i prefer my idea of him as a more caring leader. he's still a total fuck-up but he does care about his friends.

the entire legion is pretty much the best when you consider that they are teenagers. they didn't even want to be killers. everything they do is teenage bullshit bc they're bored and Canadian and it's the 90s.

i would mega dislike him irl and if julie was my best friend i would tell her that he ain't shit. but i love him as a character who causes Problems.

i got the vibe from their old tapes that Julie was actually the nice one and Susie was the secret brat. Sadge that bhvr is going the other way. I don't like girlboss Julie.

the fact that Julie is so self-involved with her romance with Frank that she's pretty oblivious to Susie and Joey's problems at home would make me dislike her irl but I love it for her as a character. toxic teenaged romance ftw.
