Have you ever carried a cross? I mean larger than the one around your neck, also larger than you to be specific. There is something super humbling about this experience. Everyone is looking at you carry this object of shame, yet I will never even carry it to my execution. I encourage you to try this though; just this small glimpse of what Christ went through for you will change your perspective. Are you confused ? Lately there has been so much talk about identity in the news. I myself have been caught up in the reading & discussion about it all... Then last night & early this morning I began to think about it differently... I'm sitting here amazed how satan has been attacking the very thing in people's lives, that makes them the unique & beautiful people that they were created to be... Their Identity! He attacked Jesus Identity... With asking him, " if you be the Son of God then".... I've read where people are "confused " on who they identify with... Satan is the author of Confusion... He attacks in the mind with thoughts & brings confusion to your life, to trip you up & fall. Our identity is in Jesus. We were made in the image of God, nothing more,nothing less... We are know who we are in Christ & walk in that everything He is so are we ....
