New @idiombrewingco collab dropping tomorrow: "Soul Gazer" Thiolized Hazy DIPA (8.5%) ft. NZ Cascade, Citra Cryo, Moutere, NZH-107 & Nelson Sauvin hops brewed w/ Phantasm 🧙‍♂️ This big DIPA was loaded with thiol precursors as we mash hopped with NZ Cascade and whirlpooled with powdered NZ Sauvignon Blanc grape skins (via innovation from @phantasm.nz). We then unlocked all that juicy thiol potential using @omegayeast's Helio Gazer strain to create a juice bomb IPA that drinks almost as if a boatload passion fruits themselves has been juiced straight into the glass. Citra Cryo, Moutere, NZH-107 & Nelson Sauvin hops lend white grape and lime accents but tropical passion fruit brought on by loads of liberated, tasty aromatic thiols is the star of the show here. This beer is truly one of the most uniquely delicious concoctions we have ever created. Now available for pre-order on biermi (link in bio!) A few short weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting the crew for a day brewing yet another boundary-pushing IPA--this time using Helio Gazer, an innovative new yeast strain from @omegayeast. #Repost • @girlfermented It’s Episode 71 of my Maryland Monday Big Brew series and I’m sippin’ on the Black is Beautiful collab by @idiombrewingco & @weatheredsoulsbrewing at 9% ABV! Hooray for back of the fridge finds, amirite? This Imperial Stout flips the original Weathered Souls recipe by switching the percentages of Chocolate and Black malt, as well as using malted oats in place of flaked oats. Cocoa, boozy, and roasted malt aroma. Roasty, coffee, toffee, with a dark chocolate bitterness. Creamy and well balanced. Quite an enjoyable brew that held up well! 🌺 New super limited collab release w/ @idiombrewingco! "Flower Sour" Zero IBU Sour IPA (6.0%) ft. Lotus & Cashmere hops This refreshing sour ale was brewed, kettle soured, and fermented without an ounce of hops or fruit. Once fermentation was complete, we buried this citrusy sour delight in 5#/BBL of a blend of Lotus & Cashmere hops. The result is a refreshing citrus juice bomb that tastes like someome squeezed fresh navel orange peel straight into your tongue. You can practically see the bursts of citrus oil spray from the peel if you close your eyes and taste this beer. We're sending a couple kegs up Idiom's way tomorrow for release at a time of their choosing.
