One of my top 5 complaints about things that happened in this show is that we finally get to see Cassandra in Rite of Passage after not having seen her since In The Line of Duty (1969 does not count) and she's AWFUL. Just because she's like 16 now does not mean she had to be like that. It's so incredibly unnecessary. It's like they took the opportunity to develop Cassie's relationship with Janet and Sam and just deliberately sabotaged it for no explainable reason.

#it's not like there weren't other kids!#also did they think we wouldn't realize that colleen rennison played allie in bane and literally doesn't even look like katie stuart or?#they disrespected EVERYONE with this episode and it throws me into a fucking rage every single time #janet did not deserve this most of all #but it's also absolute character assassination for Cassandra #like she wasn't around that much but she was so important in the first season arc AND the development of Sam and Janet's friendship #AND the development of Sam's character #and none of the other kids were ever stereotyped as nasty petulant brats so it makes me really mad that they did this to her #like it's vaguely suggested she's acting like this because of the virus but it's sure as fuck not discussed enough #and for that matter still wouldn't be a good enough reason and would still piss me off #idk I hate this episode something awful lollllll #jo's permament stargate rewatch
