How to boost your creative thinking?
Coming up with something innovative regularly can become exhausting and overwhelming. But the urge of wanting to be the person everyone prefers going to when it comes to creativity is a thing we can’t let go and we shouldn’t especially when it’s the reason behind our earning.
Wanna be Demiurge of eternal ideas? Well, it might be tough but it’s not impossible. Here’s my dish of ways to take your thinking up a notch!
Tumblr media
1. Do what you love the most.
I know this is probably 1000000th time you are reading this, but you gotta believe me, it is the most simple but, efficient way of refreshing your mind. It could be dancing, singing, gardening or whatever that makes you excited about life.
Tumblr media
2.Activate your mind:
Set up your mood! Do a random Math quiz (If you are a part of 1% of population who enjoys Math problems) or watch a mystery movie, if that’s what it takes to wake up your mind. This is a fun brain exercise and a neuroscientific fact!
I’m not applying my own science here, according to Dr. Amanda Ellison ‘ The best TV crime dramas build suspense over a number of episodes. They challenge viewers to pay attention to complicated stories, including red herrings, and to remember them from episode to episode. In other words, they provide great stimulation for the brain, which in turn helps keep it healthy, as the human brain needs to be kept active. In fact, when you deprive it of stimulation it reacts very badly’. Read the rest of the article here:   https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/11374598/Why-watching-TV-crime-dramas-is-good-for-your-brain.html
Tumblr media
3.Break it into chunks:
Try to identify a problem and then think of every perspective of that issue. After that, break it into pieces and answer them one by one. Sometimes looking at a monster project is overwhelming but, if you cut it down into small parts it will help you understand it much better.
Tumblr media
4.Brainstorming:
Tumblr media
Last and the most fun one. This is a very effective way to give birth to outstanding ideas. Just jot down everything that you have in your mind on a piece of paper, clear your mind by throwing out all those weird, incomplete ideas on a blank page.Untangle your thoughts!

Day 23 - My “Gratitude August” - I am grateful for the power in collaborative ideation. . . You are an idea creator, but can you solve all the problems in the world? No, so don’t beat yourself up. How do you know problems you can solve? When you look around you with an open mind, you will begin to get a strong nudge about the particular sector (s) you were created for (What I’d love to call your purpose sector). It could be in entertainment, education, agriculture, oil and gas, or anything else. With a decision to pay attention to this, comes streams of possible ideas on solutions you can provide. And the day you finally decide to stop focusing on just analyzing the existing problems in that sector of purpose, and start making conscious efforts to put your solutions to use within your immediate sphere of influence, you will realize that you are never alone as the universe starts signposting you to meet people who thinks like you. Someone, somewhere is interested in the problems you are interested in. When you start, you’d be connected to them. When you allow yourself to create a joint solution, you’re a step ahead in winning. As I thought about the power of creating joint ideas, I knew my gratitude for the day had been established. Don’t know how to come up with an idea?
Tumblr media
To bring a unique idea to the table which no one has ever thought of before is indeed a tough job but, the answer could be very simple. A short walk, movie, novel, peaceful drive or even a song can open up your mind. Foremost thing you need to do is to take a deep breath and tell yourself ‘It’s fine. It will take time but it will be worth it.’ When you allow yourself to relax, your mind feels free to wander and then it wanders beyond your imagination.
That’s how a great idea is built!

In 2011 the designer was one of the first participants in YOOX's The Next Talents showcase, so the partnership comes full circle.
