bg3 zarina had her full family but lost all of them to mind flayers before but survived in faerun and then settled in baldur's gate for decades if not a full century and a half, but then got snatched by the same mind flayers and she really felt like it was her fate (as much as she hates that word) to be killed by them but then... she didnt. she survived again. so that's one of the companion quests tav's gonna encounter and i'm thinking about more possibilities.

#❄ ― OUT OF CHARACTER. ╱ fun time’s passing by like river’s flow.#i'd say zarina was in the astral plane when he father passed away so she lived with her mother and brothers for a bit #before mind flayers attacked and her mother told them how to escape from astral plane #so their mother died to let the children escape #she and victor and aleksey traveled together in all different ways to get to faerun but #they got caught but only zarina was abl eot survive and lost her brothers to illithids #so she is about to use those tadpoles but not dive too deeply into them if she can use that power to overwhelm others? sure #but yeah im thinking about THE LORE behind zarina #idk how correct it is because idk dnd lore (and i should ask) but also yolo
