can i speak my truth here. im getting reaaaaaaal tired of the whole "i like [m/f ship] bc they're yuri to me" thing and how common it's become in fandom spaces
#idc if you genderbend the man to make it yuri#idec if you do it to a m/m ship. i like fem AUs for m/m ships#but it's so specifically infuriating when it's like. used as a shield#to deflect from the fact that (gasp) you like a man and a woman together#not like that though!! you like it in the Enlightened way#you like it like a f/f ship#except its not f/f. bc god forbid you actually enjoy the f/f ships already available#never thought id see the day where im defending peoples ability to ship men and women together lmao#i feel like that one 'let men be masculine' post#its just so. people will do anything except ship f/f#chattering
