More Nightsky Headcanons :) Mostly About Winona, Mikey, and Nikey.

Winona likes to call Mikey Sky-Boy in a taunt kind of way, but a “I love you, idiot” kind of way

Mikey is not good at hiding his emotions as I’ve discussed, so sometimes he’ll just look at Winona in like any formal-wear and he just “Uhhhh, uhhhh einwidheiwneieneie hi” and his face is like red as a tomato and Winona’s just like LMAO Arceus I fucking love you

FOREHEAD KISSES all the time, hand kisses, they’re very comfortable with moderate PDA, but they’re like all over eachother when they’re mostly alone. Constantly hugging, holding hands, you know the drill. They’re so fucking adorable

Mikey is pretty decent at flirting, but Winona is always on top of her game. Flirting between the two almost always starts with Mikey saying something pretty good, and then Winona just knocking him to the ground metaphorically with something he could’ve never even guessed, something that leaves him absolutely stunned in the best way possible. He wants to someday find something he can say that will make Winona feel the same way.

Also, the outside of Team Sky’s base is decked the fuck out with wind chimes of all kinds. The area it’s in gets a shit ton of wind, which has also resorted in the base being partly wind powered.

Nikey often finds himself holding his own hand when he’s alone just to have some sense of what he used to have with Winona

Despite him very much being cursed, people outside his close proximity only know it to be a rumour. He prefers to keep it that way and will very much dock the pay of anyone who is too persistent to know.

The skin around the cursed eye is like… really gross. Like Marvel’s Spider Man 2 Symbiote Suit gross. The green dot below the eye has the texture and material of marble. The red iris can burn through almost any fabrics aside from one, which is exactly what his eyepatch is made of. He is EXTREMELY insecure about how the skin around his eye is and if anybody brings it up, he will either A. Threaten to kill them. B. Hurt them physically. Or C. Just leave and then hide away from everything and everyone. Depends on his mood.

There was a point in time where he got deadly sick for like a week, almost died, and nobody knew because everyone assumed he was just self isolating again. He didn’t think of his sickness as much at first, just a small cold, he’ll just wait it out. But as it went on, and he began to feel worse, he began having intense physical symptoms, began to be unable to stand even with a cane. He began to rely on dry snacks in his house as he couldn’t do anything to cook for himself, which only worsened his condition as it was mostly unhealthy food. He was lucky he even had any water in his room in the first place, otherwise he surely would’ve been dead long before anyone found him.

He couldn’t call for help either. His voice was too quiet and hoarse to call out for the bodyguards standing guard right outside his house. He began to experience extreme delirium and even when he was breaking things inside his house in an attempt to call attention to someone, anyone- to help him. The guards just assumed he was having another episode. Constant burning inside his body, jolts of pain coarse go through his body like lightning any time he moved. He couldn’t sleep either, which only worsened his delirium and caused more intense hallucinations. Hallucinations of people he loved, people he lost, whether by death or otherwise. Hallucinations of people he killed.

It wasn’t until he crawled to his front door, scratching and clawing, unable to stand up to reach all the locks he had brandished on the entrance to his house, that someone finally opened the door and saw the horrible state he was in. His hair was a mess, his skin was dirty, he was barely clothed, and his eyepatch was missing. He began to be treated on sight by his personal doctor, who was called for an emergency to his house. But his condition was far too severe for that to suffice. He was taken to the nearest hospital and put into emergency treatment.

Turns out, the reason he had fallen so deathly ill was due to a deadly poison known as “Parasect G” which is known to kill any recipient within the next 24 hours after consumption. The doctors said it was a miracle Nikey had even survived for as long as he did, especially with how he was handling it. The doctors also found that his body had been suffering from long term and deadly amounts of intense stress. They ended up keeping him in the hospital for months to get his body to be even remotely healthy.

Nikey hadn’t realised just how exhausted and in pain he’d been for the past 5 years. And when he found himself alone in his hospital room, all he could do was cry. He’d been so… tired. All this time he was so tired- and now he was feeling it, all at once. He just wanted to curl into a ball and dissipate into pure light. All he could do now… was make the most of his hospital-ridden state, and just take the time to just… rest. Weeks after recovery, Nikey found himself vaguely wishing that it had taken him out. Or that he could atleast be that close to the brink again, because atleast then, he could be taken to the hospital again, and have time to breathe again. He has a purpose, he’s the ruler of the world, and yet… he feels so lost. Like he’s waiting for something that’ll never come, that he doesn’t even know what it is. But he’s holding out for something.

And he will get that something. Whatever it may be.

I will always be a Ninerose bitch, but I do LOVE how, like, solidified Tenrose’s team dynamic is by the time of their run? Like in season 1 they were getting to know each other, Rose was figuring out how this all worked, ect ect. But by like, The Idiot’s Lantern? They are a well oiled machine and I LOVE seeing them in action!! They have that shit down! I wanna be their friend! (this is why I actually rlly like The Long Game.. the Ninerose team dynamic in that ep is just 🤌🤌)

Oh my GOD that scene in the idiot’s lantern??? The SCENE? Where they pull faceless Rose in and Ten sees her and gets all quiet and deadly? CHILLS. I LOVE IT. hi! first off i love your next gen fic and i'm OBSESSED with it! i was wondering if you could talk more about wyatt, chris, and melinda as characters and their relationships with each other? thanks!!

aaaa tysm! & i’d love to talk about wyatt chris & melinda bc i feel like that’s one of the most hmm what am i trying to say here it’s like we know chris and then we mostly know wyatt and we can infer how they interact together but then we know nothing about melinda in canon and how this third puzzle piece fits in to the rest of the equation and just sorta what they’re all like i also really like writing wyatt chris and melinda just bc they’re sorta like the most spread out i think they’re sorta the most “normal” pair of siblings like they’re scattered across northern california doing their own thing and they only interact with each other mostly a normal sibling amount as opposed to the cupitches who all live together and attend high school together and do basically everything together and the mitchell clan which has a psychic link between the twins and also henry and tam still live at home so like i feel like with wyatt chris melinda there’s sort of the most room for like. a subtler sibling relationship. like you don’t need to know all the details and the ins and outs the way you would with like phoebe’s kids because while phoebe’s kids are very much like a power of three wyatt chris and melinda are more of just three of their own people like if they discover some villain odds are they’ll do it themselves or with their own little team as opposed to about any other member of the family who, if they find evil, will almost immediately drag their siblings in. i also think wyatt chris and melinda is the sibling dynamic most rooted in like my own personal experiences bc like. idk it just is.

but let’s talk! so i’ve talked before about w/c/m and magic and wyatt & melinda’s relationships with piper and i think that’s just sorta a good jumping off point on how i view these characters bc like i know we know chris the most but it’s also p obvious that he’s the black sheep of the family so his personality doesn’t really work as a baseline for a child of piper and leo so instead i used my little noggin to think like hmm what do we know about piper and leo and what can we infer about how they raised their kids and we know that like they’re domestic like they’re such softies they’re such saps so like family dinners? big thing. i think that they would always make a conscious effort to like eat dinner together as a family every night, but then during that era when piper was just opening her restaurant (which by the way: let’s talk. formal? casual? california cuisine? italian? white glove? three dollar signs on google? do u need a reservation? What Is The Vibe. also the name halliwells. thots? i think that’s only a good restaurant name if it’s a hella kicked back place i think if it’s trying to be formal the name should be different feel free 2 share ur opinions.) like she’s working through y’know dinner bc that’s how restaurants work so she couldn’t really be home for family dinners so family breakfasts sorta became the new thing and since piper was always like bone tired the next morning it would be leo trying to make breakfast and then wyatt and chris would try to take up the mantle and then finally melinda when she was old enough and she was like the only one who was actually really good at it. i also think holidays are really big for the halliwells namely thanksgiving i have a personal headcanon that piper hosts this really big thanksgiving feast at magic school bc y'know it's like her family's p ingrained into magic school as a whole already it's implied in canon that leo teaches there i personally headcanon one of paige's jobs as finding witches and registering them at magic school, and helping with accommodations like there are dorms at magic school and all that especially bc uh the rate of orphan students is really much higher there than the average so like they really wanna make everyone there feel like family so like piper preps all this food at her restaurant and melinda helps with the cooking and wyatt gets really in to like decorating the main hall and all that chris not so much and he'll like grumble but he still tags along and helps out bc it's just like. fun to spend time with his family and all that thanksgiving is like arguably bigger than christmas in the halliwell household so basically what im getting at is there's this string communal bond there's this solid feeling of love and family that just definitely permeates thier lives like wyatt chris and melinda definitely have that sibling bind that gives them a strong power of three

but now that i've given two thicc paragraphs of preamble now ig it's time to actually talk about the sibling dynamic chris is the middle child which usually implies the role of the peacekeeper but we all know chris and we all know that's not happening he's definitely the most surly if anyone's playing the role of peacekeeper it's gonna be the empath i.e. melinda but like even then she's not so much about uhh keeping the peace as she is resolving the issue y'know i think outside of the home she seems like a really passive person someone who doesn't like making waves or creating unnecessary conflict but inside the home like she's grown up with these two assholes her entire life if someone's being a dick she's gonna tell it to their face she knows her brothers and as an empath she knows when it's time to you know just treat someone kindly and support them and she knows when it's time to go howsabout u pull ur head out of ur own ass and understand that there are bigger things at play here than just u moping around. i think that without melinda chris and wyatt would have just a lot more strained of a relationship due to well y'know everything but melinda doesn't let that shit slide and will set wyatt straight just as much as she does chris bc again she's an empath and she's very whitelighter-y she gets what needs to be said and without her i think something p unhealthy would grow in the space between wyatt and chris bc they’re just so different. like wyatt has immense power and like doesn’t care about he doesn’t really like Want it whereas chris would fuckin love not to be second place he’d love not to be viewed as the weak one and without a middleman like melinda i think the two would just have like. a really fucked up relationship. that and like melinda’s like an empath so you really don’t get to say whatever it doesn’t matter and leave an argument bc melinda’s already got a reading on you she can tell just how much you do care and she will try to resolve this on ur behalf w/o u there so if u want to prevent the misconstruing of words or the revealing of something too personal u gotta stay and u gotta work things out til there’s no bad blood.

i don’t think either one pair is closer than the others i think each sibling goes to another for very specific things like how you wouldn’t go to chris for advice on how to ask out ur crush just like you wouldn’t go to melinda for advice on how to sneak into the underworld w/o dad knowing i think the three of them all really have a symbiotic relationship where there’s not just one who falls behind or slips through the cracks. that being said, unlike with any other pairs of siblings (t/k/h and p/p/p) i don’t think any of their social circles overlap. like melinda’s friends and wyatt’s friends and chris’s friends are all three circles that do not touch. and i think that it honestly sorta helps their sibling dynamic bc it’s very much siblings in small doses; i think if they had constant exposure to one another their dynamic would not be what it is. oh also i think when they all hang out together their idiot quotient goes up like 250% like individually they’re all like small and detail oriented and what not and for some reason when they all hang out together they’re just fuckin stoopid

Favorite character: Garak.  Predictable, but man I love that disaster lizard.

Least Favorite character: Probably Kai Winn.  Dukat is awful, but at least I find my fun to watch, lol.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Garak/Bashir is my number one by a long shot, following that in no particular order: Odo/Quark, Jake/Ziyal, Odo/Kira (I coulda done without it, but I honestly think they did their romance about as well as they could have) and Rom/Leeta.

Character I find most attractive: This is a tough one.  Bashir maybe?  Or Kira.  Idk, I’m not really “into” any of the characters like that, lol.    

Character I would marry: Bashir.  Well, season 7 Bashir anyway.  He would make the best husband :-P

Character I would be best friends with: my real life best friend probably most resembles Kira so, let’s go with that :-P

a random thought: Man, Enabran Tain was a shitty dad.  

An unpopular opinion: I kind of hate mirror verse :-(

character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Hmm.  Jadzia.  I just think they could have done a lot more with her. There was so much intersting stuff that could have been explored with the symbiote, particularly in terms of gender and sexuality, but they were too preoccupied with make her the “cool hot girl” most of the time.

favourite friendship: Garak and Odo.  I’m not sure you could call it a “friendship” exactly, but they come to an understanding that I think is really interesting for such contrasting characters.  

character I want to adopt or be adopted by: Sisko is the best dad :-D

002 | Ship:  They asked for Garashir and Hannigram, so here goes!

when of if I started shipping it. Hannigram: when I first watched WotL.  Garshir: ...pretty much from the first time Garak appeared on screen, lol.  

my thoughts: idk, right now I’m kinda distracted by how Hannigram is kindof a way more fucked up version of Garashir, lol.

What makes me happy about them: Hannigram: IT’S JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Garashir: How these two idiots are just so in love :-D

What makes me sad about them: Hannigram: That I’m pretty sure there is no real happy ending for them.  Garashir: that they are such idiots who can’t seem to realize how in love they both are :-(

things done in fanfic that annoys me: I try not to complain about fanfic, but since this is a questions asked...Hannigram: I’m actually not a fan of “straight Will is wierded out by sex with a dude.”  I’ve seen it done well, but to me it doesn’t jive with the character.  Garashir: I get why it’s tempting, and I kind of do it too, but it kinda bugs me when authors use Garak and/or Bashir to complain about what they don’t like about famous works of literature.  I am aware this is a very specific pet peeve, lol.   

things I look for in fanfic: ...BDSM.  For both.  I’m a kinky fuck.  

My kinks: Oh, TOO MANY TO LIST.  I’ll try to pick only one per ship that is actually for reasons that are somewhat specific to them.  Let’s see.  Hannigram: puppy play, with Hannibal as Will’s puppy.  Garashir: Dom!Bashir, specifically in Bashir being surprisingly imposing AND nurturing and Garak being WAY into it. 

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: UGH, NO, I CAN’T!  Okay, okay, let’s see...Garak/Parmak isn’t terrible.  I can kind of get with Will going back to Molly.  Hannibal/Bedelia is okay.  Bashir...hmm.  Oh!  Maybe Data?  Idk, I don’t like this question, lol.  

My happily ever after for them: Garashir: easy.  Living on Cardassia with a dozen Cardassian orphans.  Hannigram:  I guess evading the law forever while occasionally murdering people?  Idk. Maybe their happily ever after is just admitting to themselves how much they love each other and then being okay with whatever happens after that, even if it’s objectively terrible.   

003 | Character: Julian Bashir

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Garak.  That’s it.  That’s all of them.  

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Bashir/O’Brien is my ultimate BroTP for him.  

My unpopular opinion about this character: Not sure if this qualifies, but I wish he’d been gay on the show.  Not bi, gay.  So there’d have been no Jadzia crush, no weird Leeta thing, no Ezri endgame, and all of his guest star love interests like his ballet dance ex-fiance would have been men.  I don’t really have a reason, other than just that I hate his romance stuff with Jadzia, Leeta and Ezri and would happily have him be gay so that they never happened.    

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Um, admitting his feelings for Garak?  Haha, no but seriously, I do wish he’d gone to Cardassia at the end of the show to help.  It would have been a natural conclusion for his character.  

my het ship: if he must be with a woman, I kind of liked alien who couldn’t walk in gravity.  

my fem/slash ship: Garashir, all the way.  

my OTP: ...Still Garashir.  I may not be undestanding these questions.
