blanket disclaimer: if you like pjotv critical posts incl mine and use it as a reason to hate on especially leah, get the fuck off my page and take a long walk off a short pier so you can maybe reflect on why you’re filled with so much hate at the idea of your favorite being casted as black in an adaptation

#the cast is in fact one of the only saving graces of the show #and rationalize it as much as you want but this is just racism #are you allowed to hold one vision of the characters over the others? sure #book and show are separate canons that co-exist. this should not be difficult to understand but so many people are pea-brained #but to specifically trash on the portrayal of one character due to their race and features #and to purposefully ignore and exclude depictions of them as such even in fanworks… you may have some internalized prejudices to address #moreover. fanartists and fic writers are not here to cater to your specific tastes #idc if you qualify your criticism of how theyre depicted with a ‘but good work!’ idk how else to say this other than #youre the worst kind of asshole because youre not even brave enough to own up to your assholishness #rants #fandom wank #leah is our annabeth #pjotv crit
