agree that yj got boring this season. all the acting is still good but shauna giving birth made me feel nothing and I think her conversation to her baby afterwards was really heavy-handed and awkward. I liked walt, it was nice to see van, and I think shauna and callie’s dynamic is really fun, but besides that this season is really not grabbing me. best part was them eating jackie but nothing that compelling has happened since 😔

#where is the mystery...things are so slow #and the way the black girls have been written does not impress either #and the way that crystal was introduced then killed just to give misty character development was so gross #akilah's entire plot has been talking to a mouse including during helping shauna deliver a baby?#that felt so awkward and shoehorned in #idek what is happening with taissa she just seems really tired and apologetic all the time for things her shadow self does #which is so depressing to watch and idk what the point is #yj lb
