear enough for reading vs all the rest of the time which is muddled and muzzy and full of staring at stupid shit and taking in nothing

really i should just get some fucking adhd meds (also i need my eyes checked because haven’t done that in a long time and i can tell my right one is not 20/20 anymore) but going to a doctor in the middle of the pandemic for something that can wait seems a bit silly even if it’s real shitty in my brain

i could be writing all this in my notebook by hand but i type nearly as fast as i think and if i handwrote this that fast it would be even more illegible than it already is

but back to the crisis i don’t know i mean i just want to read all this stuff but also i want to start writing and working on art again and i took a break from my les mis collage for all of december and i should really get back to it because i’ve only done like 102 pieces i think. but like when you’re adhd you don’t have 24 hours in a day or 18 hours or whatever it is you either have like....4 hours or you have like 72 hours there is no in between you’re either barely able to work on anything or it’s like gogogogogo for a lot a long time in a row

maybe i’ll be back to gogogo when it’s not dark and fucking cold out it’s the one thing i don’t like about the pnw is how goddamn long the winters are although i’ve lived here 7 years now i should be used to it

and at the beginning of last year right before covid hit or maybe in december 2019 i developed an asthma-like thing which i think is maybe stress induced or something idk (another go to the doctor thing ugh) that gets worse on my period idk why but it’s like i can breathe fine when it’s normal breathing but half the time when i go in for a nice deep breath it’s like the back of my throat won’t open wide enough or my chest muscles won’t let my lungs expand to the bottom or something and my brain kind of feels like that asthma like i want it to work properly so badly i want to be able to read books all day i want to be able to do art and write and stuff all day but every time i try to take a deep breath with my brain it won’t go all the way so i end up just shalllow breathing just watching stupid shit on my laptop all day and reading fanfiction (which is not worse than fiction-fiction but it’s different) and scrolling tumblr-twitter-facebook-loop when all i want to do is take some nice deep brain breaths and read like 6 books in a row or write some poems or short stories or do some collage art or take my camera out somewhere or something

I hope you don’t mind that I did a head-canon set up for this one! I’m sorry it’s so short, it’s been awhile since I’ve written a Cassian imagine!

You were known as the Wild Child around the rebel base.

The nickname came from you being not only young, but also reckless.

You’d get into trouble on base.

Whether if it was pulling pranks to brighten the mood or sneaking extra rations, you always seemed to get in trouble.

You also take unneeded risks on simple missions.

Most of the time, the results of your missions were better than anyone expected. No one dared to tell you that though.

The Rebel Alliance leaders “can’t support such reckless and risky behavior in it’s ranks.”

But they never scolded you too harshly.

It was Cassian Andor, your boyfriend, that was the one yelling about it.

He was the perfect soldier in the eyes of the Rebellion.

Always followed orders

Never took unneeded risks or put his team in harm's way

He’s basically the polar opposite of you.

“Y/N! You could’ve gotten killed! What were you thinking?!”

He only yelled out of worry, most of the time.

“Easy Cassian, nothing bad happened.”

That’s how it went most of the time.

One time it went quite different though.

You disobeyed a direct order from Mon Mothma to try to save innocent lives of helpless villagers.

You ended up getting a little less of half of your team killed.

You were already upset when you arrived back on base, but as soon as you saw Cassian marching towards you, you started to cry.

You wouldn’t be able to handle it if he started to chew you out for being risky, pointing out your immense guilt.

Instead, he just wrapped his arms around you and let you cry into his shirt.

He walked you back to your shared quarters and laid in bed with you as long as he could.

“You scared me, Y/N. I wasn’t sure if you were going to come back to me this time.”

“I’m sorry, Cas.”

You’d never say anything along the lines of ‘I won’t do it again.’If you did, you’d both know it was a lie.

You’d do anything for the cause, even if that meant disobeying orders and breaking a few regulations.

“I love you Cassian.”

“I love you too, just try to be more cautious. Maybe listen to your orders sometimes, yeah?”

Eventually, he was called to a meeting and would have to leave you alone for a while.

“I’ll be back mi amor, just wait for me.”

So you did, and as soon as he returned you met him at the door.

You wrapped your arms around his waist, pressing your face into his shirt.

He knew that, despite your disregard for rules, you had your moments of weakness. You weren’t strong and independent all the time.

And for those times you needed him when you went too far, he was always there.

To be your shoulder to cry on, or to reason with the guards to let you out of the cell.

There were times, since both you and Cassian are so headstrong, that you both pushed each other to the limits.

You’d stomp off, or Cassian would walk away without a word.

Normally, depending on when the fight occurred, you and Cassian would be back in the other’s arms.

“I’m sorry,” he would whisper, pressing a comforting kiss into your hair.

“No, I’m sorry.”

“We are not fighting about this.”

You’d always be making fun of the way Cassian acts on a mission.

“That’s a dumb order Andor.”

“It’s Captain Andor right now Y/N.”

When you both were on missions together, it became apparent to the rest of the crew that half of them would follow what you said and the other would follow Cassian’s orders.

Somehow, despite the complex mission organization, the assignments shared by you and Cassian always ended well.

Just more proof to how good of a pairing you both are.

An Interview With Val From Sojii

In this digital age, there’s A LOT of fucking bands out there, and one of my favorite past times is sitting down with a good pair of headphones, and just digging through Bandcamp on the search for something new. On most occasions I find a few bands or artists who catch my attention for a few songs, but ultimately I loose interest or forget their names soon after closing out the app. Not Sojji though. The distinctive pig in a dunce cap album art work enticed me to click on their debut self tilted ep, and when the spastic energy of the beginning of “Milksop” gave way to a tight lead line, I was hooked. It wasn’t long after playing their ep back to back a few times that I liked the page, and hit Val up for an interview. 

1. To someone who has never heard Sojii, how would you describe your sound and the overall vibe of the band? Angular hard stool 2. Y’all have a very cool, trashy, some would say, “lo fi” aesthetic being presented through the sound of your music and the photos you post on the band page. Is that an artistic decision you made with intention, or just a reflection of your collective lifestyles? 

Well I think all the trashy photos are from me cos I'm a trashy person. Danny is more linear and Donny is a classy fuck. 

3. I know that you used to live in New York and that Sojii followed you when you moved to Grand Rapids. How did the band initially form and how did moving affect it?

Yeah. Well the band didn't only move. All the members have changed completely. It started because Anna, Raegan, and I went to the same school and we hated everyone and knew there was more somewhere out there in the deep smoggy sky. It has changed completely cos there are different people. For better or worse. I believe it's more of a fluid entity than a fixed image of identities.

4. What are your personal influences as not just a musician, but as a person? What are Sojii's collective influences?

My personal influences are industrial buildings and sites I saw [they] were so cold and forlorn and I wanted to take them home with me. Adrenaline too. I think our collective influence don't exclude md2020. Touring. Sodium. Ajvar, Alice, and Prudence.

5. Lyrically you have a very “stream of conscious flow” with some pretty dark and nihilistic subject matter being presented. How do you typically come up with your lyrics?

You just said it! It just cums.

6. I’ve really enjoyed the ambiguous nature of you lyricism and how many different meanings can be inferred from your lines. For example, off your latest single, “Junkmale”, you have the lines “Look outside the kitchen window/At the kingdom at my feet/I slain the fertile cesspit/Put my feelings at ice cold ease” followed by “if you wanted it/I don't/Kill that part anyway/If you needed it/I don't/kill that part anyway”. Would you care to dive into what you meant by this?

I don't remember exactly. It started as a concept Katie gave me for the music she wrote. Really It's about killing my ability to carry a child in order to live life as selfishly and opportunistically as I can. (Gender roles blahblablahblah)

7. You finished a tour last year with the noise duo An Atomic Whirl. How was that experience for you? Where there any memorable moments from your time with those goof balls?

Otherworldly. They're a couple of the craziest cats I've ever met. I wanna tour with them in Asia. Idk if this is trü but Kenji said he was gonna make his solo project into "Kenjii" cos of us. Haha. Also they're moving back!

8. Besides AAW, what are some other great bands you've had the pleasure to play with? So far what venues have you enjoyed the most?

9. With three tours under your belts, what have you learned since the first one? If you could give some advice to up and coming touring bands, what would it be?

Who I want to play music with. What is important to me. What really matters. Tell cunts not to bring fucking cheeze whiz cos it'll stain the fuck outta my '98 econoline carpet goddamnit.

10. What are your most memorable good/bad/weird moments from tour?

Good time was when these two kids followed us from west ma to another couple shows and brought us exciting party favors.

I wanna say no bad times on tour cos I love every bit but it throws me off when anyone is sad or upset. Tour 'sposed to be fun. I did end up in the ER in Connecticut because of aforementioned party favors. The cops took my knife away and never gave it back.

I believe that I am the weird moment because I can't think of anything weird.

11. When you first started the band, did you imagine things would turn out as they have? Now that you've made quite a bit of progress, where do you see Sojii in the future?

I like to embrace the now with eyes to the future. I don't know that I've made much progress, but I have a lot of wet dreams about Sojii. I want to do everything I can as long I let me.

12. I understand that y'all are working on recording more material. Would you like to fill us in on how that's going, and give us a hint as to how it will sound?

okay but in the last week my wind line up changed dramatically from

bc tia got a 5* uncap and i got valentine grimnir, and wind favored gw is like literally tomorrow,,

but honestly shit man valentine grimnir is like actually absolutely perfect for my specific set up. like i can see him being real low tier for certain set ups, especially early game. because you basically need a set up with some form of charge bar boost for him and frequent multi hit skill damage to speed up his cyclone lv gain (which tbh the 30 hit damage is only really going to happen when the boss is only one enemy which oops lol hl yggy, medusa (normal and hl), and baal are all not just one enemy but oh well). plus you want some form of damage cap, especially skill damage cap increase. i could probably have better skill damage cap increase (which is really what i should work on now), but as of now i do have sk lv15 qinglong spear malus, and 5* tia’s skill that boosts skill damage specs based on allies wind crests. what does suck is one once tia reaches 5 crests crippling storm becomes surpercell, which is great but it no longer gives wind crests to allies. HOWEVER BACK IN NOV I DREW ELIL, AND SHE CAN APPLY WIND CRESTS AND HAS A SUB AURA THAT BOOSTS WIND ATTACK BASED ON NUMBER OF CRESTS, SO DRAWING HER HAS FINALLY PAID OFF. Now unfortunately tia doesn’t have the most amazing multi attack, though i have 3 points in her em support skill that boosts her multi when not debuffed, and two in her trip, i also don’t really want to try and reroll her over mastery because she got 8% skill damage cap and 6% debuff resistance which both help even though they aren’t that high (and i’d rather try to reroll val grimnir bc he got da and that’s useless for him since he’s guaranteed to trip). Scathacha doesn’t have a multi at prob bc her sup skill boosts her multi when wind atk is applied (which is 100% uptime with her being lv 100), +5% trim from em and +12% double from over master (which also gave her a 12% skill damage cap) (AND I GAVE HER A WEDDING RING BECAUSE I LOVE HER AND WANTED TO RAISE HER DAMAGE CAP, I actually skill have one em star to fill, but bc it’s the last one it requires 28 points but im not 100% where i want to put it bc i have everything i wanted maxed taken, the 2 attack nodes, 2 def nodes, and 2 da nodes are all empty and the only ones left, i guess i could prob put it in da just bc soooometimes she does only attack once... but idk if maybe putting one in def or in just attack would be nice...). I don’t have too much problem Multi atk as Solider class with my class bonus of +10% trip, and +4% da and +2% da from master bonus and +5% trip in em (i didn’t bother putting any in da bc of bullet management, and once i could take bullet crafting off i put it into weapon spc damage bc my grid is still tia bolts and i’m using all 34 stars as of now bc atk, hp, def, skill damage, debuff success, ca I & II, total party hp, ta, damage cap, and one in skill damage II). But anyways, because I have the class champion weapon, John Doe, I don’t have to bother taking the reload skill because I reload on my ca. i take mis mist to hit def/atk down cap with tia, open fire & guerrilla tactics. now with guerrilla tactics when active if i dodge an attack i do 4 hit sup elemental damage to random foes (which helps val grimnir out) plus it boosts my chargebar gain, which when I wasn’t using tia in my part was necessary for starting the never need to reload cycle, since with the chargebar gain and then using open fire to fire all 6 of my bullets, it basically be like i just did two turns of trip attack (getting all the benefits of the bullets used) and gain an instant ca for the actual first turn of combat. then the second turn use the three round bust to use my three bullets and then be guaranteed to trip on the second turn of combat and get ca for third turn (but also ca doesn’t just reload my bullets it gives 30% charge bar boost so there’s no worry about making sure i have boosted charge bar to reach ca before using all my bullets for the rest of the fight, unless i get unlucky and a boss drains my charge bar, oh well). But the other important this I did to John Doe was the second skill i picked. Gunslinger’s Divinity. it’s basically a similar effect to guerrilla tactics, 4-hit sup elemental damage to random foes at the end of turn. except you don’t have to dodge, you just have to not take damage. both of these 4-hit superior elemental damage triggers also tend to be about 1 mill damage when triggered. but more importantly, when you’ve only got one boss enemy, with these it’s infinitely easier to hit damage one target 30 times to increase val grimnir’s cyclone lv. since his attack is 3-hit damage to random foes... 3 times... that guaranteed 9-hits. now idk how ca damage is counted since like if you don’t skip the animation it’s clearly multiple hits, but i do think it count’s because i’ve had his cyclone lv go up when the hits would not have added up to 30. though it also makes me wonder if poison damage counts as well, bc one of my parabellum bullets is poison (which i can always switch out to flame if i ever feel like it like bc maybe a boss is immune to poison but not burn). But anyways aside from the extra hit damage synergy, the other great synergy val grimnir has provided is his ougi buffs. bc man it might suck that his ougi does no damage, except it the buffs it provides are wonderful, yeah keen and the wind crit are obviously good, especially when you get holy rays of purification on the field and just goes into constant crit mode without even a single last storm harp in your grid. but the shield, yes only three turns, but with scathacha out on the field that isn’t just a shield it’s bonus wind damage for everyone... bonus wind damage for all 9 OF VALENTINE GRIMNIR’S HITS. bc each hit of the 3 hit damage count as separate damage instances and bonus damage, and supplemental damage apply to each one. and with 3 stars in his charge bar gain em node and tia’s 3 turn chargebar gain boost it makes up for his 35% slower charge bar gain, esp if he’s triple attacking every single damn turn. not to mention once you get holy rays of purification out, and you can just start focusing on building up 7 cyclone level’s for divine tempest, with the supplemental damage and skill damage cap increase i’ve got, the 20-hit, 150% wind damage with a cap of ~80,000 per hit becomes a damage cap of ~220,000 per hit and becomes a ~4.3 - 4.5 mil nuke that i can set up every ~4-5 turns (which can also make the debuffs indefinite if they land each time). and so that kinda makes up for his lack of ougi. he just needs times to set up and the right team. and one enemy bosses. like godsword alexiel, who i can almost solo now. (i can solo hl medusa no prob now, i’d done it before but it’s even easier now. baal is a bit of a problem child tho bc he’s special),,, wonder how he is for Gilgamesh, but i’ve only hosted the hl tier 3 summon raids like once for each bc i’m scared.

Being a 19 year old male who lives in London, insurance was clearly going to be a problem. I have however found some decent quotes which include having a tracker fitted. Now, I don't mind it too much but I do have some worries: a) The location/address: on the quote, I provided a relative's address which is outside of London (the address is about 40 to 50 minutes away from my actual address). Consequently, the price was cut by about half! The worry I have is that if I have a tracker installed, won't it be obvious to the insurer that this isn't my real home address when they see me parking and basically using my actual address instead of the relatives'?
