okay but i 100% agree with you. idk how you feel about him, but fus/himi is my least favorite character in this entire franchise (and this is coming from someone who usually loves dark haired assholes). He is one of the few characters i actually have a few things in common with (i.e. fucked up family dynamics, introvert who has trouble opening up to ppl, struggle in group settings, etc.), but im always ranging from strongly disliking or being neutral to him at best.

i think what i really cant stand about his character is that he is extremely woobified (by fans and within the show itself), and gets away with a lot of shit. like i love complicated and fucked up characters as much as the next guy, but shit man, i get why those stan twitter girlies pull the whole “but if this was a woman” card cause I seriously dont believe he would be as popular if he was a female character. fans would hate on him being a cold hearted bitch who’s obsessed with ya/ta and all that bullshit

Are you named after anyone. I'd say there are 3 answers. Legal name I will change: Yes Real name I use today: Depends. It's a noun that I would describe myself, but in a different language. Also turns out, I learned about a year after I got the name, that the word comes from the name of a spirit! Persona's name: A grandmother's dog (she's a sweetheart)

When was the last time you cried. The last time I actually cried was during a meltdown. The last time I almost cried was when another close friend said he would block me if I sent him a clip of Toad's voice, and because he said that I had a shutdown (he knew what he did was wrong though, and luckily, we made up).

Do you have kids? My sona does (in reality they're my Gengar plushies), but irl, no. I don't plan to have coitus with anyone else in any way, shape or form. (Adopting or fostering kids though, I would say otherwise).

Lycoris Recoil. - a lot of you could argue on how this one is not GAY but i could spend two days defending its gayness and no one will convince me otherwise. there's a reason why Chisato and Takina have become one of the favorite couples of the last years as long as they appeared and with only one season. this one is full of comedy, girl assasins, inmaculate action, beautiful animation and ITS GAY! lmao istg

16. Mobile Suit Gundam: the Witch from Mercury. - when ppl say its Utena in space is bc thats exactly what it is lol. this past season has brought a lot of good entries but this one is the jewel of the crown OO jesuschrist. Gundam is a franchise with more than 30 years of history and for the first time a female protagonist and also the whole argument revolving a gay love story. as a longtime Gundam fan myself saying that i was excited af is an understatement. on top of that the story is SO FUCKING GOOD! the animation, its dark undertones, THE GAY, like holy fuck. and this is only season 1 of what is gonna be IMO the best anime of the season and all the seasons to come.

17. The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady. - another gay isekai bc thats like the new normal lmao. this one just started airing but its so good lmao purely gay and funny af. go watch it right now! i have read the manga and the novels and you won't be disappointed. lol very worth it!

Im in love with the Villainess. - another gay isekai cause dreams do come true sometimes!. girl dies and its reincarnated on her favorite dating game but she doesn't want any of the male love interest, her gay ass wants the villainess lmao. idk how far the anime is going with the story but i've read the novels and it ends SO GOOD! (airing summer 2023)

Crowfeather sucks like on a whole other level oh my god his angst is boring and contrived, they killed off Feathertail to justify his shitty angst, and his ""romance"" with Leafpool sucks if you read it straight. Then we spend an entire arc watching him be a shit father, be a shitty ex to Leafpool, and be a shitty husband to Nightcloud only for the books to turn around and say nope! it's the woman's fault not the shitty dad! Crowfeather's trial further cements what a fucking shit character he is by having his development come from his dead mommy having to come down and tell him to make an effort. There's something so infuriating about him being promoted to Deputy while Leafpool went on trial for doing what was asked of her. I hope he dies!

Bramblestar is pretty obvious, he does shitty things and the narrative rewards him. He's allowed to be controlling, abusive, corrupt, distant, and cruel because the author's like him. It sucks! Hope he dies!

Clear Sky and Gray Wing are irritating protagonists and i do not understand why people tote them around as "complex characters." Clear Sky's motivations are weak, cliche, and nothing new to the franchise and his half-hearted redemption only for him to slip back to being a dick whenever the books call for it makes me wish they just stuck to him being a major antagonist. Gray Wing is shitty to those around him, rarely takes action against his brother, and all around sucks. dotc sucks, thank you.

Sandgorse is a shitty dad who, for some reason, gets to be honorable after death?? because he saved someone???? remember! icing out your kid for not doing everything you want and expect of them regardless of their own personal desires is okay if you dont leave someone to die! idk, i just can't help but compare him and Rainflower, like one is played straight as an antagonist/generally shitty parent (not arguing otherwise) while the other is shitty but it never gets called into question.

Nightheart's writing relies entirely on you closing your eyes to everything pertaining his arc. It's weak, shitty writing and his character shows off just how little the Erin's give a fuck about tackling the sexism within the text. His motivations are weak, his "conflict" relies on others being written completely out of character to work, and he has to change entirely when around Sunbeam lest the Erin's actually have to work to make a relationship actually work.

for other characters that i dont like but don't nearly have as much uhh anger towards thistleclaw for not being more interesting, rowanstar for not being russetfur, lionblaze for sure he's continuously violent and aggressive towards others without actual consequences, aannnd (if my oots doesnt go well) maybe ivypool

i think maybe the first important thing to say is. i don’t like h*ccstrid. i don’t like it’s narrative, i don’t like the way astrid’s used as a plot device and this meta outside of the ships is important. fact: astrid was written as a love interest. fact: this is integral to how she’s treated and her change of characterisation. i don’t know what your thoughts of that is, but if you’re with like 97% of this fandom on it, then. maybe that’s what you’re having trouble with? i have many many many issues with the way astrid is treated in this franchise and foremost with any ship i have with her, she needs to stand up as a character on her own. 

(i feel this way about ALL characters. they should stand up on their own without a relationship. ESPECIALLY for women. their characterisation SHOULDN’T be revolving around a man, and ba ba, h*ccstrid fails cause it’s all about hiccup. the hiccup show.)

astrid’s character is built around what hiccup needs in the plot and that’s that. i don’t like that. i don’t like “oh also now she’s a supportive gf and jsut like. is incapable at all the stuff she was training for her whole life uwu” and ppl out here like. wow. that’s growth!! Nah man. that’s a manic pixie dream viking with the personality of soggy bread masquerading as my mean, steady, sure of herself gal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what i want: astrid to be a person outside of a relationship. i want flaws, and i want humanity and i want to start with something new and not fix something broken. 

the point IS and i am running out of steam bc i am exhausted and i have been for literal days and i need to go to bed!!!!!! but. in tuffstrid, these two get to be individual characters. themselves first, and then we get the relationship.

astrid is steady, and sure of herself and kind of a major stick in the mud and tuff is a loveable goofball who slacks off, and astrid needs some of that crazy to let go and be fun and actually have that character growth and tuff needs rountine and structure. they balance each other out.

Okay. I’ve allowed a night to let everything sink in. I’m ready to talk about Endgame now.

so the wounds are still fresh. v v v v v v v v v fresh. but my thoughts during the entire movie were just OMG IM TRYING TO REMEMBER EVERY SINGLE THING THAT IS HAPPENING SO I CAN REMEMBER IT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE BEFORE i inevitably go see this movie again

now, I’m gonna try and break this up to be as organized as possible into 4 main sections which will be general thoughts, the highs, the lows, and closing thoughts. that may sound organized but I promise it won’t be and as always I’ll have to use bullet holes to even stay relatively "organized"

I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out that I either loved or would wanna discuss but tbh the ENTIRE FILM i was just like GOD I WANNA REMEMBER THIS FOREVER!! Every scene that happened i was like god there's still 3 hours of stuff that's going to happen but I want to remember it all!!!

Overall

this movie was good. and i’m mad it was so good and i found it so enjoyable for how dirty they did me. The pacing was pretty well done for a first viewing, but I'm sure after a couple rewatches I'll get caught up on the occasional misstep in the pacing and general direction the story took, but I really liked it!!

I thought the Thor stuff was kinda distasteful and honestly a joke that ran too long. Like ha ha okay we get it but also? He went through so much fucking trauma can we just lay off him? Damn? I don't wanna linger too much on it bc honestly the more I think about it the more I get upset the russos did him dirty

all the callbacks??? made me so emotional????? eleven years and almost two dozen films guys holy fucking shit it felt like such a good homage to bring stuff back

We didn't get as much Nebula and Tony content as I was hoping but god it was so cute and tender in the beginning. Imagine all that bonding. Nebula finding tony on the floor, knowing he's on the brink of death, and propping him up in the seat :'(((( tony helping fix nebula :(((( the father daughter relationship we deserved and didn't get to see come to fruition.

And now a pOSSIBLY CONTROVERSIAL~~ opinion but..... I loved Steve's ending. I really did. I thought he got a beautiful and fitting ending and I was so happy. It meant so much especially to hear his reasonging being that in a way, he did it for Tony. He was inspired by what Tony told him. He saw Tony get his happy ending and for so many films now Steve has been searching for that and he missed an entire life. Tony helped him realize that. It just made me!! So emo!! Like Bucky's face when he knew Steve wasn't gonna be coming back. Steve's last convo w/ Sam. It was just amazing. I can't believe I'm seeing hot takes from people calling Steve selfish or blaming the fact that the Russos have a boner for Steggy or whatever. Who cares!!! Steve got his happy ending and it was well deserved and a wonderful arc!! Lay off him bc you ship him w/ Bucky or tony more damn!!!! (Idk about the timeline y'all dont come for me i really have no idea i think the Russos just said fuck it for that one even when talking about not fucking up the timeline)

Natasha deserved better. She did. I understand why they took her character arc the way that they did, and honestly, this is the first time I've felt we've seen Natasha have even a modicum of actual character traits since like, Iron man 2 and Avengers 1. She found purpose in keeping the family together and trying to help the people left living, while never stopping or losing contact with anyone else in their endeavors to fix what Thanos broke. As tired as I am of seeing a female character die for ~man pain~ this felt like so much more than that. In the end Nat wanted to sacrifice herself for the greater good, and that's what she did. I'm still fucking upset though, even though they've butchered her character across almost all the films she's been in

Thor being turned into an entire fucking joke. That's it. I got nothin left for the writers at this point.

So..... let's talk about Tony's death, shall we

"You can rest now" broke me. It truly did. I've never loved any fictional character across any medium as much as I have loved Tony Stark. But Pepper's line at the beginning "you'll sleep, but will you rest?" Is so fucking telling. I think I immediately knew for sure in that moment. Because she's right. And that's the worst part.

Peter :)))) finally :)))) calling :))))) tony :)))) by :)) his :)))) first :)) name :))) as he was dying :)))) asking him not to go the same way he told tony he didn't want to go when he was getting dusted GOD. AND WE THOUGHT THAT SCENE IN INFINITY WAR WAS ROUGH. HAD N O T H I N G ON THIS.

That funeral scene.... seeing everyone there drawn together..... god. It was beautiful. It really was.

Of course I'm not happy. I'm extremely fucking upset. I knew tony wielding the gauntlet would be coming, but I thought they would find a way for him to make it out alive. As soon as they were showing that even the hulk couldn't handle it with the gamma radiation, I knew the nail was going to be in the coffin.

All that aside... what I can say, is that if they HAD to kill him off, I think it was a proper send off. We saw so many arcs of Tony's come to a close, and I knew it was just a matter of time. Also that being said, I really don't believe in death being necessary to end a character's arc. Yeah yeah blah blah we get the sad and tragic but TRUE message that at the end of the day death is inevitable and that tony had to sacrifice himself for the greater good. He and Strange both knew it, and as soon as Strange held up that finger I knew that was it for him.

It wouldn't be so hard if they hadn't given us everything they did with tony after the 5 year jump. He healed. He was HAPPY. But pepper was right, and as long as Tony was alive... he would never truly /rest/. And that's the only way I'm able to make peace with this death. Tony has always been a character who was just going going going, never going to stop even if it killed him, all to protect the ones he loved, and protect the whole world and make it a better place. He had a beautiful story that was told so well over these past eleven years, with admitted shortcomings here and there. He had the most cohesive trilogy films, the best character development and arcs, and an incredible portrayal. I'm grateful for it, but that doesn't make it any easier that they decided to go and show us that Tony was able to FINALLY settle down with Pepper and see him find the best version of himself as a husband to her and a father to his little baby girl. A baby girl that now has to grow up without her dad, and pepper has to go on without her husband, the love of her life. It's fucking tragic and honestly, we didn't need that imho lmao

The hardest parts is that like.... idk. I feel like the only reason they killed him is for shock factor, but somehow without the shock? A lot of us felt or were worried that this was coming. I think the russos and co. We're just totally set on the idea that like... tony HAD to die and that was the only way for this arc to come to a close not just WITHIN the universe, but meta, outside of the MCU as well. They did the same thing with Hugh jackman as Logan and that shit HURTED me y'all. Eleven years we had RDJ give us this amazing character and he is the SOLE reason the MCU is where it is today. So you know what, the Russo's and everyone can circle jerk about how much ~poetic justice~ there is in this ending for Tony, but at the end of the day... it just ain't it fam.

Realistically I know after wielding the infinity stones there is no way Tony, a human, could've survived, even with his armor on. I knew that. And as biased as I am towards seeing Tony living, if he had wielded the stones and NOT died? It would've felt cheap. So again, if they had to end his life, I appreciate the way they did it and thought it was the best send off they could've given him. I also would've appreciated some kind of alternate option where oh i dont know carol or someone strong enough could've handled the snap and tony could live the rest of his days with his wife and daughter and found family but..... ig that's just me huh.

And last thought is that I fucking cried AGAIN because the biggest applause moment was during the credits when RDJ's name appeared. My theater gave a standing damn ovation. Also the very last sound after it faded to black... Tony hammering away, building the very first Iron Man suit.... that shit hurted.

so theres a buncha keyblade masters called foretellers and theyre all runnin round like headless chickens cause their master disappeared and nobodys telling each other anything so they all start fightin (except this one guy luxu voiced by max mittleman, he grabbed a box and high tailed it outta there) and then it sparks a keyblade war for all the light in kingdom hearts i think ??? and then i legit forget what happens from here because i hate ux with every fiber of my being but it made this cool place called a keyblade graveyard, its pretty dope.

fast forward 1000 years and we got the cool wayfinder trio all living in land of departure about to take their mark of mastery except terra doesnt pass because Mark Hamil Said Darkness Sucks. also we meet this old guy Xehanort he kinda sucks a lot. theres these enemies called unversed rolling around and mark hamil tells aqua and terra to go stop them but ventus said HEY IM COMING TO and ran after terra so aquas left to be the mom to bring them both home idk and its revealed ventus is made of pure light and xehanort literally split the darkness form his heart and it made vanitas-- hes responsible for all the unversed, he sucks, we dont like him but we love him-- in an effort to forge this thing called the X-Blade (PRONOUNCED LIKE KEY BLADE I HATE THIS SERIES) that will open the door to kingdom hearts, and the x-blade can only be made when pure light and darkness clash, and like... restart the keyblade war and bring about balance?? idk. And xehanort wants to live long enough to see this happen so he literally possesses terras body. Cool! Just what the poor guy needed. Ven and vanitas fight and ven sacrifices himself so he goes to take a Very Long Nap and vanitas just dies like the bitch he is. But ven’s heart finds his way to baby 5yo sora who decides HEY ILL HOARD YOU IN MY HEART FOR THE NEXT 11 YEARS and thats why roxas looks like ventus. Aqua yeets him in the land of departure and then like..locks the world up and it turns into castle oblivion.  meanwhile terra and aqua punch each other and terras about to fall into a darkness pit but aqua sacrifces heself to get him out and so she ends up trapped there for 11 years and terra??is now terranort and has amnesia and this old dude Ansem The Wise finds him and adopts him and an apprentice. yeah. bet he wont regret that decision ; )

10 years later kh1 happens and sora and riku and kairi are chilling on destiny islands until it explodes and riku fucks off to the darkness and kairi fucks off to soras hearts -- i hope she said hi to ventus in there-- and sora ends up in traverse town where he meets donald and goofy. YOU SEE king mickey of disney castle also fucked off because worlds are disappearing to darkness and he left donald and goofy a note to go find The Key cause thatll help. so they do and they journey around with sora and become good buddies i love the trinity trio so much. eventually they meet riku at hollow bastion again and hes been posssessed by this dude Ansem whos not Ansem the Wise but is actually Xehanort’s Heartless (i hate this fucking series) and they find kairis comatose body chillin in the corner and they have a fight scene thats engraved in the memory of Everyone whos ever played PS2 KH1 KAIRI! KAIRI! OPEN YOUR EYES! ITS NO USE. THAT GIRL HAS LOST HER HEART. SHE CANNOT WAKE UP. oh my god why didnt they add a skip scene button. anyway they punch the possession outta riku and sora stabs himself with the keyblade to release kairis heart BUT it also releases his own heart which created his nobody, Roxas, who got vens heart???who thats why he looks like ven?? and it created namine who is kairis nobody because??i honestly forget i hate this goddamn series. anyway soras a heartless for a few minutes but kairi got her heart and life back and wanted to get some sweet sweet screentime and so she saved sora and restored him Thank you kairi. so sora dumps kairi off at traverse town and goes to give Ansem / Xehanort’s Heartless a good ol ass whopping ad they win and restore the worlds but kairi and sora are separated again I’LL COME BACK TO YOU, I PROMISE! I KNOW YOU WILL! WHEN YOU WALK AWAY YOU DONT HEAR ME SAY PLEAAAAAAASE OH BABYYY DONT GO oh also riku and king mickey and sora closed the door to kingdom hearts and trapped riku and mickey in the realm of darkness, that was a thing.

and then chain of memories happened. theyre in castle oblivion!!! whoa!! we meet the organization for the first time! whoa!!! we meet namine!! whoa!!! so like namine has sora-memory powers and can tinker with his memories and the memories of everyone hes connected to (AND HOLY FUCK IS THAT BOY CONNECTED TO A LOTTA PEOPLE NAMINE IS VERY POWERFUL) and the organization is making namine rewrite soras memories as he progresses throuhg castle oblivion to turn him into marluxias pawn so he cna use sora to like..overhtrow the organization, i think?? i hate this seriees. but it all works out in the end except soras memories are so scrambled he decides to sleep for a year to get all the right ones back. MEANWHILE RIKUS IN THE BASEMENT OF CASTLE OBLIVION and hes fighting his own demons i mean darkness i mean ansem i mean xehanorts heartless and he meet up with mickey a few times and then he meets DiZ and he also meets a replica of himself--yeah by the way the organization is making replicas, That Sure Wont Ever Be Referenced Again : )-- and its this game that rikus like YEAH I CAN USE THE DARKNESS AS POWER AND STRENGTH and HES GONNA WALK THE ROAD TO DAWN and then every riku rper put dawn in their url and i got confused trying to keep them all straight lord please help me im a little ol sammi

then we have 358/2 days for the DS which i never replayed cause it was tedious af which is all about the organization and roxas’s time in the organization and meeting his best buds axel and xion and saix standing in the corner being a jealous little binch PLEASE SAIX JUST BE NICE THEYLL GIVE YOU ICE CREAM TOO IF YOU ASK POLITELY Xion is another replica except shes a replica of sora but something got messed up and she got his memories of kairi which is why she looks like her but with black hair for whatever reason, i think nomura just wanted a cool goth girl to add to the series and we all thank him for it, and she and roxas become so close they kinda start influencing that weird memory shit going on and xion keeps trying to leave the organization to set things right but axel always gets stuck with the icky jobs and we got the iconic GO ON YOU JUST KEEP RUNNIN BUT ILL ALWAYS BE THERE TO BRING YOU BACK and i think around this time roxas is also super fed up with the organization and decides FUCK YALL IM DONE and punches saix and leaves. but xion finds him and they have a cool boss battle sequence got i love you xion you are a POWERHOUSE but roxas defeats her and she dies and its the saddest thing in the world AND NOBODY REMEMBERS HER WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ABOUT!!!! anyway roxas decides hes gonna punch kingdom hearts next cause it was xions last wish but riku, who is sporting a cool blindfold for edge, is like HEY WE NEED YOU TO WAKE UP SORA and roxas is all SORA THIS SORA THAT I DONT GIVE A FUCK and tey fight! and riku loses cause roxas has two keybladees! OBLIVION IS THE BEST KEYBLADE IT LOOKS SUPER COOL I LOVE IT SO MUCH WOW but riku rips off his blindfold and summons the darkness and he takes on ansems, xehanorts heartless, appearance and he squeezes roxas until he passes out and then they yeeted roxas into a data twilight town for a few days.

so enter kh2 with the 6 hours roxas tutorial in the data twilight town until he goes to find sora and returns to him. SO FINALLY AFTER AN ENTIRE YEAR sora wakes up with all his proper memories and so does donald and goofy and theyre like COOL LETS GO FIND RIKU AND KING MICKEY and they go journeying around the worlds again to stop the organization. meanwhile axels gettin desperate to see his best friend for life roxas again and kidnaps kairi but shes like HEY I AINT HAVING THAT and runs off and ends up in twilight town but axel finds her and kidnaps her anyway but then saix kidnaps her to the world that never was. and so soras like WE GOTTA GO SAVE KAIRI AND RIKU NOW cause by the way earlier like midpoint of the game maybe Mickey was like SAY FELLAS DID SOMEONE MENTION THE DOOR TO DARKNESS and its one of my favorite quotes in this hell franchise, so like THYE KNOW KING MICKEY IS OK that just leaves kairi and riku and stopping the organization. so they find kairi and they find riku and sora cries a bit and im just happy the destiny trio is together again. And DiZ showed up again, hes actually ansem the wise, and he talks about computers and hearts and research and xemnas, the organizations leader, is likeI WAS YOUR APPRENTICE! BUT YOU DIDNT LET ME DO ILLEGAL HUMAN EXPERIMENT SON HEARTS SO I KICKED YOU OUT AND RREMOVED MY OWN HEART AND THATS WHY THERES A HEARTLESS AND A NOBODY OF XEHANORT and ansem the wise is like YEAH BITCH and he explodes and riku turns back to normal but he also really needs a haircut. so they go punch xemnas in his zebra coat and riku and sora chill in the realm of darkness for about ten minute son the beach, i guess aqua was hanging out somewhere else, and they get a message form kairi in a bottle and the door to light opens and they go home and it was literally!!!!! a better fucking ending!!!! than kh3!!!!!!!!! thats my tea!!!!!!

anyways now that i finally got it over with and watched tros, i got some thoughts^tm abt tros nobody asked for

things i absolute love:   1. young luke and leia sparring in a flashback  2. when all the voices of jedi speak through rey to grant her strength i think one of them was ahsoka’s!!! anyways we love ahsoka!!! i never thought i’d even hear her voice in a major star wars movie and im happy that i did  3. lando’s presence in the entire film  things i don’t love and kinda hate:  1. ok first of all, i actually like  the film ending on tatooine and with a shot of rey looking over the twin suns--the fact that the story ends where it begins...beautiful. BUT it’s still unsatisfying because rey isn’t a true skywalker, she just adopted that name. when it’s revealed that rey is a sheev (palpatine isn’t a last name lol even tho they kept referring to her as a palpatine), it seems the audience i watched the movie with thought it makes perfect sense and i suppose it does, but it’s still a shitty answer to rey’s true parentage, esp considering that....idk, nothing about her as a character--already as bland as she is--suggest this. 2. the fact that the tros interacted but they don’t get along, at all. its like, what’s the point again?  3. finn and poe and characters of colour being sidelined. it’s absolutely true, they are. it was all about rey and kylo, but EVEN THEN, lmao, if u gonna focus on these two bland ass characters, might as well make it so that their arcs make some sense? but no, their arcs make not even cents ok luv, not even one single cent. rey and her relationship with, like, anger and the dark side is like such rushed arc that never really gets explored in three whole movies but thats the whole point of her struggle lmao. the story in tros is all about them and their story doesnt even make no cents, so how good the story is gonna be �� 4. the over-simplistic portrayal of light side vs dark side conflict 5. the whole hux was a spy for the resistance thing was such cheap joke, its so stupid. what a shitty villain he is

6. this movie as a whole, its a mess and it’s not even jj’s fault. there were so much shits crucial to this movie that were never even mentioned in the last two films in the trilogy or the other major movies OR EVEN THE EXTENDED UNIVERSE. it says that leia rejected the offer to train with luke after she discovered that she’s luke’s sister in like a new EU book material but it shows in this film that they did train and she had a whole ass lightsaber? since when? luke was searching for sith pathfinder (why not holocron instead huh, why not holocrons) with lando??? since when??? and if he was on this mission, then why the fuck did he abandon the search and decided to be a hermit? how did palpatine figured out how to make thousands of star destroyers that are basically thousands of death stars? because that’s a thing now? how come nobody came for help in tlj and now everybody came in this movie? no explanation whatsoever? finn knows that he’s force sensitive now, very great stuff, but how? and when? this shit should be introduced in tlj but obvs rian jackson went and fucked it over. poe was used to be involved in spice/drug dealing business? how??? since when? he was always the son of rebel veterans and that was all? damn whats the role hes playing in this trilogy at this point? tros is trying to introduce a whole bunch of new plots and concepts from holes in the ground, if it’s already doing that, why did they scratch jj’s idea of having son of mortis to be the antagonist of the film? it makes sense that an literal embodiment of force who’s been interested in anakin skywalker as the chosen one this entire time is somehow involved in creation of rey or is shown to be manipulating the skywalker bloodline. this villain’d connect rey to the heart of the star wars in an unexpected way and better justifies her adopting the skywalker name. i hate this movie and it’s actually not even this movie’s fault, lucasfilm’s poor planning years in the making and rian johnson’s jackass deciding to take the middle instalment of the trilogy as an his fanfiction independent film are the reasons why this movie and the trilogy are the mess it is.  to be fair, star wars stories has always been products of various groups of people starting with george himself winging it and dealing with what they came up with as they go, and sometimes what they came up with were better than the others and thats all. star wars is never truly good and we should just take whatever we like from what is now a disney cash grab franchise and go!

Lycoris Recoil. - a lot of you could argue on how this one is not GAY but i could spend two days defending its gayness and no one will convince me otherwise. there's a reason why Chisato and Takina have become one of the favorite couples of the last years as long as they appeared and with only one season. this one is full of comedy, girl assasins, inmaculate action, beautiful animation and ITS GAY! lmao istg

Mobile Suit Gundam: the Witch from Mercury. - when ppl say its Utena in space is bc thats exactly what it is lol. this past season has brought a lot of good entries but this one is the jewel of the crown OO jesuschrist. Gundam is a franchise with more than 30 years of history and for the first time a female protagonist and also the whole argument revolving a gay love story. as a longtime Gundam fan myself saying that i was excited af is an understatement. on top of that the story is SO FUCKING GOOD! the animation, its dark undertones, THE GAY, like holy fuck. and this is only season 1 of what is gonna be IMO the best anime of the season and all the seasons to come.

The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady. - another gay isekai bc thats like the new normal lmao. this one just started airing but its so good lmao purely gay and funny af. go watch it right now! i have read the manga and the novels and you won't be disappointed. lol very worth it!

(airing summer 2023)

19. Whisper me a love song. - music gay manga that also received the green light for animation. very cute, highschool piece of life drama and gay as it can be <3 (airing sometime this year)

20. Yuri is My Job! .- comedy gay manga to be animated this year as well ^^ cute girls, nice storytelling, comedy and of course gay drama! (airing april 2023)

speaking about gay Anime or Yuri as the connoisseurs call it, i've seen them ALL, and im not even exaggerating lmao, i've seen almost every anime in which two girls kiss or end up together. but when ppl think about those is always the same old ones on every list cause for a LONG time those were the only ones aviable until recently that somehow the creators became more committed to these stories and have been giving us quality content. here's where my personal preference interferes .. i only go for happy endings lmao i don't waste my time on depressing shit lmao. life is depressing enough as it is lol. so yeah, lets start from the beggining.

Strawberry Panic. - you've probably heard about this one but is a classic and a master piece for a reason. very light and sweet but also a good share of drama. all girls school, gay for days, great ending :)

2. El Cazador de la Bruja. - the third on a trilogy of non connected pieces about gay protagonists. imo the best of the 3 cause is the one who actually ends on a good place :) and that place is Mexico lmao. extremely interesting adventure story, VERY gay and a easy to watch.

3. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. - a very special piece, very close to my heart, in which in a course of 3 seasons you get to see the rare occurrence of a relationship between these two girls since they're kids all up to when they get married and acquire a kid lmao plus magic and monsters and all that jazz lmao. te longest of the list but also one of the bests.

4. Assault Lily Bouquet. - one of the most recent entries. very gay, very dramatic but also very short D: again all girls school, everyone is gay, the end lmao

5. Bloom Into You. - cause of course this one cant be missing from this list. IMO the best yuri anime in modern times. easy watch, gorgeous artstyle, school coming of age, actually gay, very good ending, i cant literally praise it enough. and the anime only goes half the way of the original manga. i HIGHLY recommend reading the manga which is finished <3

6. Citrus. - this might be controversial for some but in the core is very sweet and well executed, the manga keeps on going but the anime stops on a really good place. very interesting and over all sexy.

7. Fragtime. - very cute movie about two girls in school who fall in love with each other under weird circumstances. i loved every second of it. my only complain being that it could have been longer D:

Princess Principal. - the only entry in here that isn't "explicitly" gay lol or at least not in the conventional way cause the main girls are literally dating in secret. cute, romantic period piece with awesome music and effects. and also still ongoing in the form of movies. if they end up confirming it remines to be seen. but c'mon, this is official art.

9. Yurikuma Arashi. - beautiful work of art from the same ppl behind the classic UTENA. a wnderful representation of the phrase "again but gayer" the story is kinda cnfusing like everything they do lmao but once you really get into it, it slowly consumes your soul.
