#kite rambles#coming up on the anniversary of the Bad Time™️ and feeling in general better but a bit hmmmm#nostalgic? idk I've been missing some aspects of teaching#and then hear from mom that sis is in the hospital again#idk how clear i was last year but one aspect of the Bad Time™️ was a surprise leukemia diagnosis for her#the acute kind where we were legitimately afraid she was going to die#and now almost exactly a year later she's back in the hospital#and I'm still the jackass that has still forgotten to call her for her summer birthday 😐#anyway i would appreciate it if this winter did not try to compete with last winter thanks
